We have been waiting to try Singleton's for a awhile now and they were undergoing renovations for a little over 3 months and now they are finally open. The inside feels like I am inside a wooden ship, cool memorabilia over the years are seen throughout this spot. Seated at the outdoor view and even got to see a Carnival Cruise liner pass by (didn't know they make their way up here) and the view is just awesome as the sunset comes. For drinks, got the Singleton Sunset-because it is that time of the day and a Modelo Especial which are both really good to mix with seafood. Calamari and Steamed dozen Oysters for appetizers were right on the spot. Got the Good for 2 Meal which we selected Blackened Trigger Fish and Scallops. They paired really well with the Collard Greens and French Fries. Our server Jill gave us delicious recommendations and was attentive. There are lots of customers on the weekend, so it may take some time for the orders.

I've only been here for steamed oysters and they oh so good. Last time I went, I also tried the buffalo shrimp app. They were delicious. Our server was amazing. He's great! The restaurant sits on the water so it's a great vibe no matter the time of day as long as you have good company.

As a big fan of Guy Fieri, I definitely wanted to give Singleton's as he had introduced on his famous "Diner, Drive-ins, and Dives show. After initially trying it out, I have been recommending it as a must go place for out-of-towners. We were definitely forewarned that the combos "for two" were not simply for two but quite possibly for four or even five people. There was quite a good amount of food for the price. We sat out on the deck and it definitely was quite a nice experience to sit out by the pier and have a ton of seafood.

Lots of stems in the collards.

The fried food was not seasoned. I even asked, is the fish seasoned the response was... you can order it fried, blackened or ... that doesn't answer the question. We proceeded to order the three combo shrimp, grouper and deviled crab. Also soft fried crab. No seasoning was added to our fried fish or soft crab. The size of the shrimp was nice. For the price and the taste we will not return. There was seating outside by the water which looked nice. We sat indoors due to the chilly weather. Oh the collards were seasoned but I recommend they remove the stems.

My parents took us here while visiting and we loved it! The vibes were exactly what you want in a beach restaurant: casual, quick, good food and good views. We sat outside and were able to watch the pelicans perched on the columns. They also had live music, which was nice. The food was delicious - my parents got the fried seafood dinner for two and it lasted them three meals! So much food but all delicious. Cold drinks, hot food, 10/10 recommend!

Lunch on a sunny Sunday afternoon was absolutely delicious! The raw oysters were amazing in addition to the very lightly seasoned fried shrimp and oysters were cooked to perfection!

An OG among the Diners Drive-Ins and Dives places that have aired, and I'm glad that we got the opportunity to stop by. Ambiance...you want Ambiance YELP...Here you got more Ambiance than you can shake a stick at... It looks the same as it did years ago when it aired...when you think of what an old Florida Seafood Shack would look like....this is it. And when you think of what they'd be serving up...this is it. Anna, our server was very busy as they were short-handed but she kept on top of things for everyone. She told us the catch of the day was Mahi-mahi and that's what we went with. Mine blackened with Coleslaw and Terri's was fried and with fries. Both were very good and I can see why these folks are still in business after all these years!

The food was fresh and delicious. The prices were affordable. Lately, I loved sitting directly on the water!

Great food and great atmosphere right on the water. Our server was great and attentive.

    View of exterior.

Always a winner. FnIky vibe and very friendly service. Outdoor deck has river view. Watch the ferry cross. Fresh fish and sweet Mayport shrimp. VERY good value, lunch or dinner.

Haven't visited Singleton in a long while. Decent deck, nice view. Service fair to be generous. Shrimp way overcooked. Seasoning bland.

This was only our second time ever hanging out at an Island Girl, but we had a blast. The place is very big with everything you could need: darts and a lot of pool tables for everyone else along with Golden Tee Golf for us. They don't serve food (of course) but The Hanger Bay Cafe and Simply Tasty Thai are right in the same plaza, so you can have great food brought to you. The waitstaff was awesome, the people hanging out were cool and the place has a lot to do. So we're really happy we went. On a side note: Football is not my thing. At all. While at the bar the bartender was concerned of my dogs well being stating it was too Smoky and not an adequate place for a dog (mind you this establishment is for humans) besides the point of this place not being the cleanest that is my choice to stay or go. After I allowed a few people on the pool table next to my group to say hello I was asked to leave because the staff member did not believe he was a real service animal. Like I said I am wheelchair bound and this dog is solely trained to do item retrieval for me in tough to reach places. Such as if I drop something under my truck or rolls under an obstacle and I can not reach it myself. I travel for work quite frequently to places requiring all sorts of criteria and regulations and not one problem other than at this shit hole of a bar. Don't get me wrong I love a dive bar but my life being in a wheelchair is already tough enough without being discriminated against because of your staffs inability to understand the ADA law and realize I am perfectly within my rights to allow anyone I chose to say hello to my service animal. I reached out to Disability Rights of Florida to file a lawsuit against this establishment and because it's a sole entity and too small to file against them. Which leaves me to this, I just want it to known to the public how much this has bothered me as it happened almost 3 years ago! This has bothered me to the point that I still think about it to this day. Do better as a business to educate your staff!
