We did not have reservations and were seated by a friendly hostess immediately at 4:30 on a Friday in April. The rooftop view is nice. That has many sides, so your skyline view will depend on which ones you see. Our section was near the inside bar, so we could see a hotel pool in a beautiful Art Deco building. On Friday and Saturday, the happy hour menu only has food specials. We got the crab Rangoon, which was good and full of cream cheese. We also ordered the steamed dumplings because they were chicken and tasty. I recommend asking for sriracha to put on the dumplings.
The views are absolutely gorgeous, come here for a high rise balcony view at a bar! The drinks were good and I really enjoyed the flower prints with rosemary petals! I also got (not shown) shishito peppers and edamame. The blue mermaid had a great tropical flavor profile (Bacard bananai rum, pineapple, lime, blue caraco) was great for me since I enjoyed fruity and sweet cocktails. The other two drinks were very aesthetically pleasing as the edible print changed shape as I drank it. Out of the two bar bites, I'd get the shishito peppers again. The staff was kind let me send back a drink I didn't like - they went the extra mile.
Came here on the recommendation of hotel staff. It was a beautiful sunny evening and this was the perfect place for it. We sat outside to enjoy the view. They have a fun cocktail menu and the sake is strong. Juts wanted a light dinner so went with the wraps. The meat was tender and so flavorful. Others were gathering for celebrations and this is a great location for that. Staff was really friendly as well. Would come back and enjoy more food and cocktails for sure.
Came here on a Saturday night around 8pm with a reservation on the rooftop , the view is really nice there is sign that shows you which door to go in before going in the elevators to the roof and thank goodness there is. Seated and greeted immediately Jose was super nice and helpful . The service was so quick with the food and drinks which I loved; they have a QR code for the menu. I had the strawberry margarita and the beef short rib pho both were really good! The rooftop was full but it wasn't loud and also the calamari super good too loved that the red peppers were cooked nicely.
FYI this place is NOT kid friendly. That is not a knock against them, just want others to know if they have kids. They don't have high chairs or boosters and they don't allow kids on their patio. We have a little foodie so he was happy to eat chicken dumplings and the shrimp tempura seaweed tacos with spicy mayo. Food came out very quickly. Like, surprisingly so. It was also delicious. We had fried chicken dumplings, bao buns, beef short rib pho, and beef penne pasta. Everything was so good. Service was great, we were greeted promptly and our service checked in regularly. Plates were pre-bussed. No complaints. Ambience was good but the music was a titch loud. The vibe was more "low volume jazz renditions of classic Christmas carols" but instead they went with "very loud very modern Christmas songs".
Service was so fast. We were seated right away. Out waitress was attentive and our food came out so fast. I love the roof top vibes in Dallas. Zero complaints. I highly recommend the cucumber halo cocktail. It was so refreshing. Shaken beef bao is a must!
Trendy rooftop spot located on Main and Akard. Definitely make a reservation because this place is small. This place includes both indoor and outdoor patio / rooftop seating. For how small the place is, I'm impressed with how the restaurant was able to accommodate two large group parties, and by large group, I mean a party of over 10+ people. We didn't make a reservation well in advance, so the next reservation available was at 8:30pm. We got there early and were able to be seating about 15 minutes prior to our reservation time. This is the first time I've gone to a Vietnamese restaurant where there is only 1pho option. They have a variety of other Vietnamese dishes including two other soup options: Bun Rieu and Bun Bo Hue. We ordered the dumplings, beef short rib pho, and salmon clay pot. The dumplings were my favorite. You have the option to order them steamed or fried, but we ordered the dumplings steamed and comes on a bed of their house soy sauce, which also includes hoisin sauce mixed in the dumplings. The beef short rib pho was not my favorite. I typically like to add a drop of hoisin sauce with each bite of pho, but the broth itself was too sweet for me. It was so sweet that I had to add some siracha, which I normally don't add, but I needed to add some saltiness to neutralize the sweet flavor. Also, the beef short rib was not tender and was a bit hard to eat, unless you want to use your hands. The pho also includes thinly sliced steak meat. Salmon clay pot was good with jasmine rice and onions and peppers it comes with. It complemented well with soy sauce and hoisin sauce. I think the salmon would've tasted better if it was fried and crispy. The salmon cubes were a bit overcooked in my opinion. With the small space, the only way to get to the patio / outside is through a sliding door. The sliding door was opened a lot with people and servers going in and out, so it felt cold in the dining room as well. I had to ask the server to close the sliding door a couple of times.

