Meh... I've dined here a few times over the years since this restaurant opened, and personally I really can't get overly excited about the place. The steaks are lacking the flavor and texture I enjoy in a steak. I stopped here yesterday because the people I was meeting wanted to eat here. The place has a nice look and feel as you walk in, a very comfortable feel. The staff was friendly and attentive. I decided to try the ribeye, and the steak was just as uninspiring as it had been in my past visits. Don't get me won't, it's not horrible, it just leaves me wishing I'd chosen somewhere else to have a steak. The one positive is the salad bar. It's one of the better salad bars in the area, and my rating would be considerably lower without it. Overall I would come back for the salad bar, however I'll have my steaks elsewhere. read more

Primarily for the unrefined palate that values quantity over quality. Food is greased and "cheesed" up to compensate for the lack of flavor . It'll still have a following since it's in that class of cuisines (like Tex mex) where shoddy is compensated by kitschy Americana and extra ranch and cheese on everything. On the plus aide the food is "safe" and predictable , service is with a smile and the place e gets points for cleanliness probably a place to take little kids or your granny for a quick bite that's not too heavy on the wallet. read more

Arrived early to try and beat the dinner rush. Service was slow at first but improved as the dinning area filled up. Food choices were pretty standard for Sizzler. The marinara sauce with meatballs was missing the meatballs. Someone must have taken all the meatballs before I arrived. Staff was very polite and friendly. Lots of street parking as well as a parking lot. Located close to nice hotels. I walked from Holiday Inn rather then drove because it is so close. We went there the other night with out of town guests, service was great, salad bar was excellent with several new items! Restaurant was clean, great experience overall. We've come to this Sizzlers several times and have always hade a good experience, prices are a bit higher but when you consider everything you get it's still a great value, plus you can keep going back for items you really like. Important to me is the Hugh number of choices in the Salad Bar, I'm trying to eat more Vegetarian and use less Salt in my diet, easy to do here! If I could give Sizzler a star rating of 0, I would. My family went to Sizzler for dinner last night and my wife had ordered me a steak to go well done. When she got it home, it was so rare it was almost raw. I refused to eat it. My wife had called sizzler today to see about getting the cooks screw up rectified and they refused to take care of the problem. If a cook can not tell the difference between raw and well done then he or she is in the wrong line of work. Also a restaurant manager is responsible for their employees and their screw ups. And the manager refused to take care of their cooks mess up. It used to be that my family and I would eat at sizzler more often than not, but after this mess up, we will not be returning to sizzler at all. This is not the first time we had problems with sizzler. We will be finding a new steak house to frequent. I would definitely not recommend eating at sizzler anymore. read more

Our waitress was wonderful, very respectful, she answered all our questions. Her name is Reyna. Its people you encounter when you're enjoying a night out, that makes that time even more special. My husband and I just recently started to come to Sizzlers, but our first time was last year while going through Albuquerque. I would go back to Sizzlers, for the wonderful food, but Reyna is an asset to sizzlers and we are looking forward to going back. I went to Sizzler's yesterday for Father's day. It was extremely busy. Our server Joanna was great! She was polite, quick, and attentive. My family and I always drive out to Turlock (30 mins out of town) to this Sizzler location, even though there is a Sizzler located in our hometown, because we have always had a pleasant experience in the consistency in how our steaks are correctly cooked. Customer service experience has always been positive with every visit, especially w/Vanessa Castro (server). Because of our overall positive experience at the Sizzler Turlock location, not once have we thought about returning to our hometown's Sizzler location. read more

When coworkers want to go out to eat Sizzler is not my first choice, but they like it. Fortunately for me they do have a salad bar and chicken. It is reasonably priced for a buffet. If you like buffets and meat, Sizzler fits the bill. read more

My mother decided to take my wife and I here for dinner and holy crap did we regret it. For starters the woman that took our order at the register had an issue and had to reenter our order into the register. On the surface, this mistake doesn't seem like a big deal, but this little accident started a chain reaction of poor customer service. It's also important to note that the woman at the register asked my wife what she would like and my wife order a shrimp plate with the salad bar. The woman said okay and then asked if anyone else in our party wanted the salad bar as well. We all declined, except, of course, my wife. Once we were shown to our table, we were told that we could get our salad bar and our drink order was taken. My wife got up and went and loaded up at the salad bar. When she returned she began to eat her salad as she fended me off as I attempted to steal her salad toppings. All of a sudden the waitress comes over to us and asks my wife what she was doing with a salad. My wife said that she ordered the salad bar. The waitress told us that it was not on our receipt and that she should not have had the salad bar. The waitress went off to talk to the manager. She came back and said that nobody heard us order the salad bar and that my wife should not have taken it without paying for it. I asked to speak to her manager. When I spoke to the manager, he began with the customer is always wrong attitude, but he reversed course when I told him that his employee accused my wife of theft. I asked him if he would appreciate someone accusing his wife of the same thing. He of course said no. After a little more back and forth the manager decided to give us the salad bar for free. (We weren't hoping for this by the way. We offered to pay before the waitress told my wife she stole it.) Next, our food came out. Everyone was brought their order except me. I ordered a steak with steamed brocoli on the side. About 5 minutes after everyone else, I was brought a cheeseburger and fries. I told the waitress that this wasn't what I ordered. She said it's what the receipt said, but when she checked... guess what??? It said I ordered steak and steamed brocoli. Our waitress then walked off in a huff to correct the order. Literally 4-5 mintues later, she brought me a steak. She forgot the brocoli, but that was brought out to me after I asked another waitress for it. When our waitress did bring the steamed brocoli, it was raw. The food was forgettable. Flavors were on the salty side and not very appealing. The services was terrible. Maybe a bad day, maybe not, but if you read my other reviews you should be able to tell that customer service is a big deal to me. We're not going to be visiting again. read more

Lunch or dinner here always hits the spot. My steak was cooked perfectly and the buffet was on point as usual. Mayra our server was exceptional. My critique of waitresses focuses more on if they are genuinely nice and carry an energy of I love my job. Coming to check my table every two minutes means nothing if you have a hard time smiling. This place was good, had decided to go here with the wife because we were in the area, ordered the lobster steak meal. The lobster was really good the steak was also cooked to my likings the mashed potatoes had a weird consistency which I really didn't care for the Texas bread was good. The service was whatever had to locate a server multiple times to get a couple of items not found on the table like A1.
