    Chipotle Chicken Cavatappi

First time here and the food was delicious. I placed an order online and it was so easy to order and you can adjust what veggies you want or add extra. This was great for my picky eater that does not like mushrooms. It took about 10 to 15 minutes for the food to be ready. The restaurant was clean and spacious. We will definitely be back. We chose the small plate but we will go with the big size plate next time. We were not expecting it to be super small that was the only downfall, but now we know for next time.

I ordered online and picked it up - which was fast and easy. Join their rewards program and you'll get emails about any promos and discounts. I received an email about BFF - buy an entree for a best free and it's free so that's what i did - ordered two noodle dishes which is a good deal. (Meat not included in the promo.) When ordering online - you can really customize what you want (what type of meat and whether to remove any of the items). They also have two sizes - regular or small. For those calorie conscious eaters, it even tells you how many calories each item contains. I knocked off a star because the portion size for a regular is not alot. I can't imagine that a small would suffice for an adult. Note that each entree has a base price around $7.00 + and you select the protein which adds another $3.75 + depending on the meat to the price so it can really add up. The entree basically starts out being vegetarian since there is no meat. I wanted to try the Asian Noodles - so I selected Pad Thai (with scrambled egg, peanuts, cilantro, green onions and red napa cabbage) and Japanese pan noodles (with broccoli, mushrooms, carrots, cilantro and sesame seeds in sweet soy sauce). Japanese pan noodles was tasty - the sauce was a little too sweet for my taste but not bad. The pad thai noodles was slightly little rubbery and the hubby said it was a little spicy. Thus I kncked off one star. Both were generally tasty. I happened to have bought a Costco chicken so I added shredded chicken to my noodles for some protein. The BFF (best friend feast) promo allowed me to try this out making it a good deal - otherwise I'm not sure I would have bought this.

Chicken Noodle Soup (sorry I dug into it before taking a pic)

Looking for a good, quick chicken noodle Soup? This is where you should look. They have lots of pasta dishes made with simplicity, but something about the chicken noodle Soup is just amazing! Not like any of the similar chains. The broth is great, the chicken is REAL not the processed stuff and it just tastes like it was made fresh or at home. Service was kind of different that day because the POS went down, so they brought me my chicken noodle soup, chicken dumplings, and smart water anyways. I thought that was great! I still paid online because I don't like taking advantage. The FOH was very kind as well and appreciative. The restaurant is clean and when I went wasn't busy! Very family friendly and health conscious.

I visited this noodle place for lunch with my husband and daughter, and we ordered a kids' meal for her. As it was our first time dining in (we usually take out), no one informed us that we needed to grab her milk from the counter. When the food was brought to our table, the server asked if we needed anything else. I mentioned we needed the milk, but she told me to get it myself from the front counter. This response was incredibly frustrating, especially since I was sitting in a fetal position with extreme cramping and was visibly immobile. I slowly walked up to the counter to get the milk and kindly asked the same woman if I could adjust the tip I had left when we ordered. She insisted multiple times that she couldn't adjust the tip because it was on a credit card. I explained that I wanted to take the tip back because she couldn't even bring the milk when she asked if we needed anything. After insisting that I wouldn't leave until I got my tip back, she eventually gave it to me in cash. The lack of consideration and poor customer service were incredibly disappointing. I do not recommend this place if you're looking for a pleasant dining experience.

Penne Rosa w/ shrimp - It was good!

***3.5 Stars*** This is one of those spots that I've been passing by for years because: 1) I couldn't figure out what kind of product that they were actually trying to market, and 2) The Yelp reviews have always seemed to be a mixed bag. BUT... I finally took my chances and made my way over here. And you know what?! It was actually quite good. When I think of noodles, the first thing that usually comes to mind for me is soup noodles. You know, like ramen noodles or pho noodles. Maybe even spaghetti noodles. Long thin noodles. I mean, there's just so many different types of noodles. But, I don't usually think of pasta or mac and cheese first. I'm always leery of places that specialize in multiple cuisines, but I kind of like the noodle concept here. It's kind of unique. Different. Since it was my first time coming here, I decided to stick with something light and easy-ish; penne rosa with shrimp. Didn't really sound like the most exciting dish, but I wanted to play it safe. But what seemed to be "the safe" choice actually ended up being quite tasty. The employees were super nice and the inside was very clean. Didn't take too long before my order was ready. When my food arrived, it didn't "look" like much, but it actually tasted quite good. I really appreciated the fact that the pasta wasn't drowning in sauce. It came topped with shredded parmesan and there was actually a decent amount of shrimp in it too. I did feel like the sauce was lacking a tad in the flavor department, but some red chili flakes was able to help with that. The portion size was pretty generous for the price. I feel like for fast casual comfort food, this is actually a really convenient option. It wasn't anything super special, but it was good and that's what honestly really matters to me. Do I feel like I could have made this at home myself? Quite possibly. But, I could also make most of what I eat when I go out anyways so... ya know. For my first time visit, I'm pretty satisfied with my experience. I feel like the next time that I come here, I would definitely try one of their Asian inspired dishes. I'm curious to see how they'd execute them.

