First time having dinner at sixty vines. I've had their brunch and it's amazing. I've been to the dallas location for brunch. Ambiance was cute. Girls night out or date night vibes. Service was good. Our waitress constantly checked on us. Pizza was good with thin crust. The peppers on top was a good spicy. I'm surprised actually as most places say spicy but i usually get that mediocre jalapeño taste. This was the good Thai chili version. I actually would ask for extra sausage next time too. I like mine extra meaty. The pasta was okay. I probably would've tried something else. It's your typical pasta you can make yourself. The coffee dessert was too sweet for me. If you love coffee, caramel and sweets, order this! Def a sugar rush! The sticky toffee cake was amazing and had crunch to the edges. This was truly a memorable evening. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and seated immediately, since we had a reservation. Our waitress was one of the most kind, knowledgeable and truly outgoing servers we have had at any restaurant. Her name is Lujain and we can't wait to see her again next time. We order both a red and white wine flight, both were great, thanks to some advice from Lujain. We had time for only appetizers, but the Brussel sprouts, mushroom and leek dip and zucchini fries were savory and delicious. Next time we look forward to trying more wines and hopefully have enough room in our stomachs for the main entrees. Sixty vines always delights and never disappoints. So many great tasting wines to choose from (a wall of 60 wines on tap plus a nice collection of bottles and beers as well), plus so many wonderful shareable appetizers and entree items. Recently tried the hummus and pita. Such a great display in the rolling pin. Soft, warm pita baked in the brick oven flanked by 2 kinds of hummus... beet and edamame. I preferred one, my family the other... so good thing there's a choice. As a tip, if you're ordering for more than 2-3ppl then ask the server for extra pita upfront since they have to bake it and it can take a while. The burrata... oh wow... the burrata. Soft, creamy, velvety smooth mozzarella served on toasted bread with charred tomatoes and pesto. My only disappointment is that the ratio of bread to burrata is a bit off. Wish there was more than one piece of bread. But if you happen to order hummus, you can use pita. The service a waitstaff are awesome. Very attentive staff who were extremely knowledgeable about their wines. I'm a big fan of reds... and they have so many to choose from. I like that you can order small 2 oz tasters, create a sample flight of a few, and then go BIG with a larger pour of your fave. Great place for a date night or a meal shared with friends. Wonderful date night on Tuesday at 5pm in the outdoor patio near the cozy fireplace. Josie made excellent recommendations off the menu for us since it was our first time to eat dinner there. The gingerbread old fashion and rose cranberry gin cocktails were strong and flavorful. We had the rainbow trout with avocado slaw, mild spicy sausage pizza and berry cobbler with pistachio ice cream. Everything was fresh, and delicious. So, I have lived in DFW for nearly 13 years and have eaten at both Sixty Vines locations several times. Usually the experience is good, but this time it was over the top bad. I was in a group of 10 and we had a reservation at 7:30pm. Arrived early and noticed that the restaurant was usually busy on Saturday night. Checked in with the hostess and she explained that our table is ready but will be soon. Checked in again at 7:30, still not ready. Check in again at 7:40, still not ready but this time she gave a little attitude with her response. Finally at 7:51, 20 minutes after our original reservation we were seated. First, the table had no napkins and silverware, but I figured they would bring those with drinks. Waitress came over and began to tell us about the entire purpose of the restaurant after we told her we had dined there before, but hey I figured she was proud and wanted to talk her company. She then said let me get you you some waters and come back and for drink orders. She never came back with water. We had to flag down bus boys to get water. Finally at 8:12 she comes back to take drink orders, keep in mind, our reservation was 7:30. We give her the drink orders and decide that we should just order food as well. The food and drinks start to come out, and we still don't have napkins and silverware. I guess we have to eat with our hands and wipe our fingers on our shirts. We flag down another runner, because our waitress is non-existent, to get napkins and forks. At this moment, I had enough and went over to two guys who looked like managers. Explained our experience to them so far, and their response was "let us help you." No apology or nothing. Basically their version of helping us is sending over a free Brussels sprout appetizer. We ate our food and ordered dessert. The food is ok. It was 9:48 by the time we finished eating. It's not worth the bad service and long waits. At the end, when paying, the waitress notice that many of us were not leaving her a tip. She made a comment out loud to the group that "gratuity" is not included. She was basically tone deaf to the service that she gave us and shocked that we weren't tipping her. She then asked was everything ok and I just ignored her because I was pretty upset and didn't want to cause a scene. Sixty Vines, let me remind you that there are plenty of places in DFW to get wine, pasta, and pizza. Humble yourselves and treat all of your (not just select ones) customers with respect. The ambiance is fantastic - immediately relaxing, casual, while still being fancy. So you can feel like its a good evening while not feeling out of place. The music was great, just the right volume. The food is delicious - the appetisers were all great, the pasta was yummy, fresh, and flavourful. I wasn't a big fan of the pizza though - not hearty enough, nor generous on toppings. But the highlight of the evening was the citrus olive oil cake - definitely dont leave without trying this. Will be back to try other pastas and desserts. We went here for a birthday celebration. The food and drinks were mostly good, although there are no vegetarian Mains. Service was excellent, and atmosphere was lively. My main criticisms are that they lack substantial vegetarian entrees and they are overpriced. We had the Cheese Board without the meat. It was okay. I think it can be way better with the addition of jam, roasted pistachios, apricot, etc. The Margherita Pizza and Burrata were delicious, as were the cocktails and wines. We would certainly go back if they added more vegetarian dishes, or availed more vegetarian versions of existing ones. read more

