The facial was so relaxing that I actually fell asleep twice! Her touch was unbelievably gentle, and she worked the products into my skin so effortlessly that the entire experience felt like a face massage. I left feeling refreshed, pampered, and with a few skincare products to take home. Honestly, I'd stop by again just for the café alone, but the spa experience made it even more special. I can't recommend Albion Gardens enough.

The tuna onigiri was alright, but the chicken one was addicting. So much more flavorful. I also tried the cream soda in the strawberry flavor and it was AMAZING on a hot day of walking around. I was probably annoying everyone in the workshop by sipping on it every few seconds. We previewed some of the skincare and makeup there. I definitely want to try a a facial here sometime!

Ever since i signed up to the page, i received lots of scammer calls, random emails, and random text messages. the owner promised me that i will receive information about his aromatherapy classes and so on. It's been almost 3 weeks and I never got a single email and his classes. I checked my email history and there's no "the living temple" in any of my emails. Usually, there's a "welcome email" when you sign up to something right? I didn't get any. No class and lectures. Nothing. he definitely sold my information. i know this 10000% because I haven't signed up for anything in the past few days before I came in and the few days after I came in. I never received scammer calls, texts, or emails until after I visited this place. I really liked this place too. I love the aromatherapy and smell here but I am going to avoid this place from now on. Beautiful products but HORRIBLE ethics and morals.

It's a small place - and street parking can be tricky. But I was fortunate to get a spot right out front. I stepped inside and saw the various containers of products and was pleased. Not only were there things that I use every day, but the prices were ridiculously affordable. Isela (theeee sweetest person) gave me a brief, but thorough "tour" that was absolutely fascinating. She answered any and all of my questions and provided me with a few donated containers for my purchase. So far, the star of this visit are the scented lotion and hand wash. Can't recall the name. But they are pricier than the other products. I don't care at all. I LOVE the scent. As a matter of fact, I'm going in this weekend for some more of the hand soap. I have it in my bathroom (foaming pump) and my kitchen (regular hand soap pump). I also diluted it to use as a shower gel. YES, doggone it!!! I'm kinda addicted! This is one of those places that you should actually do a personal field trip to. It will change your life. Believe it. Highly, highly recommended! UPDATE: I went back in for more hand soap concentrate and some retinol serum. By the way, soap and lotion brand name is "Further". Alyssa assisted me and she is an absolute DOLL. And I met her husband and best friend, who happened to be in the store. Simply delightful. I think this is going to be another one of my "happy" places.

I got there at 11am but it wasn't open yet so I called but voicemail was full so I waited until the lady got there which was about 20mins. Kelly helped us to gather and purchase three things: small dried chinese ginseng root ($9), Herbal Tea Blend ($6) to hopefully remediate canker sore symptoms, and a custom made herbal oil ($20) for natural pain management. She spent quite a bit of time with us, since the last two things needed the backroom to custom formulate. Square is their payment processor, with credit cards and Venmo being accepted. Types of product: -- a large collection of herbs, available as single ($10 per oz) or combined ($15 per oz). -- donated herbs and dry goods section: visitors can place or take shelf-stable products. Would have thought -- collective: various donation based sponsored clinics/classes. one example is 'Intro to Herbalism', taught once a month (first Saturday of every month). -- chocolates from Endorfin foods -- custom made essential oils, with testers -- incense sticks and sets -- loose teas at $3 - $4 per oz -- books and literature -- apothecary supplies -- gemstones and tarot cards The inside is super organized, promoting a sense of calm to explore. Kinda reminded me of some of the shops in Sedona, AZ. Their website is also very good, neatly organized to help you find what you need. Parking is limited (one driveway spot for customers), but street parking in the area during the day is not so bad. I think the best description about their business is what they wrote about themselves: "Green Wisdom provides highest quality bulk herbs, ethically sourced, and apothecary ingredients and supplies. We have a skilled herbalist on staff at all times to answer questions, create personalized formulas, and offer assistance. We are also one of the most respected herb schools in California, offering apprenticeships, workshops, and individual classes. In 2020 we will be providing donation-based herb clinics staffed by our advanced apprentices and overseen by trained herbalists."

