We arrived in Moab in the evening on Christmas Day. Singha Thai seemed to be the only place open so the wait for dine in and to go was insanely long. We placed our order, left to check in at the hotel and came back in 45 minutes to pick up our food. We got chicken pad Thai and spicy basil fried rice. They were both delicious. We actually tried this place a few years ago and thought they were good. I'm very happy that they maintain the quality of their food, even on an insanely busy night. Their menu prices are comparable to other restaurants in Moab. Entrees portions are generous with plenty of leftovers. Whenever I try a new Thai restaurant I always order the Pad Thai chicken because if you manage to cook it right or screw it up, it says a lot. I've eaten this dish in at least 100 restaurants around the country and most overcook the squid so it's rubbery/chewy. Really friendly service, and nice, low key, off the main drag restaurant to enjoy some tasty Thai food after an amazing day! I had the drunken noodles, which were not very spicy. However, my waitress brought out two different hot sauces for me to use, (one green and one red,) and they were both just what I needed to make my dinner spicier! First time experience after a lengthy drive. Overall, pleasantly surprised and pleased with Singha Thai. Being a block off Main Street resulted in zero-wait on a Saturday evening. It's our first time in the area and stopped by for lunch based on the reviewed. The restaurant is nice and clean. It is nicely decorated and with very good foods and services. Felt like I was at grandmas house. But I'm this case my grandma was the grandma that owned the place. Cant believe this place has bad reviews. I've been to many restaurants in my life and this is by far one of the best restaurants I've ever been too. Prices were EXTREMELY CHEAP for a tourist town. Service was amazing. Food was to die for. The one and only game in town for Thai in Moab. We gave it a try and were pleased. We saw a waitress form the Jailhouse Breakfast restaurant so even the locals go there, in fact almost everyone there seemed to be a local. They have a large selection of teas to choose from. Arrived at 9:15 pm tonight as Yelp says they are open until 9:30 pm. There was a sign at the door that said new hours are until 9 pm. We walked in and asked the girl if they're closed. Thankfully, she said they were still open. We decided to do take out as we didn't want to be those people who decide to dine in while they are trying to close, and were so thankful we gave her a tip for the takeout order. We got a pad Thai and pad see ew and two Thai teas. I was so excited for a Thai tea as I wanted something refreshing after hiking. As we sat and waited, the girl came up and told us they are out of Thai tea, and asked if wanted a green tea or Thai coffee. We got a refund instead. We finally got our food and left. After we drove a few minutes, my friend looked in the bag and noticed we did not get any napkins or plastic ware for our food. We turned back around and as I started walking up the door when another girl came rushing out asking for my pad Thai back, saying she needs to switch it. When I went inside, I was told that the first one was made too spicy, so they made another one not as spicy. I'm glad they caught it? But also, we would have been stuck with the wrong meal if we never went back for our silverware. Anyways, I walked out with napkins and such, and my friend looked at it and reminded me how she ordered no beansprouts for her pad Thai, so once again I went back inside. I walked up to the lady and the girl that took our order, and I said my friend ordered it without beansprouts. The girl was like, yeah, no beansprouts. Ohhhh they put the beansprouts in there? And didn't know what else to say or do. The lady took it back and remade it. Got the pad Thai back, and the bowl was 1/3 smaller. I asked why the portion was so much smaller, and she said because there's no beansprouts. I was like, there's that much beansprouts?? And yes, indeed, 1/3 of your pad Thai will be beansprouts. And by the end of all this, there's only 6 pieces of squid in the bowl of pad Thai... They get 1 star for being open after 9 pm. Food is okay. Not very authentic. For example, no fish sauce or red chili used in the papaya salad. Pad see ew is heavy on salty soy sauce. Some curries are full flavored other insipid. And portions are small. But the worst part is the tip policy. Any table larger than 4 will have 20% gratuity added to the check. Is this normal in Utah? I'm happy to tip upwards of 20% for good service but adding it to the check for a 4-top is unheard of, at least where I'm from. read more

We were here when we stayed at Moab. It was Monday and most of the restaurants were closed. This one was open and we signed on the board and waited about 10 minutes. The restaurant was pretty small but the food were pretty good. We had some wine and beer. The alcohol drink were a little bit pricy but it's understandable at Moab. The only thing we were not satisfied was the slow-moving waitress, but again, it is understandable because Moab is a city full of travelers and people here are not catching time at all so the whole city is pretty slow.
