    American Ninja courses
    Fred L.

While on a trip to Maryland in July we connected with family and took all the kids to Sky Zone. There were 4 kids in our group (4 year old, two 7 year old's, & a 9 year old). It was a Saturday before noon and it was not too crowded. If this is your first time going there you will have to fill out a waiver. I would recommend that you do that online before you arrive as they only had a few registration kiosks and it's a lengthy process. Inside there are a lot of places for the kids to play that involve either trampolines, foam ball pits or American Ninja style activities. There is an open trampoline area, rock climbing wall, balance ladder, basketball, dodgeball, and a wipeout zone (with operator controlled spinning arms). The American Ninja climbing area was great for older kids but younger kids may not be able to navigate all the courses as some required lots of reaching and upper body strength. There was staff there to make sure that everyone was acting responsibly and following the rules. As with a lot of places like this they do require you to buy their socks. There are lockers and an area to place your shoes and other items you don't want to carry around at the entrance to the right. There was enough there to keep the kids busy for 1.5 hours. Overall the kids had a great time!

    Parry time. Yummy pizza

Recently visited SZ. The place is cool. We visited on a Sunday. We got there at 11 there was hardly any other groups there. But by 12:30 I swear they place was becoming a zoo. It was getting crowed. Granted you have a time slot to JUMP on the trampolines. That's how they try and move people around the building so that it's not too crowed. If you want to jump after your alotted time, you pay for more time. The kids had fun. Even my baby (1yr) had a great time in the "free zone" section. Our host were tons of fun. They had our party room ready, pizza, drinks. They played musical chairs, and had a dance off (sorta) with the kids. Fun times.

There are a lot of activities for the children and the adults were also enjoying themselves talking and some were even jumping with their children. It's a great place for a party. I had a very disappointing experience at Sky Zone Columbia…read more On June 18, I purchased two Summer Passes for my kids for $107.48, which were supposed to be valid through August 31. We arrived around 6:45 PM, and the front desk employee scanned our passes and told me they had expired. I explained that I had purchased the Summer Passes just a few weeks earlier and asked if there might be a mistake or a system glitch. He insisted the passes were expired, so I asked to speak with a manager. Unfortunately, the manager was no more helpful. She repeatedly said there was nothing she could do because the system showed the passes as expired. I offered to show my receipt and my purchase confirmation to prove the passes were valid, but she refused to look into it. Instead of trying to verify my purchase or resolve what appeared to be a system error, she simply repeated that I didn't have a valid waiver. What made this experience even worse was how I was treated in front of my two 8-year-old children. My kids know that I teach them to always be honest and tell the truth, and after hearing the employees insist that our passes had expired, they looked at me as if I had lied to them. I ended up having to show them my receipt and purchase confirmation just to reassure them that I had been telling the truth. It was embarrassing and humiliating. When I asked for a refund because they were refusing to honor the passes I had paid for, the manager told me I had "five seconds" before she would call the police. I was shocked. I never became threatening or disruptive--I was simply asking them to verify my purchase and resolve the issue. What hurt the most was that, even though I had proof that I was telling the truth, I had to leave for the sake of my children. I didn't want the situation to escalate in front of them. Instead, I took them home feeling humiliated, after they had watched me be treated as if I were being dishonest despite having my receipt and purchase confirmation. I have never been treated so disrespectfully as a paying customer. Mistakes and system glitches can happen, but what matters is how a business responds. Instead of showing any willingness to investigate the problem or help a customer who had proof of purchase, they chose to dismiss me, embarrass me in front of my children, and threaten to call the police. We left with two disappointed kids and no resolution. I cannot recommend this location based on the way we were treated.

The staff was incredibly kind and gave us a 50% discount, which we did NOT expect and totally made our day. Our kids had an absolute BLAST! We had fun watching them run around! It's a newer facility with plenty of parking, a different layout than Frederick, and lots of attractions. The two-level go-kart track looked awesome, the climbing attractions were fun, and the kids had a great time overall. The employees working the attractions were friendly and did a good job interacting with the kids. Unfortunately, the operational side of our visit brought the experience down. We spent over 30 minutes trying to purchase an arcade game card because one of the kiosks kept freezing. There was a sign saying it might run slowly, but this was much more than "a few seconds." After notifying the front desk, we still had to wait quite a while before the issue was resolved, cutting into our play time. I also noticed several attractions were closed or out of order, and there didn't seem to be many employees walking the floor if guests had questions or needed assistance. While the staff at the attractions were great, finding help elsewhere wasn't easy. One thing that stood out was the amount of police presence around the property. I also noticed broken auto glass in the parking lot and numerous signs throughout the entrance stating that no guns or weapons were allowed. While I understand businesses post policies for safety, seeing so many signs along with the other observations made the atmosphere feel a little less comfortable than other locations we've visited. Overall, everyone still had fun, and that's what matters most. The facility itself has a lot to offer, but I think improving the guest experience, fixing equipment more quickly, and having more staff available would make a big difference. I'd visit again, but I hope to see some improvements next time.

Went here for a birthday party and brought my nieces with me. I saw a review on TikTok before I went and it actually looked way bigger, more stuff, and nicer than when you're actually there. Half the games weren't working, when taking the kids to get on rides it didn't seem like the people operating the rides cared much, as I had to make sure the girls were properly in the ride and fastened in tightly. Some of the ride seats belts and straps were broken, worn out, half way tearing. That's a huge safety hazard if the kids aren't strapped in tight, and after I secured them in there, they don't even come around to ensure they're in there right. It's like am I working here too, of course I care more about my child's safety. They have a height threshold for rides but kids under the height were still able to get on. It's just kids working there, one person working two rides. I constantly used sanitizing wipes to wipe the girl's hands because I felt it's so many germs around that place. Finally, had to take my niece to the bathroom, I asked her is she could hold it because the bathroom wasn't the cleanest, and it was only two stalls which makes no sense for a place that size with that many people. Very underwhelming and interesting fun place. Would not recommend.
