Good lunch stop. Started with the brussel sprouts. The were real good, had a good mix of balsamic, bacon and spice. The salmon salad was ok. It had a good char but the salmon was on the dry side. Of course great beer selection.

The Steelie Brown Ale from Skagit River Brewing.

I've been to Skagit River Brewery before but I believe they were at a different location but that was years ago. It was nice to return to it however and experience it once again. For my visit to this brewery the beer I had was the Steelie Brown Ale. This was a pretty good brown ale for sure. Flavor highlights with this beer are malty, biscuity, sweet and smoky. The beer is also fairly rich. It was pleasant to get a brown ale again as they are somewhat of an infrequent beer type for me and when I do get them the return is typically a pleasant one. And that is no exception to the Steelie Brown!

Love stopping here when driving down i5. We are able to sit outside with our dogs, rain or shine e (though there are no heaters outside so bring a jacket). Food is really good for a brewery. I got the club, and the turkey was really moist.

10/10 recommend! We had the kid's chicken strip, jalapeño burger & Reuben w/ amazing horseradish slaw. We stopped in for lunch on a Sunday, good time to come! Not too busy. Quick service. Everything was fresh and delicious! The ambiance is relaxed, industrial. Small tables, longer/bigger group & booth seating available. You can also reserve upstairs for a group event.

Whether you're a longtime patron or a recent visitor, Skagit River Brewery warrants a visit. The food quality was superb. Our experience was overwhelmingly positive. Ash enjoyed clam chowder, Mak devoured loaded brisket fries, and I delighted in a brisket melt. We concluded our meal feeling gratified. Service exceeded expectations, very attentive. Love the atmosphere very welcoming.

This place was AMAZING. The food was delicious, fresh, and the vibes were so fun. Super cute decor and great branding! Everything we ordered we loved. (Pizza, cheese curds, and wings) We had Autumn as our server and she was wonderful. Attentive, knowledgeable (even though she recently started) and very personable. This place is a must if you are in the area! We will definitely be back.

Super excited to try this spot!! So far so great!!

First, our server Autumn was absolutely amazing!! She deserves a raise- helpful, personable and absolutely professional. The food was awesome too!! We had cheese curds to start and then wings and pizza- we even took a growler of porter home with us for my husband. If ever we are in this town again, we will stop by!!

The patio faces one of the main streets so there was lots of good people watching. I ordered a beer flight and was very satisfied with all four of my selections: Prickly Pear Kolsch - it was creamy and easy to drink, bursting with prickly pear flavor; just the right amount of tart and sweet. Lightly Buzzed Honey Lavender Blonde - my favorite of the flight; it was very hoppy but light and refreshing and well balanced by intense lavender flavor and a smooth honey finish. Get it! You won't regret it. High Five Hefe - lighter/less hazy and more hoppy than most hefes it made for a unique and complimentary beer on my flight. Pommeroys Citra Pale Ale - a perfect West Coast IPA. To eat, my pup got the Lucky Dog hamburger (which the chef pre-cut) and loved it! He chowed down in less than a minute. And I got the Mac & Cheese Burger (sub a veggie patty) with the Garlic Fries. It was a very indulgent meal to say the least. The burger was loaded with so much Mac & Cheese that I couldn't even put the top bun on it and pick it up. lol I had to knife and fork the whole thing which was totally worth it. The Mac is a classic home style recipe (think Stouffers but better). Their fries are shoestring and super crispy and salty. And they loaded those up with an amazing garlic aioli and Parmesan. I got a side of their house-made curry aioli and was obsessed with it. Every fry that didn't have sauce or parm got a dip in that deliciousness and I added it to quite a few of the burger bites too. All in all, a great brewpub that I look forward to returning to in the future!

Our server was Rainey, she was awesome, very attentive, and came to our table right away to take our order. The atmosphere at Temperate Habits is very nice, there is outside seating but we sat inside due to the bright evening sun. Our meals took quite a while to arrive, I think we were at the tail end of the dinner rush and my guess is they have a small kitchen. My classic cheeseburger was about the most generic, predictable, and utterly boring burger I could imagine, and for $17 I would certainly not return for that or the mundane shoestring fries. The burger patty, bun, and fries were all non creative and the there was nothing even the slightest bit unique about my burger, in fact I swear it is the exact same burger that the Skagit River Brewery serves just around the corner. The surprise entree was the Crab and Lobster Tots, now whoever thought that would be good? The plate looked very strange to say the least but I have to say.... this dish was really good! So you'd think if they could create that total mayhem of a dish that they could get far more creative with the burgers and least have a house burger sauce or a higher quality bun for $17, something? I might return to Temperate Habits to have a drink with friends and share some tots, because they give you a large enough portion for four people, but I would certainly look elsewhere for a good burger. 5 stars for atmosphere and service, 1 star for the burger, 4 stars for the tots.

For what feels like no apparent reason. The bartender slinging beers--truly seemed annoyed and miserable with his life. And then the woman taking food orders? Also acted very inconvenienced. It was just kind of unsettling and unwelcoming. And then there's the part about the unexplained wait time for our food order. My sister ordered after us and received her brisket nachos in what felt like a timely manner. 10-15-20 minutes went by before we finally inquired about the wait of our brisket poutine. The same lady who took our order just matter-of-factly told us, "it's still being worked on," before another employee came to offer more of an explanation, stating that their ticket system had failed and missed some orders. At that point, we just wanted to cancel the order altogether and get on our way, but we were assured that it was being prepared. So then we opted to take it to go. Overall, what a wildly disappointing dining experience. Our to-go poutine had 3 whole cheese curds (had to pay for extra) and brisket that looked like dog kibble. I hate to dog on establishments, but this is one I really cannot recommend.
