We were originally going to move forward with a different cleaning company. However, when I let Amanda know this, she said that she would be willing to do the same service for the same price as the other company, which was $190 for a regular cleaning for a 950 square foot 2 bed 2 bath apartment. The only difference was we were actually going to have to get the cleaning done 2 hrs. later since the other company was going to come at 1pm. I decided to move forward with Amanda since she seemed to have more higher rated reviews compared to the other company. The cleaners arrived about 10 mins. late. The customer service was a mixed bag. The place is cleaner than how we had it last, but they missed little details and didn't put things back where they were, or maybe even organize things a little better. However, they did change my dog's pee pad, which was nice. Update: They left before we were able to check the job and let them know our input. If we have to ask you to come back to improve something, we personally would rather let it be and move on to finding a different cleaning company. We appreciate the offer to come and fix it, but they still came back when we didn't agree to it. read more

Since the last cleaning, she was the second cleaner I've hired to clean my house. I really liked Amanda. She was very sweet and did a great job cleaning. However, I've had to search for other cleaners due to her inconsistency in communication. Sometimes she wouldn't respond to any of my messages. Other times she'd be so good about communicating, which were times when our schedules conflicted. She has only cleaned our house once, despite my multiple attempts to reach out to her to try to hire her again. Most attempts are met with non-response. read more

Amanda was amazing! She alone was able to deep clean my five bedroom two bathroom apartment in about three hours. She really went above and beyond my expectations. Amanda and her staff earn five stars for various reasons. First, Amanda answered my email immediately. Then, she quoted me a reasonable price. Third, they arrived on time; in fact, they were a few minutes early. Fourth, they worked immediately and did not stop until they were done. Lastly, as they were cleaning and organizing, they asked me if there was something else that I wanted or needed for them to do. Upon inspection of their job in the end, all I could say to them was, "Wow!" The next time I need home cleaning services, I will contact Amanda again. I am very sad to write this review as I was really excited to get my small 890sf house a deep clean before I give birth to my second child in less than a month. I started by emailing Amanda via Yelp. I inquired how much a small house my size would be for a monthly cleaning, just the kitchen, bathroom and living/ dining room. No bedrooms. She said $115 for monthly cleaning (sounds reasonable). For the first initial "deep cleaning" it would be between $160- $210 including the refrigerator and oven. (it seems like most cleaners want to do a standard "deep clean" first, ok fine this seems reasonable too). She arrives to my house on time and looks around, she notices that I have two bedrooms, I remind her that I do not need the bedrooms done. If she has time to vacuum the two bedrooms then great, but if not no big deal. She says that the deep clean includes windows washed on the inside and oven and refrigerator cleaning. I let her know that the oven and refrigerator are not necessary. So she now gives me a new price quote of $240 for deep cleaning and $135 for monthly. How does my quote go up to $240 and $135 when I took services off?? ( No oven and no refrigerator cleaning). I'm annoyed but at this point she's already there and I don't have time to keep doing this other cleaners. Obviously for the jacked up price I'm expecting a STELLAR DEEP CLEANING. I immediately Venmo her the $240, thank her and leave so she can get started (she had a second person with her for help too). The Outcome: She texts me 1.5 hrs later and says that she is done. I'm thinking wow that was really fast. I get home and it looks very "tidy". She organized my 3yr old's toys a bit, folded the blankets nicely on the couch etc. I go into my son's room and it was vacuumed but also tidy and organized. The bed was made his clothes were folded and top of dresser organized which looked very nice BUT again I told her that I did not want anything done in the bedrooms just a quick vacuum if she had time. My bedroom was the same bed made, organized and looked very good ( not what I asked for). It almost seemed as though she spent so much time in the bedrooms (which I did not want her doing) that she completely missed the reason why I hired her which was for the kitchen, bathroom and living/ dining room. Upon inspecting the "deep clean" in these areas that I paid a whopping $240 for it was anything but a deep clean, it was almost subpar for a regular cleaning. The window sills and windows were not clean, she didn't vacuum under my area rug, the brick in front of my fireplace was still dusty and dirty, the kitchen and bathroom floors were still dirty in some areas, the walls/ backsplash and outside of the refrigerator and oven were filthy still. I could go on and on but this post is already really long. It makes me wonder how she could think that she did a DEEP CLEAN on the areas that I asked. I'm seriously baffled and very disappointed how you can take $240 from somebody and call that subpar service a "deep cleaning". She texts me later asking how the service was. I told her I was disappointed and sent her pictures. She apologized and said she would come back. It was Wednesday and she couldn't come back until Saturday. At this point I'll take my 9 month pregnant self and do it myself. Giving two stars because she did offer to come back and did "tidy" up my house, although I was really wanting a CLEAN house. read more

For years my wife and I have searched for a Bay Area housecleaner who was reasonably priced, reliable, and brings care and attention to detail to their work. We are so relieved to have finally found Siqueira's House Cleaning. Amanda arrived on 24 hours notice and did a phenomenal job in transforming a messy apartment into a sparkling house we both look forward to coming home to. She is the only cleaner we have found who has, without asking, been willing to put away dishes and pans, tidy bathroom supplies, and essentially organize as she cleaned. This stands in stark contrast to the many cleaners we have cycled through who clean the house only as much as we have "pre-cleaned" it. This is all we had ever hoped for and we will definitely be recommending Amanda to all our friends.
