I went for brow threading few months ago and I did not like the service. I don't remember the name of the person that helped me but she was always asking me if it was good, as if she didn't know the best brow shaping for me or did not want to remove more hair than I wanted. This is not the type of service I expect because I also don't know the best shape for my eye brow so I want her to be confident enough to tell me and perform the job. So the first time I went to this place I had a really good experience and didn't hesitate to go back and try more services than just getting my brows threaded. The second time, I asked them not to make my brow any thinner just clean it up. She completely changed the shape of my brow and they are thinner than they have EVER been. I was very disappointed the final results. I also tried a Brazilian by them and was embarassed for them. I have been to several salons and have not had such poor results. I even had to ask her to come back in after to finished to remove all the hair she missed and even after that she still didn't remove all the hair and I don't think it's too much to ask for a completely bare result when that's what I am expecting and paying for. I am upset, my eyebrows are messed up!!! Last time I was here my eyebrows were done ok, not exactly what I asked for but ok. I was promised by the lady I think was the owner that next time it would be done better and to my liking. Well, I'm screwed. I had not touched my eyebrows since last time I was here in mid-December so I had good grow but still a couple of gaps, I was ok to deal with it no problem. I asked the lady to leave my eyebrows THICK! I told her is ok if there's gaps. I even showed her a pic of what my eyebrows looked like before it got butchered. She said ok relax. When she showed me what my right eyebrow looked like and I wanted to scream. TOO THIN!!! WHY??? Please listen to your customer and if you don't understand or can't do it say it. Another lady stepped in to help but there's nothing much she could do. So now I will be walking around with two completely different eyebrows. She said next time it would be better. Updating my review.. It's a hit or miss with this place. The only person I trust there is Roxanna. She's the only one who actually gave me a consultation and we worked together to agree on an eyebrow shape for my face. However, I never really know when she's working. I called today and I added if Roxanna was there. The woman on the phone says, who? I say again. She said, "oh I don't know if she's ever coming back". Say whhaaaaa... How do they not know? I've done many eye brow threading, and for me, this had been the best by far. She was quick thorough. You can tell she knew what she was doing it. It was quick that I didn't have time to really feel the hair pulling bc she was already done with them. Frequent visitor for years. They have changed location a few times since I started going and they have gotten progressively worse. Their customer service is appalling and even though they promote Groupons, they won't honor. Instead of being friendly and requesting proof of purchase or realizing that the Groupon was in fact promoted by the business, the staff was rude and kicked us out. Never coming back here again. I went for laser hair removal on full legs and brazilian, and Shama was very kind and helpful. She did a great job distracting me from the discomfort and put me completely at ease during what would normally feel like an awkward situation. This is not my first laser treatment, but so far I'm happy with the results, and I'll be bringing my partner along next time so he can get his neck done. My only suggestions are that I wish they would let people mix and match areas when buying packages. I recently moved to this area from TX and my previous medspa would let people buy a package of treatments for a particular size of area and then use them for whatever body part you want as long as it's that size, so if you bought a package of 6 sessions on an XL area you could split it evenly between legs / brazilian. I bought a 3 pack and only needed a touch-up on the brazilian area, because I had already had more laser sessions done there than for my legs, so I thought I could do 2 full leg sessions and 1 brazilian touch-up. Instead, I had to buy the brazilian sessions separately, despite them both being considered XL area and costing the same amount. I also wish they'd send out an email ahead of the appointment with specific instructions. I knew to stay out of the sun, etc. but I had to reschedule my first visit because I'd unknowingly used coconut oil 2 days before and that was a no-no (no oils for 7 days prior to treatment). All in all, they have great pricing and I'd definitely recommend Shama specifically. read more

Be careful with eyebrows. Normally this has been a good experience for me here, but I just went and could not be more upset with my eyebrows. I specifically asked for the woman working not to make my eye brows thin, and to just clean them up. She took so much off of the top and bottom, and then proceeded to trim them too short at the front and now they are jagged. Unless you have extremely thick eyebrows, do not come here. They only know how to do one type of eyebrow and shape. I was suckered into buying their Browbucks card on my first visit, otherwise I never would have returned. I've tried three different threaders and each one has found a new way to make my brows look ridiculous. The woman who did my brows today put black powder to fill her mistakes in while pretending to brush my brows, so when I got home and washed my face the top edge of my right eyebrow washed away to reveal where she had hacked a weird angle with her brow scissors. My eyebrows look nothing alike and the right one is too short and starts much further from my nose the the other. It's hair, and it'll grow back, but if there don't know how to handle a particular face shape or brow shape the professional thing to do would be to admit that. I never had this problem with threading until I moved to Redmond three months ago. read more

Having recently moved to the Seattle area from NYC, it pained me to pay more than my usual $7 (not to mention double) for an eyebrow threading. However, after weeks of disheveled tweezing, I decided to bite my tongue and go. The young lady who was doing my threading was extremely pleasant and constantly made sure I was comfortable. I left with nicely shaped brows that weren't too thin. If you end up going frequently, they do have a punch card for $60 which takes the cost down to $10 per visit. read more

This is the worst place to go for waxing! I have had waxing done for more than 8+ years in several salons and cities around the world. By far, I have never had an experience this bad. The person who did my hands/arms waxing literally poured super hot wax that I got scarred. I told her that it was too hot and she was saying that it will be hot and I had to bear it. I came in with full eyebrows with great shape that I LOVE. I needed to get them cleaned up before being in a friends wedding. While this place is very clean, the technician didn't ask my any questions and got straight to work. I was shocked when my eyebrows were revealed and half gone! I was left with very thin eyebrows. She was very pleased with her work and while my eyebrows were done very cleanly I wish I had told her that I wanted to keep the fullness. One word of advice... BE SPECIFIC about shape and thickness before they start threading! Overall very clean and good work. Just needed to tell them what I wanted first.
