I needed to wait and write this review once the first two of three skin laser renewal treatments were completed and healed. Now, I am happy to report the results are showing a marked improvement in blending years of sun damaged freckled skin to face, neck and décolletage skin tones to create more even skin tones Debi Ryan suggested the idea of a non-invasive laser but still had my doubts. Though, after meeting with Tamara (Tammi) Trzcinski and Debi, I felt confident that this could really work. The treatments were not painful. You don't see immediate results, but you see results soon enough. Three weeks in, I can say that I noticed the fading of my brown spots - with every week following yielded better results. For many used to got my facials at this spa once a month. I bought most of my skin care products here as well. Then things started changing and service was not as it used to be and I stopped coming. I visited this Spa recently to buy products for my teen son's skin. While there I also bought some of the products that I used to buy for myself. Most of the products I got came in the plastic container. But one of the Peptide serum was in a glass bottle. When I got home I saw that the bottom of the glass bottle broke off and the gel was leaking. I went back to exchange the product and was told that they don't exchange product but can offer me a discount on the new bottle instead. This was soo wrong! Thrilled to find Tamara ( aka Tammi) for my Botox and fillers (uneven lips/under-eye sag). My 'maintenance' has been once year for the past seven years and I have no shame admitting this... as well as encouraging the timid or curious to pony up the money for beauty treatments. Botox is quite affordable. Juvaderm, the filler, is about $350, and that will plump your lips or eradicate smile lines just fine. The concern is finding an aesthetically talented, medically accredited technician that wants to collaborate with you. To paraphrase my father's comment " We're not having a conversation if one of us talks more than the other" Tamara and I batted the ball around for a solid half hour until we were in mutual agreement about 'how much' and 'where'. I have never been this pleased before. She LOVES her job. Getting the correct results is totally how she operates. Seven years of Med Spa experiences and I am pleased to find Tamara. Very bright. Every time I stray away and try a different location for my skin care needs (i.e., facials, microderm, botox, fillers), I regret it and come back to them. The facility is elegant and tranquil. When you walk in, you feel like you have escaped and left your problems at the door. The staff is amazing. They are always attentive, sweet, and always have a genuine smile on their faces. I went in for tattoo removal. They don't know what they're doing at all. Don't be fooled by the nice atmosphere. The people working there were nice and friendly too but they totally ruined my skin. They used PicoSure laser on me and kept raving about the results I would get. Anyway, it was much more painful than it was when I used to go to Dr. Tattoff before they closed down. It took twice as long to heal. The worst part is that I now have hyper and hypo pigmentation which is really bad. When I told them about it, they said I should wait for another six months or so... Well, I went elsewhere to get a second opinion about it and was told that I have burns from the PicoSure and that I should never have been a candidate for PicoSure because I'm Asian. Now I have to try and reverse the damage that they did... My tattoo actually looks a lot darker now because of them. When I went to show them, they tried to assure me by telling me that the ink will not come back. Well, it did nothing to make me feel better. Oh, I forgot to mention that they also held the laser way too close to my skin. In fact, the device probably came into direct contact with my skin a few times. I really wish I had never gone there. read more

Outstanding place - first class service, attuned to your specific skin needs. Very reasonably priced compared to many in the LA area for the service level. They take their time and do things right, very relaxing and a great atmosphere overall. They offer all kinds of products, with no pressure, and will suggest workaround alternatives if you're not quite ready to purchase. All my appointments have been with Fenya, she's top notch all the way, I highly recommend her. I don't know if they still offer this, but they have a free initial consult and facial. Totally worth the time and you might even consider skipping that and going right to the paid full facial so you don't have to delay coming back for the great results you'll be getting. I came in wanting an eyebrow lift, and to soften frown lines. Since it was my first time at this Medspa and their prices were significantly cheaper than where I'd normally go for Botox and it seemed too good to be right. I made my expectations and concerns very clear to Barbara; the person who injected me. I expressed that I did not want to feel "frozen, I didn't want droopy eye, and did not want to have "Spock" eyebrows. Barbara proceeded to write down Botox units on her chart without discussing anything to me besides saying it would be "34 units total". I felt very pressured into buying more units than I needed. So.. long story short about 3 weeks later now my results are Spock eyebrows that are also uneven. Droopy, heavy eyelids, and completely frozen frown line that is very uncomfortable. I feel very ugly and almost want to cry. I called after beginning to see these results and on the phone it sounded like they were going to have someone correct the results. When I went in Marion said that there was absolutely nothing she could do to correct the results. I then asked if they would be able to refund me then since my face would be stuck this way for the the next couple of months. After going to check if that would be possible she came back and rudely told me "we can't be refunding people just because their eyebrows feel heavy". She clearly had not listened to any of my concerns. I have received Botox plenty of times before and have never had such a bad and cheap feeling experience. It really feels as though no one at this place wants me to feel happy with my results and just have this oh well- type of attitude about the whole thing. Just because I have no frown lines does not mean these are good results! I feel like they just wanted to take my money. I find it very hard to believe that the doctor who owns this Medspa would be pleased with how his employees handled this situation. read more

