I need to check my RAM 2500. It showed engine lights and codes and it ran rough and loud. Towed it…read moreover with AAA in no time. They ran a diagnostic. 179 $. A little spendy and it is not credited towards the bill, which I was not so happy about. But, they found what the problem was the same day and called before digging deeper into the engine. It was a bigger problem than expected and none of the 3 technician I spoke with before mentioned that the noise could come from there. I gave the ok to fix it. What is not great is that of that over 700 $ was labor! 200 $ or so in parts and then I was charged 25 $ for shop supplies ( that I found ridiculous). But, I guess that is what is done today. The problem was fixed and a smaller issue taken care off by the GM who was not only friendly but seemed more than experienced. 75 $ AAA discount was applied as posted on AAA website. My truck is running and I am ready for a longer road trip and feel confident it will be running well. Very friendly service, clean shop all the way. Labor costs are high. I think they are not justifiable. But compared to dealerships like Firkins or Gettel, shops like Begley are a bargain ( compared to those). Thing is, there is nothing you can do about that. I will take my business to this shop from here on because the way the staff took care of my things and the GM Jason did excellent customer service. With a 3 year labor warranty I feel pretty good about riding my car through the states. Oh, and I certainly will bring my oil change to them :).