what a great find! All the food is fresh and well presented. Each time we've come here the wait staff has been very kind and agreeable as well as intentional. Gorgeous layout and if it's the good weather, you can sit outside for an amazing view... The only tricky part is remembering that the elevator light doesn't come on, but the elevator will come...
Came here for small bites and a drink on a Friday evening and was able to get seated right away. My friend and I sat out on the rooftop, and the views of downtown Dallas and the sunset were exquisite! The food has an Asian twist, so we were excited to see how it tasted. We ordered the shaken beef bao, calamari, bun rieu, and the chicken blossom clay pot. The food was pretty good, but not spectacular. I was also expecting a traditional clay pot with noodles, but it was served on a skillet, so it reminded me of chicken fajitas. For the cocktails, my friend ordered the Sky Blossom Spritz and I ordered the Passion in Paradise. Both were wayyy too sweet for our liking, and this was after the waiter said these were on the less sweet side. Had I known, I would've stuck to a glass of wine. Overall, the views and the experience was nice, but the food and drinks were just okay.
Vegan review This place is so beautiful! I love sitting on a rooftop patio in downtown Dallas! They are the best!!! I also loved the drinks they offered, so delicious, and a little strong!!! The service was fine. I'm giving my review mostly because of the food. There isn't much for vegans. We got the spring roll appetizer which was delicious. The only entree meal for vegans were the blossom tacos, which were two seaweed leaves, with a tiny bit of rice and a few avocado slices. Each were two bites, I finished my dish in 1 minute with how small they were. I sat there watching my boyfriend eat his large pork pho dish for 20 min. I was still hungry. I guess I could have ordered more spring rolls. I still had to eat after. This place is beautiful, and a great place to get drinks. It's not a good place for vegans to have an actual meal. I'll come back for drinks for sure.
Dropped in for dinner last Friday. The restaurant is so cute, and even though it was a Friday night it wasn't too busy. Was such a gorgeous night weather wise, everyone opted to sit out on the balcony that has wonderful views of downtown! We ordered a few things to share and some cocktails. For apps: The shaken beef bao buns were tasty and had a good amount of filling. Fried calamari was crispy and had a really good flavor! I loved the mix of garlic and peppers with the side of ranch. It was calamari like I've never had before. Entree: Bun Rieu spicy crab and pork soup was so bomb! This was my favorite dish of the night. So incredibly flavorful, can taste the crab and the pork. A little salty if you aren't sharing it so recommend getting something on the side as a palate cleanser. Chicken Blossom Clay Pot was a bit underwhelming but I could still taste the clay pot flavor. Cocktails were delicious as well. I had the sky blossom spritz and it was refreshing albeit the watermelon flavor was more jolly rancher than natural. My friend got the passion in paradise which was yummy as well and so aesthetic. Overall a great experience!
The service was awesome! Very accommodating! We cane in late on a Friday. We were seated inside but truly wanted to sit on the patio. When the right space became available, the team moved us and our items to a rooftop table without us reminding them. The skyline of downtown Dallas is so amazing from the rooftop. They have a cute space for pictures and a new rooftop on the other side of the building. The food was so yummy, I had the fried dumplings, spicy beef phơ, and calamari. They did not have any egg Rolls that day. I totally did not get pictures of the other items, but it was all so delicious! It's really fun place to go and not too terrible on the wallet...

View was stunning and drinks were so pretty and good. The food however fell very flat. Overpriced and not the best options. Would recommend coming for drinks but then go somewhere for dinner afterwards! read more
The food here was pretty good, my friend got the Beef Short Rib Pho and I got the Chicken Blossom Clay Pot. I thought my meal was very small in terms of portion and my friends meal was quick large. It was moderately priced and service was attentive. You would mainly come for the ambiance though, which is the reason for the 3 star review. read more
First off upon entry it was obvious they were not sure if they wanted to seat us. We arrived 45 minutes before closing on a Monday with our son in tow. During the experience they were not much help when asking what was gluten free. Some of the rudest impolite individuals. When just asking for a second to decide if we wanted to stay or not after finding out they were out of all but one dish that was gluten free they hovered over us even after my husband was asking to give us a moment to decide if we should go or not. Rude rude rude people! Even after asking a few times thinking they didn't understand the lady kept saying oh yes we understand all while still hovering over us. So strange and rude. read more
Best place to eat Vietnamese food with a view in downtown. I had their beef stew and pho. They both tasted authentic with so much flavor. The meats were all tender. Exactly what you taste at a local Vietnamese place. My friend tried pho for the first time here and now she's hooked. They have a margarita flight that has different fruit flavors. They tasted amazing and was pretty cheap. Service is always good here. Very attentive. The prices are reasonable for what you get with an awesome view of surrounding skyscrapers. read more
Easily my favorite spot to go when I have visitors in town who I have never been to Dallas. The rooftop gives the perfect view of the city and I absolutely love it ! The restaurant itself is very small inside and outside- so make sure you go on OpenTable and reserve your table at least 2-3 weeks in advance. (They book quick). The food was super yummy and the cocktails were really cute and good as well. Overall it was a little pricey but I think the experience and the quality of the items you consume is worth it! This was such a cute place! Food was flavorful & the ambiance is EVERYTHING! Rooftop and good food, Perfect date night. Parking sucks, and it's easy to miss, thank Goodness they had a sign out front on the side walk or Else I would've missed it. You go on and take The elevator to the top floor. I had The sushi tacos which were tasty! And the egg rolls Are so crispy and delicious. I also really Like the crab Rangoon, I'll come back and Try more! We came here for the rooftop view, and it was nice. Not amazing, but still enjoyable. The fried wontons with guacamole were the star of the show, followed by the fried dumplings. The "crispy" wings were not crispy at all. And the calamari was a bit strange...and chewier than it was supposed to be. The watermelon mocktail was very refreshing. Customer service was just average. Food came out quickly though. I wouldn't recommend it overall...someone said it's higher prices for not very authentic Vietnamese foods, and I agree. read more

