Took myself out for a little solo lunch at Fish Company. I haven't been in a long time and wanted to share that it is just as good as I remember. I treated myself to half a pound of their spicy peel and eat shrimp, small order of mussels and three pounds of crawfish to go. I know the LA crawfish purists will go berserk at the fact it's $15 a lb, but to me it's definitely worth the price. The seasonings used are fantastic and infinitely better than the frozen stuff you'll find at the boil places in town. Overall, I highly recommend treating yourself to a wonderful meal at Fish Company! -- at The Fish Co Jax.

    Seafood salad. Delicious

We came on a Thursday night without a reservation and there was 30 min wait. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We ended up sitting at the bar area and greatly enjoyed it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Seafood salad was delicious. Great scallops and fish was out of this world. We also tried peel&eat shrimp appetizer and it wasn't good. It wasn't easy to peel and it's wasn't deveined, which was pretty nasty.

The food especially fish or oysters is always great and fresh! Dependable service and dishes, we never hesitate to decide to go here during the week or weekend. They have a rewards program too. The Fish Company's Atlantic Beach Seafood Salad is a must try it's that fabulous. Great cocktails and something for everyone. Great bar and bartenders too.

As usual, we had a very friendly and efficient server. We started with our favorite, steamed oysters. They arrived quickly, were steaming hot, and accompanied by all the fixings! Then came our meals. My companion ordered a pasta dish with shrimp and sausage. She loved it. I ordered crabcakes and a baked potato. I couldn't taste much crab in the crab cakes, and my potato was unexpectedly small. Because of the oysters, I'll still return.

We stopped here for an early dinner on a whim last Sunday after losing track of time due to the changing of the clocks. My husband chose the gumbo, a generous portion of shrimp and andouille sausage over rice with a mini baguette on the side. I tried the crabcake platter. Lightly breaded, mostly crab and very flavorful. It came with crinkly cut fries, cole slaw and two crispy hush puppies. Glad we finally tried this long time neighborhoods favorite after completely forgetting about it for years.

Clam Chowder- creamy and great flavor

Haven't been here in a while and my husband wanted their shrimp and grits. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Casual coastal vibe, one smaller fish tank.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Sat as a part of 5 on a Saturday around 6 with no wait. Server was great, even brought carafes of soda for the kids. Started with a special fall drink, cranberry rye old fashioned (very good) and husband had a blue moon. We also enjoyed some fried calamari, a bit salty but otherwise good. Served like small sticks instead of rings. Daughter and I shared some New England Clam Chowder which had great flavor and was decadent and creamy. Main meals: Shrimp and grits- heavy but good flavor with sausage and shrimp, a spicy oil (not really spicy) and mushrooms. Fish and grits- not the lunch recipe, but mimicked the above sub fried cod. Also very good and a lot of fish but the cod on top became soggy quickly- probably better in the side. Appetizer crab cakes and a side of fries. Fried, my son liked. Shrimp Alfredo, good flavor, basic but good alfredo sauce. For me, scallop appetizer on green beans with a ginger sauce. Good, scallops were more room temp. On side, a spinach cake- also good but maybe a little salty. Will be back.

They always have the specials on the chalk board when you walk in!

We always enjoy TFC no matter for just drinks, oysters and appetizers or a full dinner. The extensive menu has something for everyone and the seafood is always fresh and well prepared. Can't beat $10/dozen oysters on a Tuesday for sure! If you crave Mayport shrimp, this is your local beaches spot!

    Irawin K.

We love oysters and I used to be a regular when I lived at the beaches. Back when they were $3.5 a dozen lol [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cool family friendly date night spot![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The flounder was very good n flavorful and the green beans had a great flavor. The gumbo was very good but it needed a little bit more rice. The server did a great job she was very attentive and didn't miss anything. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor was great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We enjoyed the patio.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Our go to place for seafood, mainly for oysters on half shell. $17 a dozen everyday, all day, can't beat it. All dishes we have had here are outstanding. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Full bar, oyster bar, outside seating and plenty of parking.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Seafood is fresh and cooked to perfection. Fried chicken is amazing. Service is always excellent. .

