You know it's party time when we goin' to sizzla! This was my first visit to Sizzler since the pandemic and I was pleasantly surprised. Each booth is separated by a plastic barrier and parties are seated separately if possible. Additionally, the salad bar was being cleaned quite frequently so that is a plus. I ordered the steak and unlimited shrimp! If you're going this route make sure you take advantage of the unlimited shrimp or else it is not worth it. Keep those shrimpys coming! We also ordered the unlimited salad bar. The salad bar includes salads, veggies, tacos, nachos, spaghetti, and more! Oh, I gotta mention the free texas toast which is always a signature Sizzler item and delicious. Lastly, you can get ice cream or frozen yogurt as well. They don't have ice cream cones anymore so you have to use a cup. The service was standard, they will check in with you and make sure you have everything you need. Sizzler isn't fine dining by any means, but rather a place that is quick, inexpensive and consistent with the product they serve. My one complaint is the meat. Yesterday we ordered an 8 oz steak (picture included, no way that's 8 oz) and a burger. Both were supposed to be medium rare and they both came out well done. Why even ask how to prepare it? We made a comment to the server and he just walked away. The salad bar is always good. They're pretty good about keeping it filled. I'm a huge fan of their ranch dressing. This place needs new management. Some one to over look the place and make sure things are up to par. Went Jan 28,2020 for Grandaughter's birthday. Big mistake, it was kinda empty..like the salad bar area was. It was like scraping the bottom of all the salad containers. No one was refilling it or cleaning around the area. One of the soup containers, the lid was in the soup.We got unlimited salad, no extra plates, my husband got unlimited shrimp.No one came around. I had to go request plates and shrimp from the cashier. Tables around us were not cleared off. It was a bad experience, food wise and unkept place. Nothing like the Santa Clara one. Sizzler, what happened?! Did you get a new manager? I did not get any cheesy bread! Where did the cheesy bread go? All we got were dinner rolls - very upsetting. Also, they now have a very very strict 1 time trip to the salad bar rule in place. Sigh. On a better note, my steak was the best I've had from Sizzler in a long time. It was actually soft and tender! My first time at sizzler was a confusing but good experience. The food was good I ordered the steak, unlimited shrimp, and loaded potato(1.99 more) it was about $25 for one plate. I also asked for a strawberry lemonade($4.99). I wanted to get the unlimited salad bar but it was almost $20 so I didn't end up paying for it. When going inside you follow a sign and you wait in line and look at the menu on the wall. When it's your turn you order your food with the cashier. They gave me a cup and 3 receipts. The confusing part was finding a seat there was so many people it was hard to find a place to eat :( . But luckily some family had left and it was cleaned. The waiters see you waiting and they take one of your receipts and write down a number on it. After 15mins waiting I got my food and I had to ask for my strawberry lemonade and the waiter went to get it and it tasted good. Our server did not come to check on us once we had to flag her down every time, every time we asked for something she looked so bothered, and overall just had a horrible attitude. It's good .The salad bar has lots of fresh fruit and produce, kale salad and nuts plus three soups that are actually not over salted! The price point is getting a little high. The fried shrimp steak combination is "same as it ever was" good! The odd thing is it keeps getting more and more Self Service! Not sure why you need a waiter can you can just get your own bread and plate which is all the wait service really offers now. Everything else is elf service It's like Burger Pit But in our Area there are only four sizzlers left that I know of. I let my aunt pick an American place for dinner and boy was it a bad decision. Nothing against any of the servers or staff, they were all great. The food just isn't really good lol. I should've walked out when I saw that you order at the counter like a fast food restaurant.. After we ordered we sat down with our "ticket" so they could bring our food. We were brought complementary bread. The all you can eat salad bar was decent. The sides were decent. Baked potato was good and the fried shrimp was kinda like ones you'd get at buffets. I used to work for a sizzler ages ago, and I am still in good service and have current servsafe certification. First thing, salad bar was improperly refilled, so cross-contamination. Second, salad bar cold items were not cold, soups not hot, beets were bad, new items were places on top of old items. It's obvious it is under new ownership or management, but the staff was either clueless or careless to proper food safety procedure. I've been to this Sizzler location a few times. Each time I've had a satisfying meal and great service! My go to item on the menu is the Salad Bar and/or the Steak & Unlimited Shrimp! The Salad Bar is all-you-eat and is a great value! The Steak & Unlimited Shrimp is pretty good! If you get it with a drink and upgrade from a 6 oz to an 8 oz steak, you're tab will approach $30. I decided to order sizzler for my mom for Mother's Day bc I couldn't be with her and we usually do steak dinner. I always remembered them having good steaks so I ordered doordash at 6-610. Latest time of arrival 84 minutes. It's is 748 and my door dasher is still waiting. I called they don't pick up. My mother is asking how long because she's hungry. I get it's Mother's Day but they aren't to the public. Almost two hours to get the food done is ridiculous!!! I will be calling the corporate office. First of all let me start by saying the staff is exceptional and trying very very hard to keep customers happy. This review is more about Sizzler the restaurant itself. Restaurant had a soft remodel but should have had a major remodel with an open plan. We reached at 7:30 PM the salad bar was some what empty and they were out of most of the items including Buffalo wings. Menu is still somewhat from the 90's and needs to be changed. It was 5 of us, of which 4 of us ordered Steak dinner and all the steaks were not done as ordered. We sent 2 back to get them re-done. I think Sizzler owners need to come up with a fresh look and a fresh menu to keep doors open, specially in this area. read more

