We are in the process of purchasing our first home. We were told we needed to order an inspection. I found SiteGuard Inspection services on Yelp. I read the reviews and they we're amazing this was on 2/17/25. I sent the information to my realtor and five minutes later I was receiving a call from Siteguard scheduling an appointment for Tuesday! Wow that was fast! Within 5 minutes of getting off the phone I was given the name of my inspector Brandy. Brandy sent me a text message introducing herself and telling me the next steps. The day of the inspection Brandy message me and tell me she is enroute to my property. When she arrived she told me to come to the property at 11:45. My husband met Brandy and he said she was very friendly and patient with him because he has a strong accent. They also threw in a free Termite inspection! read more

Nathan was professional, kind and incredibly thorough. He found even the smallest details, but also ensured us that nothing was earth shattering or disastrous. Being thorough and honest are key to a great home inspector. His report shares all of the required info, and he even goes above and beyond in sharing helpful info in the report, like air filter sizes. I would give a zero rating if I could. Please NEVER use them. Unless you want to be unreasonably harassed and threatened. I hired them in advance of a one year warranty expiration for my condo. They came out on a Friday (yesterday!) at 2pm. They finished by 4pm. It's then that I tried to pay but was told that I had a to do so online. I was told that they had credit card readers previously but it got too expensive for the business so they moved their payment system to an online platform. So I said fine I would use their payment system. I had it in my planner to do it this upcoming Monday because I work a lot of hours during the week and prefer not to take care of any bills on the weekend; like a typical, hard working American who wants to enjoy his weekend :) But boy was I not ready for the payment collection machine that is Siteguard. Over the next 24 hours, I received: 3 texts, 2 emails, 7 phone calls, and 4 voicemails requesting a payment. Let that settle in. That's between a Friday and Saturday. In less than 24 hours. On the weekend when I'm trying to catch up on sleep, grocery shop, and pick up my dry cleaning (with a few beverages and overly indulgent meals thrown in). And the worst part: The owner threatening that he would call the police and send me to collections via voicemail...for not paying on a Friday night/Saturday...when they're the one that didn't have a credit card machine to collect a payment on the spot. ***I work in finance and generally know how collections work. This is obviously A LIE to get me to pay ASAP. Unethical. Immoral. But likely effective to coerce other customers into paying according to their unreasonable timeline. And to make matters worse, I called the owner back and he said I was in violation of THEFT and and not making a timely payment??!!! What did I steal?? Which police agency would chase me down?? Which collections agency would be open on a Sunday to write, call, and threaten me to collect the $417 payment?? Annoyed, when I challenged him on this (how can you send someone to collections if it's one day after a service is rendered/on a weekend/NEVER notified me pre, during, post service rendered that a SAME DAY online payment was required "otherwise it would go to collections"), he said it was "irrelevant". Pretty convenient. Caught in a lie, but now switching topics to "more important matters" like how would I like to pay on the phone. I guess he got his wish bc I paid over the phone so I wouldn't ever have to deal with him/their company again. They say "only 1/10 satisfied customers will share about a positive experience but nearly all will share about a negative one". Sadly, I'm writing this review on a Saturday night at 9.30pm so you can avoid "police and collections" when not paying 24 hours after a home inspection. I know we might be heading into a recession, but does your company, Siteguard, need the revenue so bad that on a Friday-Saturday night, you needed to reach out 16 times? In a 24 hour period? And baselessly threaten collections and the police? I'm not even sure Tony Soprano would go to these lengths to collect a debt. If this company is this desperate, I would be wary of other corners they are cutting. And btw, the inspector used my bathroom and didn't wash his hands. And the kitchen was inspected next. Maybe I can hire a siteguard competitor to inspect the kitchen for...ugh I don't want to think about it. Lastly, I rarely write reviews unless I had a 10/10 or 1/10 experience. Frustrated that it had to be the latter, but buyer beware that you NEVER want to work with them if you can. read more

We were very impressed with the inspection performed by Nathan at SiteGuard. He actually did 2 inspections for us in a matter of a week. He was extremely thorough in every aspect and gave us a detailed oral report afterwards. A report was also sent to our computer. During the report he explained what was needed to be done to repair any problems, both DIY or what type of professional was needed to get the job(s) done. He informed us of what were necessary priorities, and what could be done in the future. He also explained why projects needed to be done and problems they could cause if not taken care of.