I liked their pickup system. They have a bot that takes your order when you call. It could not complete my order and I was transferred to a human but it was still cool. The curbside pickup was very convenient and smooth, the food was ready when they said it would be. I got the pad thai and butter noodles. I liked the pad thai had a lot of egg in it but was missing flavor. I have always liked their butter noodles and the seasoning.

Gross Potstickers (I had to fry in pan and that didn't help), but the soy sauce was good lol

3 stars overall. Do not order with protein - whether it is chicken, shrimp, meatballs, or the "chicken" potstickers! Since kids were not feeling well, and I was too exhausted to make chicken noodle soup from scratch (or driving over to Whole Foods) - so, last resort was getting it via DoorDash. Ordered through DoorDash and within 25 minutes, we received our "chicken noodle soup." I didn't feed any of the chicken to the kids - only gave them the broth, veggies, and noodles. The chicken was cut into squares - burnt on the outside and pink on the inside! Yikes!! Noodles were delicious and perfectly cooked (they gave a lot!), and the broth was tasty. My husband liked it too. FYI - The boiled chicken pot stickers were so gross - they dough/noodles were still uncooked and mushy, and the inside chicken mixture tasted definitely like frozen fake chicken; it was really bad. I actually fried them even longer in the fry pan with olive oil, and that didn't help one bit. Love that our kids have options for various noodles that they would actually eat (ie buttered noodles), and adults have a bigger variation of noodles. Will come back for only noodles, broth, or sauce, but nothing with protein!

I use to eat here a lot when I work nearby. This was the place to have a good lunch. I love eating there a lot. The service was FANTASTIC! I never had service that recommended to eat this and that. That is great service. I perhaps ate everything on the menu. I love noodles

I joined their rewards program and got a buy one get one free coupon, so I placed an order for the alfredo montamore with parmesan crusted chicken and the pesto cavatappi. It was so convenient to place an order online and skip the wait, plus they seem to have deals pretty often. The pesto cavatappi was buttery but it could have used a little more pesto flavor. The alfredo was so rich and creamy. Very flavorful and the parmesan crusted chicken was delicious.

I informed her that we were 1st timers and she said to take our time. We decided on the Calamari appetizer, the Nectarine Salad and Fungo Pizza to split. Calamari and Shrimp 5/5, lightly batter, extremely tasty Nectarine Salad 5/5, she had it split for us, Great flavor, dressing was perfect and the goat cheese was nice and creamy. Fungo Pizza 4/5, it was sliced in 1/4 so they were huge. We split them in two. The center was a little soft and chewy, outside crust was slightly charred and perfect. It had a minimal kick from the Italian Chilies. We drizzled the marinara from the calamari on top which cut down the heat. We had plenty of pizza to bring home. Lastly we order the Pistachio Cake on Special and the Limoncello cake to go to. Both were delicious and we couldn't decide on a favorite. It was a perfect Lunch/Dinner Date with my wife

I figured I'd go with the $13 one, why not? Then I quickly realized that the ordering system was a whole mess. It gave me the option to customize my sandwich, but some of the required fields didn't make any sense at all. For example, I don't like olives, but it required me to select olives. Then there were 2 separate sections for extra meat and extra ingredients, and those were required too, and both came with additional charges!!! I thought requiring customers to add extra ingredients and charging them extra because of that was totally ridiculous. If I don't want extra meat or extra ingredients, I should be able to leave those options blank and still place my order. But I couldn't proceed to place my order if I didn't select those. I ended up trying to go with the $17 option instead with minimal customization options. I eventually just placed the order, went to the store, and picked it up. As for the sandwich itself, it was pretty standard in size and the quality was decent, but there really wasn't much going on inside. It was basically just bread, meat, and cheese. There weren't even any vegetables! No lettuce whatsoever. I thought that was really weird for a sandwich to be very bare like this, especially given that the final total cost was $19 for a single sandwich from a small deli. I expected a lot more from a sandwich at that price! Again, the sandwich wasn't bad, but I didn't think it was worth $19.

Some bites I made with smoked salmon as well. Logistically, delivery worked out. But I actually chatted with Costco the Wed prior to confirm delivery since I hadn't gotten any kind of tracking info. (I had scheduled this to be delivered that Fri.) Costco ended up contacting Tsar Nicoulai for an update. Turns out they had me down for a delivery date of April 1st. Of course, we had to indulge in the bottomless mimosas, and they did not disappoint!!! Great flavors, a generous amount of champagne, and they kept them coming. Definitely worth the money!!! I'll absolutely be back to this location. Great food, great service, and bottomless mimosas--what more could I ask for?

We chose to sit at the bar since it was the first available. The restaurant is on the small/medium side and is pretty simple in terms of ambiance, but no complaints here. Service was friendly. I ordered the garlic noodles with shrimp which was really delicious! Very flavorful and quite generous with portions. I wasn't really feeling traditional brunch food like eggs/pancakes (though they do have that here too), and the noodles really hit the spot. I got an iced butterfly pea latte (lavender / floral flavor) which was alright, nothing to write home about but not terrible. My friend enjoyed the loco moco. Overall, I'm not very familiar with the eats in Pleasant Hill but this was a good place to get brunch. Only real downside is the wait, but I guess all brunch places everywhere are busy on weekend mornings lol.