My husband, being from the Midwest, had never been to a Sizzler so for date night, I decided to take him for dinner. Haha, He got the streak and fried shrimp. For $2 more you can also get unlimited shrimp. The steak was ok - cooked more like a medium than a medium rare like he asked for. He liked the fried shrimp more, which was crispy. And he got a loaded baked potato. It was a little extra to make it loaded and it came with bacon, onions, butter, sour cream, and cheese. I opted for the unlimited salad bar and added some steak as a topper. For $3, I guess I shouldn't complain but the steak was tiny pieces and looked nothing like the ad. I probably wouldn't get it again, as the salad bar actually comes with meat. They have fried chicken wings, and ground beef for tacos/nachos and sliced beef for fajitas. The wings were decent. I also enjoyed the other hot food - spaghetti and mac n cheese. It wasn't the best I had but for Sizzler, it was good. I also tried a variety of their prepared salads - my fav was the spinach, strawberry and blueberry one. I also didn't mind the kale one and the potato salad. For the soup - they had a veggie minestrone, which tasted like tomato bisque with some added veggies, and clam chowder, which was creamy and yummy. I ended the night with jello (which I haven't had for years) and fruit (cantaloupe, pineapple and honeydew), Unfortunately the ice cream machine was down when we went. I hope it comes back soon. Well not the best service we received coming here. From being seated we were never told we had to self serve our drinks we sat and waited about 15 mins till I got up and asked where our drinks are for our waiter to now tell us they were self serve. The cheese bread was not unlimited and it wasn't even cheese it was more like garlic bread tasted like its been sitting in the basket basket a while then as we continue to wait my son felt his back wet so he got up from the booth to check and we notice he had sat in throw up from the previous people who sat there the most disgusting thing ever I told the waiter and she looked at us like my son was the one who threw up and sat on it she just wiped it down saying there's nothing there. Awesome service! Our waiter was super nice and helped us out a lot! We got a couple of steaks and my favorite was the New York. It had more flavor than the sirloin that we tried and it was more smoked/ seared and I loved it! I got a medium New York and I would definitely come back just for that. We also got the all you can eat salad bar and it was worth the price. The salad bar comes with all sorts of options from different types of salad to desserts to tacos and Mac and cheese. I kid you not when I say that this is my first time ever saying "It was like I was eating cardboard". Actually, I was probably better off eating cardboard, it probably would've tasted juicier with some type of dressing than that hockey puck did. I've never had a burger that bad, + let me tell you, I'm not that hard to please when it comes to burgers, but this was a sin to mankind. It was like someone overcooked the patty, put it out in the hot sun to dry, then put it in a tortilla press between 2 towels + pressed it using the mighty power of Hercules. I could've took that patty with me to the car wash to wash my car + then dried my car with it. I have NEVER had a piece of meat that dried up in my life. I would have rather had a burger from McDonald's or better yet Jack in the Box. I literally had to wash it down with my drink every couple of bites. Guess what though?? Pretty Ate works here. She and her (un)official Kuyas who've since left for greener pastures have been treating our family good since my brother and I were in high-chairs. The prices have changed, our bellies have grown, but my default order has always been the same: "Steak & All-You-Can-Eat Shrimp" is what they used to call it. It was probably here that me and bro asked our parents about the whole All-You-Can-Eat concept: Can we just live here and eat shrimp all day? BYE BYE Sizzlers, Hello Red Lobster! We've been coming here for YEARS. We always come in a big group and spend hundreds of dollars on the steak, shrimp, ribs you name it! We never had a real problem until yesterday. When I asked to take my food to go, the lady said they no longer offer boxes for to go but only for take out. She said she can only give me foil. WTF??? So I got foil to put my food to go...how ghetto and inconvenient is that??? I packed my steak in one foil. I packed my shrimp in another. I was trying to pack my chicken from the salad bar and the waitress comes RUNNING over to me and tells me I cannot take it to go WTF??? She takes my foil away too!!! WOW!!!!!!!!!!! I spent over $65 on three entrees and you're gonna tell me I can't take my chicken wings to go??? WOWWWWWWW. I knew they were onto me. The manager kept on walking pass my table and asked if I wanted a refill and comes back again and ask if we want a refill on the water too. When taking our order he said what kind of drinks would you like, making it seem like the drinks were included.