Sky blossom is a hidden gem downtown. Great rooftop views, beautiful decor, chic ambiance, good food and drinks. So far I've had the korean bbq dinner (5 stars), garlic shrimp noodles (4 stars), shaken beef boa (4 stars), salt and pepper wings (3.5 stars). The drinks are strong, and their happy hour is solid. This is a great place for a date or girls night. read more

Underwhelming, to say the least. The rooftop patio is pretty unimaginative tbh. No decor or ambiance...maybe at night it looks better with the lighting idk. The service was dismal. I had 4 different servers pass by my table and never stop to ask if I needed anything. I finally just stopped one of them and asked if I could order drinks! I got the margarita flight and it was just dropped off at my table, no explanation of the different flavors or anything. Again, I had to stop a waiter and ask what the flavors were (it's not listed on the menu). *The cocktails were good - their only saving Grace. Guacamole with wonton chips was extremely bland. Nothing more to say about that. The lemongrass stir fry was decent enough to eat and a bit spicy, so I liked that aspect of it. But the jasmine rice was hard af :| I probably would have been better off at Panda Express (ew). Needless to say, I was disappointed in this experience and I wouldn't return nor would I recommend to a friend. Onward to find a different rooftop! :) read more
Sky Blossom isn't your overhyped Dallas bar. It's a small and intimate space that lives up to the hype. I came late night before a mavs game and was amazed. I only shared apps here but everything was super tasty, the service was great, and the views were amazing! read more

I honestly went here to see the views of the city. The perfect weather to sit on the balcony and have a nice meal. The small bites we got were the wings, steamed dumplings and fried chicken egg rolls. I wasn't a fan of the wings. I personally thought they were bland but my friend said they were really good. The dumplings were delicious. The egg rolls were somewhat of a let down. I guess I expected them to have veggies in the as well but they didn't. We also go the shrimp pad Thai (which isn't pictured.). We both thought the pad Thai and the BBQ were a bit sweet. It was good but the sweetness threw us off a bit. The pho was delicious. A must if I ever go back and the flight ... get the flight! Well worth it. Blueberry is the best in my opinion read more

This rooftop hideaway was the best discovery of our trip. The staff could not have been nicer nor more accommodating of our shrimp allergy. The steamed dumplings were a delicious start but nothing compares to the char-grilled pork chops. Outstanding dung flavor and tenderness. And to top off the experience, the summer evening was a perfect setting for good convo. read more

Aidan fusion, including Chinese, Taiwanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Mexican fusion... we came for dinner on a Saturday night. We were seated right away without a reservation. The outside seating on the rooftop was very nice! We ordered dumplings, shaken beef bao, vegetable spring roll, and Korean BBQ short rib. All looked nice and tasted fantastic, full of flavor but not too overpowering. The portion was not big, but good enough for the price. We loved the peanut butter sauce of vegetable spring roll! The shaken beef bao was a big success too. Of note, This restaurant is located on the 6th floor of a building in downtown, accessible through a small elevator in the main floor of the building. However, the main floor smelled like a public bathroom!!!! I understand the main floor maintenance is probably not the responsibility of Sky Blossom. However, as it is only way to get to Sky Blossom and the smell is sort of unbearable to many people including us, it may set many off before going to a nice dinner. Hence, one point deduction from the rating. read more
I've been wanting to try this place for a long time. Poor planning on my part, I came at noon on July 1 and it was simply too warm to sit out on the rooftop patio. Views are great but there are no umbrellas or fans to make daytime dining reasonable. I thought the Shrimp Tempura Sushi Taco was a unique twist for an appetizer. Chicken Fried Rice was good. Lots of egg in it. The Shaken Beef was the best. Good service and friendly staff. I would go again on a much cooler day or evening for the rooftop experience. read more