Friends invited us out to try this restaurant on Valentine's Day which normally I wouldn't recommend cause they would be crazy busy, but we got a late night reservation and came in. Our server was excellent! Really welcoming and sweet, which I loved. Now to the food, it was delicious! Everything we tried I liked! I ended up doing their valentines special which was an app, entree and dessert for $40. Loved the crab stuffed shrimp, loved the chicken dish, chicken cooked perfectly! Not dry at all! Dessert was good. Would definitely come back to try more!

Fish Co is the go to for fresh seafare from local catch, oysters, scallops, crab and when in season best place in Jax to get Stone Crabs!! The sides all can hold their own from the Spinach w/miso dressing, cheese grits, slaw, Caesar salad, & hush-puppies will hush your puppy lol. The pasta dishes are divine with your choice of seafood added too. Beverages are excellent and a nice pour-check out the happy hour menu too. Service at the tables or bar tops are always friendly and full of knowledge and a fantastic representation of what the owners envisioned. The Key Lime ‍ pie is hands down the Best in Jax ... you'd have to travel to So Fla or the Keys to find anything comparable ... it's a must get even if you just take it home after filling up on the lunch or dinner. In fact I wonder if they sell whole pies at holiday time? I may have to inquire. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is casually elevated and when the weather allows outside areas are fun as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Kudos to this great Beach venue!! Always a "Go-to"!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We all started off with our own wine flight and I think we all got the Whites of the World one, which was delicious!! I split one with my friend, which was a good amount for us, but you could definitely order your own too. For appetizers, we got the specials burrata and Brussels sprouts. Both were amazinggggg but the best was the Brussels sprouts. I always thought I didn't like them but after eating these I found out I do! That sauce is amazing. For my entree, I got the chimichurri steak. It had great flavor, but was a little cold. I guess I didn't get any pics of dessert because it was just that good but we got the sticky toffee cake and I'm still dreaming about it!! So delicious!! Our waiter, Jonathan, was so sweet, and already split the items we split on the bill for our group like dessert without us asking and very knowledgeable of the menu especially different wines. I was a little incredulous that a former Sailor could run an Asian restaurant with such awesome ramen! Well, now I believe everything I heard. As a former sailor, upon entry I immediately fell in love with the Navy decor, pictures, and even the tables in the dining area had the seals of ships and other commands past and present on the table top art that gave a tremendous nostalgic feel to an old sea warrior like me! OK, I was a Chaps - I gave spiritual support to those warriors. Nevertheless, the ramen bowls here are a work of artistic beauty! I felt like I needed to stare at my meal for an hour before daring to touch it! On this day, we had the Bayou Ramen and the Traditional Ramen. The Bayou Ramen has a real Cajun spicing to it - unmistakable in every way. It has some heat to it, but not heavy - I'd say it was just about right for my taste. The shrimp and sausage in it were perfectly prepped - I could have taken some home but didn't - just couldn't stop eating this! It also included carrots, corn, a seasoned egg, scallions, ramen noodles in chicken bayou broth. If you like ramen of a Cajun variety, you'll love this! The traditional ramen bowl was pretty basic. You could have a choice of broth, but the basic version has little to no heat factor. It comes with roast pork, bok choy, carrots, corn, seasoned eggs, scallions, ramen noodles. I had the leftovers of this ramen bowl the next day and it was outstanding too! In addition, when you come here, you MUST get the fried chicken! It's among the best I've ever tasted. It's definitely bested KFC in my book! Anyone who wants to try a solid ramen restaurant which classic offerings and some creative versions of ramen, must visit Hangar Bay! I will add that the service we received as terrific! For a little while, I felt like I was eating on the mess deck again! I'll surely be back! Recommend: VERY HIGH!