Zero stars if I could…read more I called to check the status of my medication. The person who answered didn't greet me or say anything, so I explained the reason for my call. He abruptly responded, "Name?" After I gave him my name, he put me on hold without saying a word. A few minutes later, he came back on the line, but I couldn't clearly hear what he said, so I politely asked him to repeat it. His response was, "We're super busy in the store, okay? Your medication is ready," and then he hung up. The next day, I went through the drive-thru to pick up my medication. I waited for a while, and no one greeted me or acknowledged that I was there. I finally pressed the call button, and the woman who answered rudely said, "We saw you. We're busy in the store." I'm not sure why they seem to think customers can somehow see how busy they are over the phone or through the drive-thru speaker. Being busy is understandable, but there's no reason to be rude. A simple, "Thank you for waiting. We'll be right with you," would have made all the difference. Courtesy and basic customer service shouldn't disappear just because the store is busy.

This is a ZERO star review…read more As a member of Yelp, I try to be very objective about the places that I go so that it helps others make informed decisions on where to eat or get various forms of help. I am proud to be an Elite member. However in this instance, I am a very upset father. I have two daughters that have Nephrotic Syndrome, a kidney disease. One has already had a transplant and the other is on dialysis awaiting her transplant. For my daughter who has had her transplant she is on certain medications that require a very strict schedule and cannot be missed. Now my daughter does have a tendency to order her refills late, but on this case that was not the issue. So I called in the refill and it was to be ready at 3:15PM. So I call at 5 to make sure it is ready and it says it will be ready at 4 PM which told me they did not it in stock because for some reason they don't stock enough of this medication. So, I am waiting on hold for an hour. Not 5 minutes or 10 minutes, an hour. 1 person in front of me for an hour, ummm no. That is what you call laziness and not wanting to pick up the phone. They had two people working along with the pharmacist. And not one of you can answer the phone. GARBAGE So I hang up and call the store manager. Not there but shift lead answers and says she will transfer me to the pharmacy losing the direct line. What happens, no one answers. So I call back again and I tell her I will wait while she gets them on the phone. Finally the pharmacist answers and says they don't have the full amount but can fill a partial. That is fine, but answer the freaking phone. You are not that busy, it is just laziness on the part of your employees. It is pitiful for someone to have to go through that. It is very unprofessional and a very bad look. It is not the first time I had to wait on hold but it was never that long by a lot. Get your act together and make sure your employees act accordingly. RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!

Not only is this woman one of the most talented humans alive, but she is such an amazing and kind person and getting to be tattooed by her has become such a highlight of my life. When I first met her, I was in a really bad place with my health. I was living with some very serious health issues and was just overall struggling so much and truthfully, I felt like a foreigner in my own body. I first got a Wicked tattoo done by her and when I walked into Supersweet, I was so nervous. I had many other tattoos but I was just in a very vulnerable place and at that time, everything made me anxious. When she sat down with her designs, what she had come up with took my breath away. It was so much better than I could have ever imagined and it was the most stunning design I'd ever seen. As we sat down to get started, she could tell that I was nervous and was so gracious, gentle, compassionate and understanding, and really took her time to make sure I felt safe. This meant the world to me. After that, I was scheduled to have a tattoo with her again, and I needed to cancel bc I ended up having emergency back surgery. She was, again, so kind, loving, understanding and supportive. I have since come in and gotten quite a few more tattoos with her and for the first time in so long, my body feels like my own again and I am excited to look down and see my beautiful tattoos done by her. I fully intend to be her client from now until, honestly, however long she'll have me. Her work is stunning and I have so much fun at our sessions. She is someone I deeply appreciate and I truly couldn't be more grateful for Alexa! She's such a kind human, that my husband, who SWORE he would never get a tattoo started warming up to the idea because he finally felt safe and comfortable and that was solely because of her. He officially just got his first tattoo from her. I am so excited for more tattoo fun and I HIGHLY recommend booking with her!

I thought parking would be tough, but i went on a Saturday afternoon and found parking relatively easily a block away on Lake Shore Ave. The quality of work is top notch and my tattoo came out exactly as i wanted it to. Strongly recommend!