We came here for dinner on a girls night out, and while its a cute place with good ambiance and food/drinks, we were left unsatisfied. Portion sizes for their food are fairly small, in my opinion. I don't know if it's because we're just used to bigger portions at most places combined with the fact that we were hungry, it didn't quite hit the spot. Food was good over all. Some of the items we enjoyed is the KBBQ short ribs, and chicken clay pot. The drinks were amazing! Absolutely loved them. We ordered the pandan flan, but it left a bitter after taste so I think that was the only item that we didn't finish. Probably a place I'd go back for drinks but not dinner. It looked like they had an open area on the rooftop but we didn't get to check it out this time. read more

Visited here in October and it was a great time! The views are and the drinks were pretty good. Giving 4 starts instead of 5 because the reservation system was off. We waited in line for an hour and the man in charge of letting people go upstairs let others (who arrived after us) go ahead before us. Thankfully one of the staff members noticed what was going on and took us upstairs or else who knows how much longer we would have been waiting. Aside from that it was a great experience, and I am sure I'll be back when the weather is nicer. read more

A little rooftop bar action is always fun! Skyblossom was an awesome experience. The drinks were picture perfect and delicious, and our guacamole with wanton chips was perfection. The view was a nice bonus! We were able to see what seemed to be the view of all of Downtown Dallas! If the weather's right, this is the perfect spot to have a delicious pretty cocktail and an appetizer or two. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't too crowded either! read more

This is such a cute place! I recommend sitting on the rooftop for the views. From there, you can see the Dallas Eyeball and they have a cute photo prop background for pictures. I went around 3-4pm on a Friday and was seated quickly luckily. I would definitely recommend making a reservation on weekends cause it usually gets really packed. My friend and I ordered the spicy tuna taco, korean bbq, and the baos. The tacos were delicious! I would get this again. However, the Korean bbq and the Bao were just alright. The Bao was literally just steamed buns and beef. It had no flavoring and you would have to ask for sauce if you wanted. Also, they only came with two steamed buns but for the price, I would say they should give three. The korean bbq dish was ok as well. It's not as great as the other bbq dishes I have tried elsewhere. As for the drinks, I ordered the passion in paradise and it was yummy! I give them stars for the presentation for the foods and drinks for sure! read more
Chose this restaurant for my date night spot after seeing someone mention it as "romantic date restaurant" on a FB group I follow. I did my research and read a bunch of reviews first before I made my reservation. I saw a couple of 1 star reviews so I was really skeptical about coming here but the view and food looked appealing so I at least wanted to try it out once and I have ZERO regrets. - So, the 1 star review talks mostly about service. Esp from the hostess. If I'm being honest, the hostess I spoke to the first time wasn't too friendly (I don't think she even took my phone # down lol). Because I was aware of this, I literally called twice to confirm my reservation (and also to be seated on the patio). Luckily, they had our reso and we were seated on the patio right away. But the star of the evening was our server Michelle, she was super duper nice! And not just to us but all of her tables. A few of her tables asked to have their pictures taken and she not only took a few but took landscape AND portrait pictures. Like, I applaud her for that coz most people aren't that patient. Would deff request for her the next time I dine here. - The restaurant is located in DT Dallas right next to the eye ball. There's a parking garage about a block away but there are street parking too. The restaurant is quite small. The patio was almost full by the time we arrived (5:45pm on a Sunday). The inside maybe has 10 seatings (or less). We sat at a hi-top along the rail on the patio and had a great time looking at all the buildings and the people on the streets. I wanted to be able to see the sunset but ofc the sun was blocked by all the buildings lol.. it was still cool to see the colors of the sky change tho - Food was great overall. Everything was tasty, I think it's Vietnamese owned coz my (Viet) bf was surprised when he saw banh khot (mini shrimp cakes) on the menu coz we were expecting this place to be Asian-American but they were serving a traditional Vietnamese street food. Everything was priced reasonably, good portion, I honestly can't complain. As for drinks, we ordered Kirin Ichiban and Passion in Paradise which was dangerously good. Happy hour is great! Cocktails were so pretty and the ambiance was amazing especially due to the weather finally cooling down. Our server was so nice and made it a lovely spot to grab drinks. Parking can be a bit of a hassle since the parking garage is for tenants in the lofts below the bar! read more
Beautiful and relaxing outdoor patio for dining! I came to Sky Blossom a few weeks ago with some friends, and it was great! You take an elevator the the roof of the building, which is where the restaurant is at. There's some indoor seating as well as a very beautiful and spacious patio area with incredible views of Downtown Dallas. Definitely a lot of Instagram-able photo opportunities! We had a very relaxing and enjoyable lunch on the patio. All of the dishes were very reasonably priced and tasted great. I got some of the Sushi Tacos, and thought they tasted amazing! I also loved the drink I ordered. Fruity and delicious! The different bowls you can make all looked incredible as well, and my friends all thoroughly enjoyed their orders. I definitely want to come back on the weekend for brunch sometime, it looked like a very enjoyable patio to have some food and drinks at on the weekend! The service was very friendly and helpful, although a bit slow at times. Not too much of an issue though. I just loved how great the prices were, and how delicious the food was. Such a cool Dallas rooftop bar. They have food and drinks but we just popped in for a couple drinks! Though the drinks were beautiful to the eye, they were both very sugary. Not a bad thing by any means but could definitely give you a hangover in the morning! The bar and restaurant is very open with beautiful flowers and a fireplace when you walk in, the main feature is the big rooftop space that overlooks all the downtown skyscrapers. I'd give them a zero if I could. We walked in at quarter to nine pm on a Sunday. I asked to sit outside with several tables available and they said all of them were dirty. We could choose an inside table but they weren't willing to clean an outside one. We were laughed and giggled at by the hostess and co worker as we decided to leave. Obsessed. The rooftop vibe always makes me feel like Carrie Bradshaw lol. What I love is that the prices are reasonable and the food is actually really good. Our friend was in town for one night and she's a vegetarian. We took her here and they made the shrimp garlic noodles for her with NO shrimp and substituted it with lightly fried tofu. She went crazy over it! My husband got the beef bulgogi korean ribs and I got the salt n pepper wings with calamari. FIRE!!! The drink I had, had passion fruit inside and it was very tasty as well. First time in and you're really just paying for the rooftop view which is beautiful. We got there at 9 and they told us we could only order appetizers bc the kitchen was closed. We didn't mind but the guac, dumplings, and edamame were very bland. The drinks were ok as well. Again, just paying for the look of the drink and not the flavor. read more