I had a revision rhinoplasty here after thinking my life was ruined. Dr. Schwartz has done an amazing job listening to me and helping me get back to where I want to be. I've been to many plastic surgeons throughout Los Angeles and Beverly Hills and so far I believe that Dr. Schwartz is the best one. I was terrified to have surgery again because my surgery experience 8 years ago was so bad. I felt like this was a huge risk, but if I didn't do it I would be dwelling on it for the rest of my life. My results have been very impressive. I feel like I look like me again and I'm breathing better than I have in most of a decade. If you want to have good results I recommend communicating with your doctor about what you expect. Dr. Schwartz is a highly intelligent and easy to communicate with. I originally came here for a microdermabrasion facial and have since returned for a PRP Therapy facial (with phenomenal results after just one time) and most recently started getting tattoo removal done here and could not be more pleased. After a horrible experience with Doctor Tattoff - I went 3 times after paying for 9 sessions with no results and they closed all their locations and won't refund a penny. Not only did Skin Deep match the much lower pricing for a much better laser but I've come here only twice for laser tattoo removal and they have faded significantly. I'm totally torn on this review. Michelle is absolutely wonderful if you are thinking of a facial or microderm. But if you're thinking of getting botox or anything laser then definitely go to Dr. Gross and not the nurse or PA. Dr. Gross is amazing at explaining how everything works and the pros and cons of anything and everything, he is super conservative and would never let you look like a freak. However, there is something about Marian that if you have half a brain and have ever read even a basic magazine article then you will be completely annoyed at the repetitive story that she tells every time you come. For goodness sake, stop telling me about how my skin has multiple layers and they all shed off over time and the bottom layer comes to the top - no crap! Now get knowledgeable about what really goes on with the skin. She will make you feel ugly and suggest procedures that are totally unnecessary and she doesn't listen to what you want to accomplish. read more

This is a review for the condescending women at the front desk. I come into Skin deep about once a month to get a refill on my moisturizer. I came in yesterday and they told me that it was out of stock. I was in a rush and asked them if they could give me a small sample to get me through the day. She told me that they generally don't do that, and they can't be giving me a sample "every day until it comes back in stock". Her demeanor and glares as she was speaking to me made me extremely uncomfortable. It was very unprofessional. I've been coming regularly to skin deep for the past year and I've never asked for a sample. The overall attitude of everyone at the front desk made me feel unwelcome and I will NEVER be coming back here to purchase anything. Also, the overall aesthetic of this office is dated and dreary. It has been a month since I had my Derma Pen with PRP service with Tammy. I was a little skeptical at first but I have to say that after 4 weeks I'm still very happy with the results. I am 39 years old and my skin has not looked this amazing since I was in my 20's. I am now 39 and I am sold on the Derma Pen with PRP. My pores are noticeably smaller and the fine wrinkles around my eyes are a lot softer. I can even tell that it helped break up a little bit of the sun damage that I have on my on my face. I went to Medspa for Ultherapy, which is a powerful ultra sound treatment for lifting and tightening sagging skin . Crystal was my aesthetician who gave me the treatment, she is very caring and was very hands on with the Ulthera machine. I was a little hesitant considering there were bad reviews on other review sites, But the dates on those review were from 2007.
