Sizzler in Moreno Valley has always been a favorite place for us to eat on Sunday afternoons. On November 17, 2024 my family and several members of our church enjoyed a midday lunch. There were approximately 21 of us in all. I must say that Yanet, Perla, and Jackeline B. treated everyone with respect and professionalism. Whenever we dine at Sizzler Moreno Valley we always experience a warm welcoming atmosphere. All three ladies were kind, courteous, and friendly. This Sizzler location is represented well by these ladies. I want to truly commend them. I also spoke with Ramon, one of the store managers, to let him know how pleased we were with our food, service, ambiance, and the treatment we received while dinning. Ramon smiled (he's always very friendly and professional as well). I want to recommend that Yanet, Perla, and Jackeline B, as well Ramon, receive recognition and raises for jobs well done! They're always so nice when I come here with my mom. Honestly, you can't beat the price. I wish they used their walls for local artists instead of stock images. But that's me. The service is good, especially of you bring a senior parent lol! We actually have a lot of special requests for them and they smile and do it anyway. We got the salad bar, came to$20/person, my mom who has vision problems got some mushrooms but the mushrooms were not washed and a small spider came out on the table... We told the waitress she was nice and told the manager, but manager basically just said thanks for telling them, they'll rewash the mushrooms(they still had soil all over, they weren't washed to begin with), and he made a joke about spiders being protein that is not what you want to hear from an American restaurant. I told the waitress when she came back what happened and she said usually the other manager would offer us, but his guy is more "strict"... ?? Later he came back to tell us they rewashed the mushrooms, not that I care at this point, but my mom didn't like it and told him but he didn't seem to care, and proceed to ask my dad if he was happy, my dad is hard of hearing and didn't know what was happening but he still responded, "no" and then the manager said oh, he is affected by the"bad energy" ... What, who's bad energy?? Also The lady working the salad bar, has an attitude when anyone drops any food and made some not nice remark, can you really blame the customer for picking up food and some of it dropping? We decided to invite my parents and in laws who are both seniors out to dinner. And of course my spouse and kids. :) as always the employees were warm and kind but especially patient when it came time to place our order. Usually when you order for a bigger group, it tends to be a bit overwhelming because everyone wants to make sure their order is correct. But the employees at sizzlers were patient and attentive. A little sad because we came to celebrate my mother's birthday. When we ordered our food, we were actually rang up by the General Manager and I had asked if they would be able to help with a birthday cake. He said yes, so, shortly after we were seated I went to the car to get the cake, candles, and by random chance they would be unable to light the candles, a lighter. Our food was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Toward the end of our meal, we reminded our waitress that we had a cake that we brought but at the exact time a family friend brought a surprise cake to our table and I think our waitress thought that was the cake we brought (I can easily see the confusion). So as we were waiting for the cake we brought into the restaurant I think due to being short staffed they weren't able to light candles or even take it out of the Stater Bro box. My mom and I went to this Sizzler on Sunnymead Blvd. earlier today for Mother's day, and had a simply wonderful experience! This was primarily due to our server Manuel. Even thought it was obviously busy due to the holiday, Manuel was extremely efficient, personable, and making sure that everyone in his section was well taken care of. After sitting down, I got his attention and let him know that if he could remind the kitchen that I wanted my steak "Very rare," that would be appreciated. He came back and let me know a few minutes later that he made sure that the chefs know how I wanted my steak. (I was nervous because I work in the restaurant industry, and know that many of the cooks like to make everything well-done due to cultural differences). When I received my rib-eye, it was perfect! Mmmm. Not only did Manuel make sure that our meal was to our liking, he was the only server (within eye shot) that was hustling. His table maintenance was impeccable and we never had any stacks of old plates on the table (since we added the salad bar to our entrees as well). This is one of the busiest days of the year, and he clearly knew how to handle it. In fact, most of the time we noticed that he was the fastest walking servers there. He didn't spend a lot of time chit chatting with the guests because he knew that he has many guests to take care of, but at the same time he was super observant so all I needed to do to get his attention was just give him a look. First we had not been to Sizzler's in years. I took my mother and my aunt visiting from Tucson, Arizona. The portion size was perfect and food was delicious! Just spoke with the manager Ramon at Sizzlers about my Postmates order. No we all know Postmates delivery isn't cheap with all of their unnecessary fees, so when you order, you think you're paying to receive some good food. Well... not this time, no fault of Postmates. So, I ordered a Caesar salad with extra dressing. What I received was a salad with old wilted and brown salad leaves and NO dressing at all. The carrot cakes I ordered was tasty minus the completely burnt bottom. Ramons suggestion was to contact Postmates and let them know. Since when does Postmates prepare the food?! I do not recommend ordering delivery from sizzlers because you never know what they're going to get! read more

Every so often the family and I wax nostalgic and have the need to hit up Sizzler. It's definitely a not so guilty pleasure of ours. AYCE salad bar, Certified Angus Beef Cuts, and Unlimited Cheese Toast. Where can you go wrong? It's not fine dining by anyone's standards, but it's nice for a relatively cheap lunch or dinner where you can be waited on for a nice change of pace. Service is always good here, definitely earns repeat visits. The highlight of our most recent was our server Manuel. He was appeared to be the only server for the entire dining room, and yet he was very attentive to everyone, brought our food out quickly, was quick to refill drinks, and doing it all with a great attitude and a smile. His work ethic is unmatched. Definitely earned his gratuity many times over. Tip your servers! They earned it! read more

She has been my waitress for the past 17 years, and no matter the day or how busy they are she always greet u with her contagious laugh and beautiful smile.. her service is superb and the her attentiveness to her customers is more on point than waitress/ waiter I've experienced. Recent visit I. 7/5/19 Went for lunch and place wasn't very busy. What i have noticed the past few times we have gone is that they always change the server. We started out with a great server but 30 minutes into are meal we were given a different server who wasn't that great. Slow with refills, had to ask for napkins a few times before we got any, dirty plates left on table. Another problem keeping salad bar area filled. Had to wait for a few items & also had to wait for a staff member to mix the salad. If you offer a service make sure you have enough staff to do that job. Oh and my biggest pet peeve, bringing the tip tray to the table waaaaaay before we are ready to leave. Sorry but if you being my plate to the table & still see me eating don't bring me the damn tip tray !!!! read more

The shrimp and salad bar are wonderful. The shrimp had a crunchy coating and were succulent on the inside. The salad bar was stocked with a good variety of choices plus a side bar with tacos, chicken wings and spaghetti with sauces also a variety of soup choices.
