This is the best dentist I've been to. I can't not say enough good things. Firstly, their precautions for COVID made me feel so at ease. Secondly, they're attention to everything made it a 5 star experience. I'm someone who gets very nervous for even a cleaning. They offered me numbing gel before my cleaning and checked in with me the whole time. The plus of watching your personal tv for Netflix made it even better. Then, when I had to come back for a filling they made me feel so at ease the entire time and checked in on me the next day to see how I was feeling. I've been a long time patient of Dr. Ned's since the clinic was first opened in West Loop. Dr. Ned and his team have adopted a major transformation in their operations to make patients feel comfortable and safe to come during COVID times. Patients hands are sanitized, temperature taken, social distance maintained, glass barriers installed, mouth rinsed for 30 sec, furniture cleaned in between sessions... all the way to clinical staff wearing double layer of masks or heavy-duty ones in some cases. Plus add to it all, above and beyond personalized service at every visit. (I have a fairly unique dental case that require regular check and Dr. Ned welcomes me to a monthly drop-in to track my progress.). Over the weekend I wasn't able to eat or drink anything without searing pain shooting through my entire mouth and finally had to call Skyline Smiles to ask if they were doing emergency visits... after consulting with them it was deemed an emergency and I went in... I ended up having to get three extractions done and I could not be more impressed with the team at Skyline Smiles... Not only are they the most kind hearted people, they are truly talented dentists... Dr Deepak and Dr Rosh put me at such ease with their impeccable bedside manner. And, the most incredible part is after three extractions the pain is so minimal I forgot I even had surgery.. I don't know how Dr Deepak did it, but he's magical! I used to have a strong aversion to the dentist, but will not hesitate to go back.. hopefully, next time won't be such an emergency! From the moment you walk in, the staff is very warm and welcoming! I've never really had to wait a long time which I really appreciate (hate having an appt at a medical facility and end up waiting 30+ mins to be seen!) I used to dread going to the dentist, but I actually look forward to coming to Skyline. With Netflix on, I feel like the time just flies and I don't have time to be anxious or scared. Everyone in the office is incredibly pleasant and helpful. The front desk is a bunch of sweethearts and the doctors & assistants are hilarious. Dr. Ned is the gold standard for professional oral care. Went in to get a wisdom tooth pulled. It was causing me a lot of pain so unjust wanted to get in as soon as possible. They got me in at the West loop location the upcoming Saturday which is great because of my work schedule I can't go during the week. The receptionists are very nice and helpful as was the assistant who prepped me for the doctor. They all try to make your visit as comfortable and convenient as possible. I got Dr. Ned who was very nice and upbeat guy. He knows he stuff and is willing to answer any questions. The procedure went smoothly and I barely felt a thing. The only note I would make, is at one point while removing my tooth someone walked by in the hallway and started up a conversation while taking my tooth out. I'm not one to fear going to the dentist but I know plenty of people are and they may not be so understanding when their doctor has sharp objects in their mouth and the doctor isn't even looking. All together this has been my favorite dentist in Chicago. Their second location in Roscoe Village is just a few blocks from my apartment and I will definitely be making more appointments with Dr. Ned. read more

Don't use this dentist the last 3 times they have lost my insurance not verified insurance and billed me stating they verified insurance and then tried charging me. Then today made a appt 3 weeks ago for 8am and now they are claiming I had a middle of the day appt and I verified and when I asked to speak to someone they claimed that person no longer works here and the last 3 times I get the same reply. The front desk turn over is ridiculous and they treat you like your terrible and forgetful. Stay away! Unless you would like to be charged fees that don't exist. read more

I came in to get my bottom permanent retainer fixed. It popped out while flossing and had to be glued back. Dr. Marri was very thorough and took x-rays to get the aligning of my teeth to make sure the wire fit properly. She double checked after the wire got glued in and noticed it was still loose and took the time to in-glue it and then re-glue it in. I was extremely happy with the job they did. Dr. Marri answered all my questions and I was very comfortable. Would highly recommend! read more

I have healthy teeth and I only go to the Dentist for annual checkups and to have my teeth cleaned. I have been going to this place in the loop for 10 years and have been happy with it. Recently my hubby had a problem with work done with our regular dentist. We saw Dr Ned and he gave a very honest opinion and even helped us prove that what the original dentist did was a mistake and they should fix it. This helpful act made us switch to him and see what his practice offers. The place is very modern and has all the technology to back it up. My teeth was cleaned by Emilia and she is very good at what she does. Dr Ned did my check up and I feel that I can trust this doctor. Great experience for a first time patient. They got me in early, I was able to watch TV during the entire process, the x-rays were fast and easy with good guidance and care. I would recommend if you like it here, check the prices of any major service against other places before you have the work done. People do not shop dentist prices usually, we just had a time where our young child needed braces to fix a tooth, and would still likely need them again when he was a teen. First place we visited showed us immediately that Skyline was charging double for the same work. Once we moved him my wife and I tried a new place closer to my home in the South Loop, who had also priced the work I needed for even less than half. I dont know if it was the exact same work being done, but they both had the same end result, to remove a small infection. It cannot hurt to check around, if you want to cut your out of pocket cost, avoid Skyline. read more

