I don't know why this has such low ratings, we loved it. Kind bar staff, good drinks and the food was excellent. Not one complaint. The stained glass is beautiful inside.

This place was everything I hoped for and more. I requested this for a date night. Reservations were hard to come by. We had to get a 9 pm reservation. It's so pretty and festive inside. They actually have real food to offer. Other Christmas themed location really only have small bites. My crab cake was meaty and fresh. My steak was delicious and husband enjoyed all his seafood. Our waiter would pass by often and see if everything was ok. I can't wait to come back next year.

The family and I made reservations at sinners steakhouse for their special holiday event, and it did not disappoint. The décor and atmosphere were stunning everything truly gets you into the holiday spirit. The staff was very welcoming and incredibly kind, and despite the restaurant being busy from the moment the doors opened, the food came out in a timely manner. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the drinks were perfectly made. I would absolutely return in the future. This is a must-visit for anyone who enjoys Christmas themed restaurants. What we ordered: * Calamari * Onion Rings * Skirt Steak * Chicken Parm (with Vodka Sauce) * Cookie Skillet (Dessert) Drink: White Christmas Cosmo

Down to up experience,Went there last Sunday for an Anniversary celebration, had a reservation for 1:15 and we were seated only at 1:50. After we were seated everything got better gradually, service was good, food was great! Place is well decorated for the season, ambiance was a bit loud mainly because there was a lot of tables together and they have a Bar area very close to the Dinning room. Menu has limited options but all the 3 plates we got the food was amazing. (Baked cod was perfect). It's a little on the pricey side but definitely a place that i probably will go back.

The service, ambiance, and all foods were great quality except the steak in my opinion. I ordered the Ribeye and it was very mediocre. I was expecting bursting flavor & was very underwhelmed. The dessert made up for it, the apps were amazing, the service was great! I would go back but choose a different option!

Awesome experience great food great service great drinks. worth the wait of finally snagging a reservation! Try the house salad !

The food was fantastic. The atmosphere was amazing with the Christmas decorations, but the was wonderful. our server, Rebecca gave great advice and tips and the food she recommended was completely out of this world. I definitely recommend .

Ambiance: it was nicely decorated for the Valentine's Day holiday. But I would assume that if it removed that decor it would be pretty basic. Service: we had a server who was okay, not overall great but the reason of the help staff all were great. Main course did take a bit to come out but was a busy night Food: starters we had the lollipop lamb chops and they were amazing. Had this perfect tasting sauce. My husband also got fresh oysters, which were available in any amount which I thought was great considering he is the only one that likes them. the tomahawk steak was perfect. My husband and kids shared that. (One thing we did notice my kids were the only kids there. Not that the place wasn't kid friendly We just observed that.) I had the spicy porkchop and OMG it was absolutely delicious!!! After that I we were a bit disappointed in the desserts. We got the cheesecake and chocolate lava cake. Both were maybe a 4 out of 10. I feel they were not freshly made in house or something but out of a box. I wouldn't order dessert here again but I would come back a million times for everything else. It was def delicious and worth a visit

Five Stars for Sinners! What an incredible dining experience at Sinners in Point Pleasant! From the moment we walked in, I was struck by the sophisticated yet youthful vibe--think upscale lounge meets trendy city hot spot. The decor is chic and modern, with just the right amount of edge to keep things interesting. It's also the perfect size: not too big that it feels impersonal, and not too small that you feel cramped. We were a group of eight women, and we all agreed: this place is a vibe. The cocktails were phenomenal, especially the smoked old fashioned. Christopher, our server (who I can't recommend enough!), put on a full show tableside, lighting it on fire and making the moment feel really special. We shared a variety of appetizers, and while everything was great, the shrimp cocktail was the clear standout--fresh, perfectly chilled, and beautifully presented. I had the oysters, which were also excellent. For dinner, I went with the filet mignon, cooked medium rare, and it was absolute perfection. We ordered a bunch of sides for the table--mac and cheese, mushrooms, asparagus, creamed spinach--and every single one was delicious. Rich, flavorful, and clearly crafted with care. Now let me rave again about Christopher, our server. He wasn't just attentive--he anticipated our needs, made wonderful recommendations, and kept the evening flowing seamlessly. He was an absolute delight and elevated the entire experience. If you're lucky enough to get a reservation (and yes, make one--this place fills up fast!), ask for Christopher. You'll be glad you did. Highly recommend Sinners for a night out that's equal parts elegant, fun, and memorable.

