I had a good experience the first time came back again and unfortunately had a horrible experience. The person fixing my phone agreed on a price of 60$ +tax and once the work was complete upped the price to 109$ my phone screen isn't put all the way in and my phone is cracked all down the side. I understand if you can't fix the problem 100% but don't go charging 100$ when you agreed to a different price. I won't be coming back and I recommend SWIFT REPAIRS in Carmel mountain if you want quick and HONEST service. I hope you learn from your mistakes running your business this way hurts your customers and then you. My sons laptop computer HDMI insert was broken and his case was cracked. I called a few places and Skyland was the only place who said they could repair it. Most other places told me I would need to replace the motherboard because the HDMI was connected to it. The guys at Skykand we're fantastic! They repaired the HDMI by soldering a new one onto the motherboard and replaced the broken hinge and casing for a fraction of what other paces quoted me. I reached out to this shop via Yelp because my iPhone 6S battery had gotten to the point that it would no longer turn on, so I only had email from my computer to communicate with the world. Zaki was very responsive and knowledgeable, and provided an extremely reasonable quote. I also asked for help with the mic since it had been off for speaker calls or video sound for a long time and figured to get both taken care of at once. Duan was fast and friendly, and adhered to all safety precautions during covid crisis. He made a couple of mistakes with the mic that I had to go back for, but the two were very humble about it and of course did not charge anything additional to adjust the errors. Note: This review includes a couple of potentially valuable tips regarding broken phones. Earlier this week, my Samsung Note 5 finally took its last fall. I picked it up and there was a stripe down the middle of the screen. The screen no longer responded to touch. The buttons still worked, but who cares? Oh well. It's an old phone. The battery life isn't what it used to be. Time for a new phone. It was 5 minutes after closing time, so have to wait till morning. I tried the stylus, for laughs. It worked. (Valuable tip #1: Stylus might work when touch does not.) So I finished up with it and turned it off. Next day, I went down to get the new phone. Got everything set up and went to sync the new phone. Turned on the old phone and the screen was all black and purple. The LCD leaked and I couldn't see the screen to punch in the password. No synch today! And no, I hadn't given all my data to Google for "safekeeping". (Valuable tip #2: Unlock your phone completely while you can still see what's on the screen.) So what to do? I figured I'd call a cell repair shop to see what they could do. I searched near me, read some reviews, and Skyland Repair sounded good. I called and explained my problem to Z. He checked that they had the necessary parts, then said I could bring the phones in any time, that it would take a couple of hours to hook up the Note 5 and transfer everything, and he gave me a very reasonable quote. (I didn't care about repairing it, I just wanted my data.) I dropped the phones off. I came back in just under two hours, and they were just putting the Note 5 back together. They charged what they said they would charge. I have all my data on the new phone. I'm a very happy customer! I give a high recommendation for Skyland Repair, for sure! read more

Had a battery replaced on my iPhone. In the process of replacing the battery, my case was damaged by the repair person. When I pointed that out, the repair person attempted to repair the damaged case with glue and managed to get glue on the screen of the phone which I have not be able to completely remove. To his credit, he replaced the damaged case with a new one at no cost. But it has been about a month now and the new battery is now starting to malfunction. Once the battery gets to about 40% charged, the charge sudden goes to 0%. I would normally take my iPhone back to have them fix the problem, but I'm concerned that more damage might be caused and I have no confidence in their technical competence. read more

Do not go here. Real iPhone screens are high quality. I cracked my phone screen and he said he could repair it. I didn't realize he had a competitive price because he was putting on a low quality screen. My entire phone is now BLURRY. I feel like I've went from 4KHD to 240p. There's a slight blue tint on my phone now, it just looks extremely low quality. I seriously want to cry. I work on social media a lot and need to be seeing my photos in the best quality possible.
