I have loved Go4Pizza since they opened, but last 2 times pizza has not been that good. Has something changed in last month or so? Skimped on the sauce, very little cheese, and did not have the taste and quality I expect. Ordered a cheese pizza one time, and the meat lover the next. My other favorite is the Rancho chicken, if that one has also fallen in quality, it will be my last visit. The people working did not seem to care if they worked. Spacious place that's great for families. They also have high top bar seats on the other side of the restaurant too. We ordered a medium go 4 pizza combo, a go 4 pizza salad and 6 piece lemon pepper wings. The food came out pretty fast! The salad was one of my favorites. It had fresh ingredients and we drizzled some balsamic dressing on time. The pizza was a good size. I liked the crispy bottom but yet doughy texture of the crust. We have been to Go 4 Pizza a few times after appointments at Mather VA on our way back home to Elk Grove. Each time we have visited, we are greeted right away by a friendly team member. The pizza is really good! Excellent amount of toppings and the crust is perfect: crisp on the bottom, not over baked, slight chew. They have large screen tvs and a party room too. It's clean and well-maintained. We've have the meatballs before (not this time) and they're great. Get them on a pizza! They have monthly pizza specials too. Friendly local pizza place. I come from a family of 7 gluten free people. It's hard to find a pizza place we can trust and tastes good. We just moved into the area so far one of our first orders of business was to find our pizza spot. It was not difficult. Walked in and was greater by the employees. Place had families and kids running around which I loved. Bar had ciders and the menu had two types of gf. They promptly let me know one of their overs were down and they were out of one of their crusts. I decided to take the one they had and knew the wait would be a bit. One of their staff came over and asked all kinds of questions just getting to know me. She also knew everyone's names who walked in. It felt like "Cheers" back in the day. A place where everyone knows your name. It felt like no time at all the pizzas were done. Got them home and everyone dove right in. No complaints. We had pesto and chicken, meat lovers and a combo. I work nearby so I ordered online for pickup; love that their online ordering system allows for you to order before they open. Super convenient considering I have a limited amount of time for lunch. We have come here multiple times over the years and the service has continually gotten worse. The owner, on several occasions, spoke to our kids rudely and treated us and other customers very poorly. They lost our business, our kids sports team events and any work related events. Reading the comments, this appears to be a theme. Pizza is eh, maybe 3 stars. Not worth it. Reply to Donna: appreciate you reaching out, however seeing that other comments discuss this as a theme dating back a while, I'd say your company isn't hitting the mark. I would work with your husband on his ability to speak with all people, including kids. They should not walk away crying after asking him a question. Proof is in action. I've ordered from both locations; Rancho Cordova regularly and Rancho Murieta on occasion. Three out of the three times that I've ordered from the Rancho Murieta location I've been told my order would be ready in 35-40min and every single time I've showed up after 45min and my order hasn't even been started or been put in the oven yet. Rancho Murieta has at least 5 teens working and barely anyone in the restaurant so this is absolutely ridiculous and horrible customer service!!! I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS LOCATION AGAIN!!! Had I been told that my pizza was not even cooked prior to paying and tipping, I would have walked out and gone somewhere else!!! Their pizza is great, which will keep me coming back. The service has been the issue the last few times I've ordered. This last time I ordered pizza for a birthday online for delivery. Delivery time was 35 minutes. I've been told by the store that they confirm each delivery made online. 45 minutes roll around, nothing. I called at the hour mark to ask what was happening and I was told the pizza had been sitting for a while on top of the oven and they had no drivers. My only option was to drive down at 8PM after a few Birthday drinks which I declined to do. I understand mistakes happen, but maybe turn off delivery if it's not an option.
