Skechers store so small, I thought I'd stepped into a shoebox. I been going this one store for the past ten years and saddened it's my last time. They had a big selection of size 13's. Amazing customer service! I had returned a pair of shoes a few weeks before and had not yet seen the credit on my card. I walked in expecting push back and thought this was going to become a big deal. I presented my receipt to Jackie, the manager, and she not only listened to me, she heard me. She immediately made it right with such politeness and professionalism, I had to give her and the person that recognized her leadership qualities a shout-out. This location guest service hasn't improved at all. Every team member including management doesn't acknowledge you once you step into the store and even when you are in the aisle also they discriminate against my relatives and me who have a disability. We overheard a couple of team members, one of them was a female and the other was a male also we think the female team member was management talking negatively about my relatives physical disability. Everyone in this store should be let go including management and they should hire new management and sales associates who actually cares about guests services and treating every guests who come into their store with respect. read more

I went to this store with my mom today. They have the BOGO for 50% off sale. We had certain style in mind but they don't have the size of both of us. Bilanca was very nice and helpful and called the Fullerton store for us. Unfortunately they don't have them either. So she helped us order the shoes online and also honored the promotion. She's very patient and kind throughout the whole process and even offered both me and my mom popcorns after the purchase ( which I gave mine to the homeless lady sitting on the bus bench outside the store). The two employees were both terrible. They did not acknowledge us, did not welcome us, was answered in a snotty tone of "IM COMING!" when I asked for help after not being acknowledged the first time. This was not during a rush & we were the only two customers in the store. I've never experienced such pure laziness of not one but two of the only employees until now. Their conversation about whatever celebrity they were talking about was more important than a paying customer. Can't stress enough how bad this interaction was. We originally went to the Sketchers store in Fullerton and wanted two of the same kind of shoes. They unfortunately only had the 1 pair so they were nice enough to call Sketchers in Anaheim to reserve the 2nd pair for us. We got here and the process was super easy. Henry was extremely helpful and he was patient while I tried on the shoes. He also informed us about the Sketchers rewards program and I was able to sign up and start using my rewards. Wow - I honestly did not expect this level of customer service from an outlet store. Not only is the store clean and well-organized, but the store associates really went above and beyond. They were out of my daughter's size in the shoes she had her heart set on. They easily could have said, "Nope, sorry we're out" but instead they found them online, placed the order for us with free shipping, AND still honored the BOGO with the other pair we were buying in store. To top it off, they gave the kiddos coloring sheets, stickers, and their own little draw string bags. Such a great experience, really made our whole day. This Skechers outlet is definitely my go-to branch whenever shopping for another pair of sneakers, especially those popular Twinkle Toes for my daughter. I was amazed at how many different pairs of shoes that Skechers made. I had no idea! This last visit I also picked up a comfortable pair of slip ons that almost resemble ballet flats with the ribbon for my feet and memory foam inserts that work great! They always have the on going buy one pair get the second half off special, which is a great deal when they have such a large inventory. It's hard to just settle on two pairs! They also have a pretty extensive clearance section where you're bound to find a pair or two that will work just as well. Talk about a place that has Shape ups!, They seemed to have more Shape ups than anything else, but, they did have a variety of items over there. We stopped here on the way to get our grub on to see what kind of deals that they had. The service was awesome! We had Elli helping us. She was able to direct us to the best deals that they had at the time as well as the selections that they had on hand. I was looking for another pair of sandals and the wife was looking for some shapes up. I found an awesome deal on some comfortable sandals. The wife also found a great deal on her shoes. This is super location for Skechers and has some odd feeling so I got of 99 freeway onto state college. Pulled into the parking lot of sketchers and the shop was in some disarray that i just bought their shoe cleaning liquid. Though they had a amazing sale on slippers for 9.99 onwards. This is a great place to purchase shoes for under $50. They had 1000s of different shoes and a sale buy one and get the second one at half price. When I walked into this store I was disappointed. The place looked so small. But I started walking around and noticed that they made up for the lack of shelf space by not Having a bunch of repetitive samples. Although I was acknowledged I wasn't hassled and followed around the store. (dig that). I found a pair of shoes that I liked but did not see my size. I asked a girl that worked there for some help. She looked for it on the floor and couldn't find any (13). She said she was bringing out some shoes that had been earmarked for clearance and offered to go see if there were some there. She came back with a big smile on her face because she did find some. After that she asked if there was any other style that I wanted for her to check for my size. In fact there was. It turned out they did not have any in store. As she was helping me her shift ended. Another girl (Ely) came over and took over with the duties. Ely then checked other stores for these shoes (shape ups that looked dressy). She had 2 cordless phones going calling these other stores. She finally found a pair and asked that they hold them for me. I was so appreciative of all the effort that these ladies put into helping me find my shoes. I stop by this sketchers store to return two pairs of shoes that I had bought for my son. I was thinking of keeping one pair but after how one of the girls tolerated my son with us only being there for a minute or two I decided to get my $80 back. I walked in and was help right away and no people on-line so she helped return the shoes but in that short time , She got bother and with some atitude told me " can you tell him not to do that" . She was referring to my little son pushing the boxes further in than how they have them. I politely and immediately told my son to stop. In my mind I thought will a toddler listen and stop this or is this girl too immature to understand he is not going to be the last toddler coming in to make a mess. Mind you she is working and this child is there to possibly get more shoes and in turn making money for the store to give her a job. He wasn't even there for two minutes. I decided to not stay there not even another minute. I felt if I stay here longer this girl is going to hate my 3 year old or she will hate her hard working day. Some people do not understand what it is to work in customer service that can involve children. Hope corporate sees this and gives a recap to employees on how to not have short tolerance towards children( a client too). I get rearranging shoes is frustrating and children are trouble makers but children are always playful and if a Person doesn't know that then that person has issues and is definitely not helping her job or the store. read more
