    Crispy Rice tuna

Small shack at the end of the cul de sac, super quick to find with easy parking. Our must have was the crispy rice topped with tuna, OMG all the flavors together were so amazing. Taro smoothie and spam masubi was also super yum!

Sindi's snack shack is always a go-to when coming to fletchers cove!! The boba is so delicious and there is a variety of options to get here. The musubi was delicious, the sauce on it was so good. Our friends order of spam musubi took like 30 mins, however the worker was so kind as to give us a free drink of choice. I will be coming back!! :)

    Seaweed chips were delicious.

According to the sign out front, this place used to be an actual garage to a residence. I could see that. Honestly, I never knew this small restaurant existed. But I am clearly in the minority: the place was absolutely jumping on a Saturday afternoon. You order at the counter and, even though there is a nice patio deck, every order is wrapped for takeout. I am a sucker for banh mi sandwiches and went with pork as my protein. The veggies were incredibly fresh and very colorful. The pork was flavorful. The bread was fresh but didn't wow me. It's a solid sandwich. It's also very long but not crazy wide. The menu is mostly Asian or Asian-influenced and has a lot of interesting options. I would absolutely give these guys another try.

This is the cold Asian noodle salad with tofu. It's fresh with lots of veggies and vegan with tofu.

This is a very small business with a great menu- breakfast, lunch, snacks and early dinner. Perfect for a beach picnic across the street at Fletchers Beach Park. Everything is super fresh and yummy with a good variety of options for vegetarian, vegan and omnivores.

    Spam misubi

Ordered a bahn mi, chicken katsu misubi, spam misubi, and a Thai milk tea with boba. The spam misubi is a classic--the type of seaweed wrap they used was a bit flimsy, and I missed the crisp bites I can take from other misubi I have, and the seaweed doesn't unravel from just one bite. I was a bit disappointed with how easily the two misubis fell apart. I still did enjoy the taste of both orders. I ordered 75% sweetness for my Thai milk tea and it was still way too sweet. I wish I did 25%. I def recommend ordering lower sweetness levels as a standard. The bahn mi was extremely lacking. It basically only had meat and no vegetables whatsoever. I would not order this again. If I were to swing by again before heading to the nearby beaches for a convenient bite, I would still order the misubi, but might ask them to wrap it twice over, or order a bowl instead. I would like to try the milk tea again at a lowered sweetness level.

Came across this place after going to the beach and it really hit the spot!! The bulgogi beef bowl was TOP TIER, I definitely recommend it. The flavors come together so well. The chicken katsu musubi was also yummy, the chicken was super crispy, but the ratio with the rice was a little off- would've liked more chicken than rice. We also got bulgogi kimchi quesadillas which tasted really good too! Maybe would've tried different meat next time because the flavor with the kimchi wasn't quite what I was expecting, but still really good. It's a takeout restaurant with small seating in the front. Everything seems freshly cooked and service is quite fast! The portions are a little small for the price, but because the food was so good, I can't complain!

Cute lil shake! We got the curry and kimchi cheese sandwich. Very filling and delicious. I love that the weather was nice enough for us to eat on the patio. However there wasn't many "snack" options but lots of food options

Being born and raised in Hawaii I was craving a good spam musubi. I ordered from here once and the spam musubi completely fell apart. I thought it was a one time thing as I took it home and ate it 15 min later. Today, I checked it as soon as I got to my car and it fell apart immediately. I asked the cashier who was super kind and friendly if they could rewrap which they did quickly. When I got home, it still fell apart and one of the spam musubis had a piece of spam cut as thin as a piece of paper. I couldn't believe someone would serve that and not just recut an appropriate size piece of spam lol! Besides that the middle was good. Will not order spam musubis here again but am willing to try other dishes in the far future.

Great food and drinks. Very fairly priced but keep in mind that this is a mostly take out shack so the seating is very limited.

Bad Thai tea boba. 2 times in a row it's been bad. This time it has a medicine/soap taste with a very watered down Thai tea taste.

It is located in Solana Beach , beautiful open setting with outdoor seating right next to gorgeous fountain. They have a nice size parking lot next to it. We got the Opera and Pistachio flavors and honestly it was really really good, both were super tasty, very quality. It had a creamy milky thick texture to it and it wasn't overly sweet like American ice cream but it was definitely sweet and delectable - fine dining / upscale dessert vibes. Of course this is top-tier gelato, with a rich and creamy consistency, bursting with flavor. The part that impressed me the most is their variety in flavors. They had many different great flavors to choose from with few that are rotating, so it's great to try new ones. They also have vegan options too. The employees are extremely friendly and assist with suggestions for flavor combinations. We have felt very welcomed and appreciated. Honestly this is the best gelato in Encinitas , Solana Beach and we highly recommend it!

This location in Solana Beach has picked up the standard and serves the same delicious gelato, albeit a smaller venue. We enjoyed three small gelato cones ($5.20 each) -- Opera (5/5), Coffee (4/5), and Chocolate (4/5) -- and sat outside -- there are no indoor tables. Service was very good. I'm happy that this Gelato 101 exists, and I wish Gelato 101 well with reopening in Encinitas.

Luckily after a little research, we found Tea Monks. The parking lot was packed on a Saturday afternoon so I thought we would be in for quite an adventure just to find parking. Fortunately we were able to find a spot fairly quickly. The line was out the door for Tea Monks which can only be a sign that there is deliciousness waiting for us through the front doors. The line moved quickly which was both a pro and a con. Since it was moving so fast, we would have to make a choice from all of the great options. I was torn between the cabana berry smoothie and the green apple slushie. Ultimately landed on the slushie and decided to add strawberry pearl. There are a few small stools to use while waiting but not much room other than that. Fortunately our drinks were up in a matter of minutes. The first sip was heavenly and hit the spot. I'm always skeptical ordering "green apple" because I'm scared that the apple flavor will fall flat but this one was perfect. I could taste the apple and the tartness was great. The strawberry pearl was a perfect addition. I'm so glad we decided to stop here before heading home.

To be honest, as I saw reviews come in for this location and their National City location, I became skeptical - many noted it to be mediocre, especially for the price. However, with everything being pricey, the work that goes into making these, and the quality of ingredients used, I think it is overall appropriately priced - the whole 4.5" cheesecakes are on the higher side, but the slices, which come from a what I believe is a 8" or 9" cheesecake, are reasonable (original was $7.50, matcha was $8.50). Both the matcha tirmaisu and the original from age slice were tasty and light. If I had to choose, I would get the original slice again. It was beautifully balanced, and once all defrosted, tasted like a cross between mousse, cheesecake, and the inside of cream puff, all sitting on top of a delicate cake crust. One last thing, just wanted to give a shout out to the male employee who helped us tonight! Wonderful customer service, taking the time to explain the products, and ensuring the highest quality of the products being delivered. We will be back! Can't wait!
