I called to make sure everything was going fine and they did assure me she was doing great [she did not like her nails cut] but I was not surprised about that at all. Horrible service. Why make us pay before we see what you did to our dog? Make us sign waivers because u know u are gonna mess up. My dog was there for like more than 6 hours. I kept calling. Wondering why it's taking so long. She seemed scared when I got her. Then a week later I noticed her hair had dried up blood in a ball by her ear and they cut deep into her ear!!!!!!! I was livid. Amazing place amazing staff!!! Personally I'm ashamed to say how long it has been since we last took our Lucas to get grooming. We had a horrific experience at another place and since then we only did grooming at home. My dog is very fussy and never let us cut his snout hair and paws, so needless to say we were extremely hesitant. I usually go to petco and they charge me $74 which includes the fanny and face shave, teddy bear cut, nail trim, blueberry facial (for the tears) and teeth brushing. I asked for the exact same thing here, minus the blueberry facial and was charged $65. $10 because he had a little patch of matting behind his ear and his bottom was matted. I explained that it was fine if she had to shave the back since I knew it was matted. I dropped him off at 12 and she said it would be 4 to 5 hours until he was ready to be picked up. I was shocked because at petco the max I've had to wait was 2 hours on a Saturday. But I wanted to give this place a try so I left him. Plus she said they call 30 minutes prior to the dog being finished. I called at 4:54pm because I was getting nervous that they didn't call me yet and on Yelp it said they close at 5:30pm. The lady said he wouldn't be ready for another 30 minutes. So I waited and at 5:11 they called and said he was already to be picked up. Which irritated me because I didn't want him to stay there longer than he had to. When I picked him up he looked so ugly. It's not what I asked for at all. She shaved him completely and it looks like he got a poodle hair cut. She said the hair was so matted she couldn't save anything which didn't make sense to me because when I take him to petco they have no trouble with his "matted" hair. I tipped $3 and was on my way. I didn't complain because I felt bad. One star is for the lady being nice and the other star is because he smelled good. read more