My friend ordered a mojito that tasted like water w mint leaves & Also I had gotten the butterfly drink and it tasted like water and agave & my butterfly was a plain yellow mush VERY unlike the pretty pics I've seen of the butterfly on top of the drink on here! Cream cheese wontons 10/10 (pink sauce that comes with is 2/10 and tasted like jelly donut filling) Steamed dumplings 5/10 rubbery but tasty Bao buns 3/10 super dry & was missing components that were supposed to be inside? but if you get them pair it with their chili sauce Chicken Wings 7/10 nothing special but not bad View, atmosphere/ambiance 10/10 Server wasn't the nicest but got everything right 6/10 read more

First of many experiences to come is being on a Rooftop . Epic drinks and food. I thought the shaken beef bao could have been a bit warmer when it was placed on the table. This was my second time at Sky Blossom and it was just as good as the first time. This spot is particularly great for very small groups like 2-4 people. The drinks were so delicious and the food was full of flavor. The view from the rooftop can be really nice from certain angles. I will be back for sure. Decent views if you are sitting by the railing or standing up. At one point we moved where we were sitting hoping to get a better view. The food was ok and the drinks are definitely IG worthy. The service was good. I wish they had fans or misters, especially during a hot days. read more

Service was good, very attentive. Whenever I try a place for the first time. I love the pork chop, it had a sweet, tender taste and was amazing! Now, $28 for a pork chop and about 4 oz of white rice?? Definitely a little pricey. I would definitely try this place out for the vibes, they have a beautiful roof top, good drinks; but their price is a bit exaggerated. read more

Are reservations required?
I don't believe that they're required however , I highly recommend it . When I went it seemed to be a very popular/active location. So to guarantee access and at a decent time I would definitely suggest making reservations

Yes the rooftop is open for lunch. I made a reservation for a weekday and it was empty so we loved that. But I do hear it's best to reserve in advance for weekends.
How do you get a hold of someone to reserve a table for a future day? I have tried a couple times already.
You gotta go inside and slap the host. She'll know who to call ;)
Is there free parking?
I couldn't find any free parking so we parked on a street close by within walking distance (less than a minute) and it only cost us around $3 for 2 hours on a wednesday for the parking meter.
