This is the Sizzler I used to go to as a kid. It used to scream 80s with its pale blue booth upholstery. After the remodel, they became a completely different restaurant. In a good way. Those yeast rolls... holy crap those yeast rolls. Sometimes we go there just for the those. I never had any complaints about the food. Every once in awhile they might mix up our sides or something, but that's understandable with cooks that are pumping out food super fast for a line of people out the door. read more

I wanted to have a great dinner with my Nephews and they recommend the Murrieta Sizzler. This was an amazing dining experience. We were welcomed by a friendly staff, the atmosphere was so relaxing and enjoyable, the huge salad bar was fresh along with being loaded across the board and my steak was delicious while being cooked exactly as ordered. The desert bar had variety and were like homemade deserts (warm apple crisp with ice cream)...so good. I was expected it to be nice , but I was totally impressed across the board. I find the Murrieta Sizzler to be the worse food in the world. The steaks are extremely high priced and chewy. The veggies aren't cooked well, and they give you little for my money. It is better to go to Outback or a Fancy Steakhouse, rather than going to this high-priced dump!! Now, if you want a great Sizzler, go into San Diego County in Kearny Mesa. At that Sizzler, for lunch you get a main course, baked potato or veggies and the salad bar is included as well, along with a drink of your choice. The food is outstanding! This lunch only cost me $8.99. The same lunch at our Murrieta Sizzler would cost over $15.00, BUT W/OUT the salad bar included. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! And at Murrieta, no matter what you'd pay, the FOOD IS PITIFUL!! read more

I've been eating at the Soup Plantation once a week. However the food at the Sizzler is much better. Since they are the same price roughly I'll now be eating at the Sizzler. There are a couple of gotcha's. One, if you ask for the senior discount on the salad bar during lunch it will cost you $2 more! I really don't understand that but ok. Then there is the problem of the waitresses removing your plates the second you get up. They took my food away before I could finish getting everything on it. With Sizzler, you generally know what your getting. Enough food for two more meals at home and a wide selection. But not all Sizzlers are created equal. The steaks at this Sizzler had a great flavor and were very tender. The service was 10+. I love the newly renovated Sizzler. The food is ok and the portions are large but what I like the most is the salad bar. It is always well stocked and the selection is good. They have soups, onion rings and even hot wings. If you are starving, the price can't be beat. Come early though coz it tends to get packed and usually with senior citizens. :) read more

Haven't been to a sizzlers in over a decade. Let just say we were all surprised and thoroughly impressed! My bf got the steak and pasta, they cooked it how he wanted it (rare) and my 5 yr old got the kids steak meal and fries. ..man oh man those fries are amazing! I got the salad bar..which as all the previous yelpers before me have said, is definitely a meal within itself. I always have a 6oz sirloin steak with baked potato and add a salad bar. I have been in other Sizzlers locations, but so far, this location is my favorite. The manager here must know what he/her doing because the customers services at the front are always nice. The food, OMG, so fresh. The salad bar are always fill with lots of hot & fresh items. For the price that you pay for the all you can eat salad bar, you get more what you pay. The steak here are ever so juicy, one order isn't enough for me. Count me in at this place for the next time in Murrietta. read more

Very clean and the salad bar is refrished several times when I ate there. I have been to several sizzlers where I used to live in OC, thats the reason I stopped because the salad bars were never fresh and the inside was dirty, not to mention the food was terrible. But we were driving in murrieta and very hungry and there were lines everywhere this sunday. So we settled for the sizzler and we were very happy we did!! The food was terrific and the service was awesome. Everyone there was so nice and this was the first sizzler salad bar that was so eyecatching, fresh and clean. This is my go to restaurants on Sunday's with my family! I've been to many Sizzler's all over Southern California but none have ever been as memorable as the Sizzler in Murrieta. I love it here! On Saturday visited for dinner. My friend and I got the salad bar. As we were making our plates, we notice a man in the restaurant with two dogs, one small, the other mid-sized, but they were NOT service dogs. Both dogs were eating food which had fallen On the floor. We commented to each other that they should not allow pets inside. As we were seated eating, approximately 30 minutes later we saw the man walk out with the dogs (after he finished eating). I also asked one of the employees servicing the salad bar if there were any lids for the soups (they were completely exposed and anything could've fallen into the pots), she just shook her head "No". After we were done eating, we went home, and later that evening I had two small bumps appear on my boob. The next morning my arms, legs, back, buttocks, hand, and legs had flee bites. I have since emailed Corporate to let them know and I'm waiting for a response. Needless to say, I will NOT be going back and should have left immediately after seeing the dogs as I prefer NOT to eat with animals, especially ones which looked unkempt! read more
