This was our second visit to Siren's. We planned our drive to Vegas so we could stop here for lunch. Again, we were incredibly wowed by our food. We split the portofino salad and the moretti panini. The roast beef was tender and juicy, the Moretti beer cheese sauce was rich and flavorful, and the caramelized onions tied it all together. So good. To top it off, they remembered us out-of-towners from our visit last month! Such nice people and delicious, creative food at low prices. You may not expect it in Kingman, but do yourself a favor and stop there on your way through. You won't regret it. read more

Sirens' is a fantastic classic sandwich shop. I highly recommend trying the pasta salad with your sandwich although the potato salad is also extremely good. Had a wonderful lunch on the way to the Grand Canyon. We were a Party of 4 and had a variety of sandwiches. Everyone raved about their choice. I had the Turkey panini with sprouts on the most delicious bread. Potato salad was very good as was the split pea and ham soup. This place is off the hook!!! Fresh food made from scratch!!! They have pizza nights where the pizza again, is made from scratch! They also have Gyro nights which also is totally fresh and tasty! I cannot say enough about this place. The food does take sometime to receive but that is due to the fact it is all made from scratch and takes time! The thin crust pizza they make on Thursdays (nights) is easily the best not only in Kingman but you will be hard put to find something better even in Vegas! In the old downtown of Kingman, located next door is a local brewery that was established 2 yrs ago. Had a hot panini with cheese made from the local beer. The waitress (Harmony) was a little too chatty, but we were the only customers in there and she looked really bored. My favorite place for adventurous food in Kingman. Owner and chef Carmella is always surprising me with food I didn't know I needed in my life. The menu is NEVER boring, and there's always one amazing choice that rises above the rest. I'ma notoriously picky eater, and I have difficulty trying new foods. Maybe it's the wine at the Cellar Door or the beer at Black Bridge Brewery (Sirens happily delivers to both downtown establishments), but I try the unique offerings at Sirens and wind up loving many of them. Bleu cheese isn't always my favorite, but the bleu cheese dip at Sirens got me hooked. Then, the Mac n Blue (baked mac n cheese with bleu cheese and bacon) sealed the deal. Candied basil topping a decadent carrot cake cupcake?... you bet! I had no idea an herb could be so addicting. For comfort food, Thursday's artisan pizza nights fit the bill... as well as the recurring artichoke dip and occasional bacon jam with baked brie. read more

A perfect oasis in the barren Arizona desert. If you're driving through on the way to las Vegas or Phoenix do yourself a favor and eat here rather than the fast food places clinging to the freeway. Service and atmosphere is very casual but the food is cheap for the quality of the ingredients. Had a gorgeous panini with the best ricotta I've had. Ever. The sides are pretty bland (potato salad and pasta salad) so not worth the calories. Dropped by to give this place a try. The daily special was lobster roll. OMG FANTASTIC! Large chunks of lobster on a fresh, simply grilled roll. They did not sauce, season or dress up the dish. Very simple and bursting with lobster flavor. I ate both halves! Very rich. A better tack would be to share it and sample some of their soups! Driving through western Arizona, we were dubious about finding a good place for lunch in Kingman. Yelp guided us to Sirens' Cafe, and it was a terrific stop. Sirens' is located on Kingman's historic main drag and is very convenient to I-40 and US93. It has a low key and comfortable atmosphere and seems to specialize on coffee, sandwiches and salads. We ordered a couple paninis, which were outstanding (try anything with the artichoke spread!). Service was attentive and exceptionally friendly. If I lived in Kingman, I'd be eating lunch here regularly. read more
