From the start Enrique the night manager was super friendly, helpful beyond words! I have a shoulder and leg injury. My wheelchair is cumbersome and heavy. He came and got it out of my van and me. Smiles all the time. Then his staff were so sweet, it was like having my own private assistances. Jackie Z, Zenaida,and Ashley went well beyond good service. Very attentive, willing to care for any need of mine. After the month I've had, this touched my heart so deeply! My husband is at a rehab facility, due to an amputation. First time in awhile that we came for something other than the salad bar and we were very happy What we got: The classic trio - the chicken was actually soft and tasted delicious with the ham? And cheese on it. Wasn't a big fan of the fried shrimp and I wish my uncle has gotten medium instead of medium well. Steak and grilled shrimp skewer with baked yam - delicious combination of food. Even the yam was delicious. Definitely could get this again. Steak and lobster with baked potato (+cheese, which was an extra charge but well worth it for us) - my favorite dish here but definitely the priciest option. Would get this again. Golden shrimp basket - delicious shrimp with sweet glaze on it and a sweet and spicy sauce. Also a winner. read more

After a grueling hockey game in Riverside. I decided to take my son this restaurant. We were greeted by Jesus who was very kind and accommodating. My son and I felt like steak but I was wanting to reminisce. The service was excellent, Brenda was on the ball whenever we needed her. The food was great and everything we needed it to be. We are not the type of family to complain or cause a scene; My brother got married today, so he decided to treat us to dinner at Sizzler. It was a party of 11 people, to be exact. As we waited for our food, my mom overheard one of the cooks tell a server to deliver one of the plates of food to the "cheap Mexican wedding." My mom tried to stay calm, but she was furious because it was my brother's special day. The front-of-house manager, whose name is Jesus, came to our table to deliver the food. As soon as he finished helping deliver the food, my mom pulled him aside and spoke to him about what she had heard. Jesus didn't seem to care about us or the situation. My brother overheard the whole thing and felt hurt, humiliated, and didn't say anything. The manager just left without saying a word not even sorry. At that point, we all lost our appetites. My brother didn't eat his food and wasn't enjoying his wedding dinner at all. No one seemed to care about us. The dedicated waitress who was supposed to take care of us didn't come back. We didn't get any refills or boxes for takeout. I had to walk to the server station and ask for boxes myself. The whole experience was ruined. We thought about leaving and taking our money elsewhere. As we were just getting ready to go, Jesus came to our table and asked sarcastically how we were doing. We were not okay at all. We considered asking for a refund and taking our business elsewhere, but instead, we kept calm and asked Jesus if he could do something for our table. His response was nonchalant. All we got in return was a condescending smile and a fake apology. It was clear from his face that he didn't care about customer satisfaction. He was just concerned about making money for the establishment. Unnecessary comments made by staff members should be kept to themselves. This wasn't an ordinary day; it was a special day, and we had spent a good amount of money ($500+) leaving upset, ignored, and with all our feelings hurt. To whoever is reading this, can you imagine how you would feel if you were in our shoes? read more

I've visited this specific establishment several times but on Sunday, June 29th at around 7-8pm it was really special. We often choose to be secluded because of our two year old toddler, so we picked the table furthest from the entrance. We were met by Perla, who quickly made friends with my toddler and made us feel extremely welcome. As many parents know, a not so happy toddler can make for an unfortunate dining experience but Perla was so attentive to him that it truly set the tone for the entire visit and that's due to her! Absolute class and professionalism. We heard a table behind us was having some issues, but we could not understand why as Perla was going above and beyond for us. Nevertheless, she had to leave and was replaced by another wonderful young lady. Please excuse my brain as I don't recall her name, but she filled in masterfully. The food was great and we got to take home some leftovers. Even after Perla left, she still came back and checked on us. This type of customer service has earned you a fan for life.
