Therefore, I was very thankful when my wife shared that she found a reputable & cost effective esthetician in close proximity to our home. After seeing my wife's skin the days following her appointment, I immediately preceded to fill out Lindy's online client intake form. Generally, Lindy is booked solid; however, I was fortunate to absorb an appointment that was cancelled by a client. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by Lindy shortly after stepping out of my vehicle. Lindy led me into her quiet and clean skin studio, in which she proceeded to inquire about any concerns that I have pertaining to my skin. I shared with Lindy that I suffered from cystic acne in my teens and early 20's; therefore, I was looking for a treatment to remove some acne scars. She suggested that I have a special treatment that would gradually remove the scarring, which led to me scheduling a future appointment to begin the treatment. As Lindy began the process, we engaged in casual conversation that took my mind away from the slight discomfort of the facial (I have a low pain tolerance when it comes to face treatments). In between conversation, Lindy did a great job of checking in to make sure that I was ok. Following the treatment, I was amazed at the appearance of my skin. It seemed like my skin looked more rejuvenated as the days passed, and the Lyra cleanser that I purchased from Lindy complimented my sensitive skin. I was able to get my room, which was the hair treatment room (odd for sure) which had 2 beds each shoved against either wall which left me wondering how the therapist would move around the my table, but whatever, they are the pros, not me. I got in and laid down and waited for my therapist. She came in and the massage got started. I could hear some loud talking outside the door (there was no music to cover it) but thought I would tune it out. Then someone was in the room with us having a conversation with the therapist. Weird right? OK, block it out. Just relax. She left, my therapist never stopped so I thought that was the end of it. Well here she comes again, talking to the therapist like we are not in a spa and I am not there. She leaves , has some loud conversation outside the door, then comes back. She then gets my attention and asks me if I wouldn't mind sharing the room with a person. I am 10 minutes into a 90 minute massage and I am stopped to consider if I would share a room with a stranger? Is it a man? A woman? Is the therapist a man or a woman? Too much to think about. Who on earth would share a room where you in your most vulnerable state? Naked and trying to relax while someone is trying to remove your stressors and anxiety. It required pretty significant corrective work, and James and his team did an absolutely beautiful job and made my hair even more beautiful than I could have hoped. He was meticulous with each strand of my hair and got my highlights and lowlights just right to give me the exact cool blonde I wanted. Excellent skill and thorough work! As if that weren't enough, James told me he wanted to call the salon I had previously come from to advocate for me to receive a refund for the corrective work (which I was much too shy to even consider asking for), and they agreed to do so thanks to the photo evidence he collected from my hair. On top of that, he offered to share his expertise with the stylist at the other salon to help address some of the technical issues he had seen on my hair.