We were lucky enough to get last minute reservations for dinner for 4 people on a Thursday night! We had to wait a few minutes for the table so we had some drinks at the bar while we waited. Service was excellent and the bar tenders were very attentive despite a full bar. The bar is large and has plenty of seating for drinking or dining. The lighting is dark but yet inviting. We were seated next to the window with a view of the water which was a plus for sunset. For appetizers we ordered 12 oysters that was absolutely delicious and perfectly shucked! They were fresh, salty, and tasty! For the main course we order two cowboy steaks rare and medium rare. The steaks were served with the bone and cooked to perfection! I am usually not a fan of steak sauces but their house steak sauce was flavorful and the perfect addition. The scallop risotto mushroom meal was probably the best cooked risotto I have had at a steakhouse! The scallops were meaty and delicious. The mahi mahi special was to die for! If you see it on special it's worth the order. The seafood might have been better the steak if that is possible to do! I will definitely be back and I can't try more items

Very festive decor but underwhelmed with experience. While the Christmas decor gets you in the mood, their Inability to properly manage reservations is both frustrating and unprofessional. In a nutshell...food was good, very limited menu, ok service, and outside the Christmas decor, place is overpacked and lacks ambiance. Not what I expected.

I've always heard good things, and I thought the food stood up to the reputation. The restaurant was packed on a Monday night, which was probably a good sign for what led to a delicious meal. I really enjoyed the roasted oysters topped with yummy breadcrumbs. My daughter enjoyed a sushi appetizer and wedge salad with blackened tuna that she claimed was delicious as well. Our other dinner partner enjoyed his halibut. I really loved the show-stopping, gigantic jumbo lump crab meat risotto. It was very filling, but super delicious. The food was rich and, in some ways, basic, but executed perfectly. I added some of the street corn and that really made things even better get this dish. You won't be disappointed. The atmosphere was busy, if not hectic. Our table was in the middle of the room, next to a large family with little kids. One was seven months old and the other was two. That seemed like a bit much for a dinner with these price points. It's not an inexpensive restaurant and certainly not a family-vibe Houlihan's. We had mixed feelings about the atmosphere, but I kind of thought it was cool--a really pretty building with some rustic charm.

We chose to sit in the enclosed veranda at the front of the restaurant; Amelia's is located on Ocean Ave. and has some beautiful views! We started with a few cocktails - my partner got the Lavender Martini, which she said was very good. I got the Pineapple Margarita, which was excellent! I saw meatballs on the menu - I always order meatballs when having Italian cuisine (Amelia's represents itself as '...a blend of old school Italian and contemporary continental cuisine..'. They were some of the best meatballs I've ever had. Amelia's blends pork, veal and beef for its meatballs - they're tender and seasoned perfectly! The marinara was excellent and there was a dollop of ricotta to stir into the sauce. It was an epic appetizer! For our entrees, I ordered Wild Caught Shrimp Oreganata with mixed vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes. The shrimp were butterflied and quickly grilled - they had a plump, tender interior with a grilled exterior, in a delicious sauce. The potatoes were very good, and while I'm not a big fan of the mixed vegetables, they were good. My partner ordered one of the specials - the Lobster Capelinni. - 6 oz. of lobster on top of angel hair pasta with a delicious tomato-brandy sauce! We couldn't believe how much lobster was on the pasta - it was tender and very tasty! After 2 excellent entrees, we decided to try the desserts. Unfortunately, that was a mistake. I ordered the Carrot Cake (one of my favorite desserts) and my partner ordered the Chocolate Cake, one of her favorite desserts! My 'carrot cake' wasn't a cake but a conglomeration of icing and thick layers of 'fudge-like' cake. Visions of a fluffy, rich cake with freshly grated carrots and 'warm spices' flew out the window! My partners chocolate cake was dry and not moist at all - I've had Duncan Hines chocolate cakes that tasted better!! While the desserts were a big disappointment, the meal was excellent and we will return to Amelia's on our next visit to Spring Lake.

Anything good about Amelia's was drowned out by a "Wall of Sound" aural experience that would have…read moredone Led Zeppelin proud. This was by far the loudest "fine dining" venue I've ever visited. I don't usually whip out sound meter apps in the middle of dinner, but the noise level here was so extraordinary that I was moved to check it out: Average sound level at our corner table in the main dining room was 83 db, with peaks to 89. That's a shout-to-be-heard sound level, equivalent to using a blow dryer or standing at the bar in a very loud nightclub. The table and conversation noise was exacerbated by a wall-mounted speaker that pumped out bassy, thumpy, club-style dance music that was completely inappropriate to the venue. Other than the noise: The table was set with dirty water glasses that had to be sent back. The service was polite but hectic. The server said, "I don't mean to rush you, but I want to get your order in before the large party next to you arrives." I guess it was considerate of him to anticipate a slowdown and want to get our orders in, but in a well-managed dining room this shouldn't have been an issue. He ran off with our dinner order before the one member of our party who wanted a cocktail had had a chance to order it -- she had to "collar" him later to put in the drink order. The food quality was mixed. One of our party thought the lobster bisque was very good, and all thought the fried calamari appetizer passable in terms of tenderness and flavor. I had the filet mignon. It was a good piece of steak, but cooked closer to medium-well than to the medium-rare I'd ordered. It was also a bit difficult to manage with the blunt table knife supplied - a steak knife would have helped. The accompanying spinach was lukewarm; I got the sense that the plate had "rested" a few minutes too long before being brought out to the table. Desserts were reasonably good, but not great. Total time spent was just about two hours, and the place showed definite signs that the staff were eager to close down and go home when we left at about 10:30. Mercifully, someone turned off the music.