Nice people but their "in-house" insurance plan for non-insurance is a joke. I paid for the $129 for X-Ray.. Evaluation and I thought a cleaning but was told I needed a 'Deep' cleaning which would be extra.... $800 extra. Sorry but this might be a great place but not for the poor to middle class. read more

The only word that comes to mind is AWESOME! I was having severe pain from wisdom teeth coming in. My usual dentist wasn't able to get me in to address it for a month. Skyline scheduled me in the next week. Dr. Ned made me feel comfortable and taken care of during the entire process. I got my teeth removed without going under sedation, something that would have typically been really scary, but he talked through everything and it was a completely painless, easy process. I have terrible anxiety when it comes to dental appointments, as in phobia level fear. However, when you are watching The Office on Netflix while getting your cleaning done, Michael Scott provides just enough of a distraction so you forget about your fears. Skyline Smiles offers a lot of nice amenities that I've never seen at other dental offices i.e. Netflix in the dental chair, coffee from a Keurig machine, etc. I love that I could choose a show right before my cleaning. (I wonder if anyone wants to stay in the chair just to finish the episode they are on). Also, the glasses are a nice touch. Who likes to be blinded by the light they shine on you while they are performing procedures/cleaning. However, it's not all about the bells and whistles. Sarah, my hygienist was very nice and thorough (she is also really cute too, but I digress). Quick tip - they also have Vaseline available if you ask for it. Big plus for me as I tend to get chapped lips. Finally, I hate when dentists spend a total of 30 seconds with you and the hygienists do all the work. After my cleaning, Dr. Ned was extremely attentive and walked me through my x-rays and additional work that I may consider. All-in-all best experience I could have asked for that may (slightly) decrease my fear of dentists. read more

Let me start off by saying that I although I do not have a fear of dentists, I am not a fan of going to their offices..and I've been to many. Often times they are sterile, grey, and cold. My perception of Dentists all changed after going to Skyline Smiles from a referral through my colleague. I loved the caring staff and energy of the office. I went years with dental issues on a specific molar, and Dr. Ng and staff were able to diagnose and fix it. Whenever I asked a question about my treatment plan, they were very thorough in their answer. They were very transparent with cost, as I had quite a bit of work done. I have no complaints! Since I had a great experience, I recommended my Mom to this office since her dentist was unable to help diagnose the reason for the pain she was having on a tooth she had a root canal procedure on. One appointment with Dr. Worth, and he figured out the issue and she has been pain-free since! Nothing but good things from the great service at this office. Bonus: Never waited more than 5 minutes for an appointment. (And I had many!), Watch Netflix in your chair, glasses that help keep bright lights from your precious eyes, and this was new to me (as previous dentists never used this) but the spacers to hold your mouth open during a procedure....#winning! read more

Let's be honest, who likes to go to the dentist? When you walk into this place it's just an ambiance of good energy. They really are very attentive and know that you are there for help or relief. Front desk was so kind and helpful with the appointment, I literally called 3 hours before and they were able to squeeze me in their schedule. They have a beautiful interior with a TV that plays your favorite shows and view your X-rays as well while the procedure is in process (This literally blew my mind). The support staff is amazing (Jay, you the man). They made me feel like "My pain" was the most important issue and helped me right away. Getting work done at there west loop office was not only convenient but strangely fun (I'm still confused about it). The staff is super personable and friendly, as for Dr.Ned he really cares for his patients and treats everyone like a friend. I have been going go Skyline Smiles for a year now and i have no intention on ever seeing another dentist again. Also Skyline Smiles understands that people can't constantly take off work to go to the dentist that's why they open later in the day and stay open late into the evening. I was amazed by this office. While I was in Chicago, I came in for a basic cleaning and was pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff and high tech gadgets. I agree with the other reviewers here when they say that Dr. Ned truly cares about his patients. He thoroughly explained what was going on with my teeth by showing me my own x-rays and pointing to specific areas of my teeth that may have issues. I have been to many dentists, and not one of them took the time to explain it like he did. After looking at my x-rays, he immediately said "Oh, you're a flosser!" (which by the way I have only started flossing 2-3 times a week for the past 6 months, so normally I do not get such a positive reaction). It was pretty cool that he could tell what was going on right away. He was going through the x-rays with me while I was sitting in the chair by zooming in and pointing at things to me on the TV screen. It also helps that you can watch Netflix and/or Amazon Prime while getting your teeth scraped and poked at. ;) At the end of my appointment I had a clean and sparkly smile and felt like I knew so much more about how my teeth were doing.