This is a very happening place on Saturday evening. First off I recommend getting a reservation. We had one and really didn't have to wait long after it was scheduled. The vibe inside is so different and open. It is really loud and close quarters but still fun. Great people watching. So the wine menu is extensive. And they have tons on tap. They even have about 10 beers to offer those that aren't winos like I am. We ordered an appetizer of Burrata to start. This was good but needs to be tweaked a bit to be fabulous. First, the Burrata is wonderful but it is served with only one piece of bread. We needed triple the bread for all the heavenly cheese. The wood grilled ciabatta was delicious just need more of it. The charred Campari tomatoes had good flavor but were really cold and I think they would have been better had they been warmed up a bit so the full flavor could come through. I am being nit picky because this appetizer was really good. We ordered two pizzas for our entrees. We ordered the spicy sausage and the butcher. These were amazing!!! The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and nicely charred by wood fire and chewy on the inside. The toppings are fresh and flavorful and perfectly portioned for the crust. Have been here a few times....lunch, brunch, and dinner. I have never been disappointed, but had anyone else that has come with me. Last night my family showed up, impromptu, around about 9ish. We got a great table for 5 and had everything from apps, to salads, to pizza. Again, the food was spot on. My wife had the Fig and Prosciutto pizza, my daughter split a Caesar salad with a friend, and my cousin got some sides. I got the beet and herbed goat cheese salad. If you're not a fan of beets....or you don't know if you are......this might not be the salad for you. But....it's worth a try either way. I had it with chicken and this is in fact the second time I've ordered it. But I also had a piece of the Fig and Prosciutto pizza and it was freaking amazing, I don't drink wine, so those that do will really love this place. The main reason for this review is the service. Every time I've been there, the service had been great. Last night in particular, our server Justin was super helpful, personable, and took care of us well. In fact as the meal was ending, they ran out of tea, and instead of just pushing something else on me, he actually made a fresh batch. They have a lovely patio where you can enjoy one of their 60 wines on tap (for real) or other libations like craft beer and Bloody Mary's made with wine! A few girlfriends an I went for lunch and it was the perfect experience. We started with win, split a brunch pizza (yeah, my world has changed knowing that exists) and then my main meal was the Avocado Toast Benedict. It came with fruit and was cooked perfectly, the only thing that would have made it better (and unfortunately, unhealthier) was some breakfast potatoes. My friend and I shared the wagyu steak burger and the Asian salad. The burger came with melted cheddar cheese and caramelized onions. I will normally drown my burger with ketchup on every bite, but this was so delicious I ate it without ketchup so that i could enjoy the unique mixture of complex flavors. We had the roasted Brussel sprout appetizer with balsamic vinegar glaze and sesame seeds. It was good. We did miss your roasted cauliflower, which we had on our last visit and loved it. The service was exceptional. Gavin did a fantastic job recommending appetizers, serving drinks, answering question, taking group photos, delivering the meal, clearing the tables and he even brought my friend several beer samples to help him decide which he might like best. I have see sixty vines it's all over TikTok and I was super excited to try it. The aesthetics here are pretty cute. It gave me an upscale farm to market vibe. In regards to the food. I feel like you get your moneys worth.I ordered ricotta with bread and a coffee, cake dessert which will be pictured below. I didn't know it was possible to both overcook and undercook the same bowl of pasta but Sixty Vines has done it. I've been to this location a few times and was always happy ordering the Fregola (risotto style) and the Affogato - both of which are great and the Affogato is a must. This time I decided to change it up and order the Short Rib Pappardelle and man was it disappointing. There wasn't much flavor to the meat or the sauce other than salt. The texture of the pasta was off and many of the noodles were mushy and overcooked. But worst of all, about a fourth of the noodles were pretty undercooked. It looked as if the noodles had gotten stuck in clumps before they were dropped in water and they stayed in those clumps so lots of noodles were stuck together and failed to cook fully. When I bit into them, I could straight up see raw flour in the center. Giving this place two stars for the risotto and affogato, but it's hard for me to rate it higher considering they served both me and my friend (who ordered the same thing) undercooked pasta. read more
