This place deserves negative stars! The office staff, particularly those handling the billing have unlocked an new level of lowliness. My husband and I have been in constant communication with the office, regarding a billing issue that my HSA provider made us aware of. We were charged approx $500 for a service IN JULY that ended up costing $79 per my EOB provided by the insurance and sent to the HSA provider. They agreed that the "Card used", the HSA account, would be refunded after a couple of months of back and forth. Still after being promised the refund, nothing. After many many calls, emails, and my husband going into the office to have a face to face conversation on what the status was, a particular individual decided to call the police on him! IN WHAT WORLD IS THAT OK? Defamation, possibly, that a patient, who has not been given the decency of open communication, lies and money that's not coming back to our pockets ANYWAY, are being forcefully withheld and having the police called? Its December, and I'm still calling, and emailing yet no resolve. Better Business Bureau, HERE WE COME!! read more

I have to admit, I'm not a fan of Skyview anymore. My first two times I had a great experience. I saw Dr. O. She was very friendly and the staff was amazing. However today I was not thrilled. I went in to have a routine cleaning and then fix an old filling that another dentist did a poor job on many years ago. The dentist did not look over my teeth after the cleaning, he just went ahead with fixing my filling on the front tooth. Once I got home I realized my tooth wasn't as flat as it was upon going in. One of the dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth beforehand agreed with me that my tooth was more slanted than when I had come in. So I came back in, and the dentist, Julian Wade, insisted that it was my teeth alignment and that he didn't do anything wrong. He kept telling me I needed a crown. That I would need crowns on multiple teeth. Which I knew was not the truth. I felt like I was being pushed into getting multiple crowns for no reason, and I would not agree to that at all. I have gone through many photos before I went in and my tooth was much flatter than or is now after he "fixed" my filling. I am so upset that he insisted it was not his fault. I went back in to allow him to right his mistake and was dissapointed when he did not take responsibility. I am very dissapointed and will not be returning to this office. My husband had a similar experience last time he went here as well. He was told he needed extensive work done, and when he got a second opinion at his Ortho appoinent they were concerned that crowns were even mentioned as an option. I'm so upset about how my front tooth is now way more slanted than when I went in. I hope people do their research before chosing this practice. I would also like to add, I was uncomfortable with how much social media and positive reviews were mentioned while I was there. No office should be asking for positive 5 star reviews. read more

Awful experience. They tapped out my dental insurance by billing $1,333 for a 30 minute scaling and root planing+ another $500.00 out of pocket. I gave a deposit of over $3100 for future work. After going home and reviewing their paperwork, they estimated an insurance payment of $5800 towards their $42,000 quote for my teeth. When I realized that I have a maximum $1500 per year on my dental insurance, I pointed this out to them and requested my deposit be returned. Of course, this office was not able to issue the credit back to my card. Per their instructions, I wrote a refund request letter and mailed it to their office in Pasadena and made several phone calls inquiring about the status of my refund request. To make a long story short, I finally had to put a stop payment on my credit card, and after several months, received the permanent $3,121 back to my card from my bank. read more

Go somewhere else. Staff is good for convo but that's it. I went in for a treatment and getting crowns and .... terrible temporary crowns, couldn't eat from the pressure of them, painful, sensitivity was 100/10 and staff would talk right outside my room and make snide remarks. Only 1 assistant was nice to me- wish i remembered her name. I went almost 3 months with constant pain and not being able to eat or chew properly. Once i told them i wasn't going back they offered all these "free" and "discounted" services. NOPE and they were supposed to call me when they sent my info to another dentist to continue my treatment plan.... THEY NEVER DID. read more

I've unfortunately had an awful experience here. The best part was root canal and extraction themselves. I got an infection so bad I had an abscess in my gum and was on antibiotics for a month. Then when I finally got my bridge it was so utterly disappointing and half assed that I cried. Still have to go back and not looking forward to it read more

I saw an ad on the internet that this dental office was offering a dental grant. Then, once they get you in the chair, they pull you in. The staff was ok. They ask patients "what are we doing today?" Shouldn't the staff know the plan about the treatment to be done? I will never go back to this dental office. They ruined the smile I used to have. Plus they're "crown" happy. Skyview dental is the best. my dental hygienist Shannon Lindberg soon to be Shannon Russell... is the one with the beautiful blue / green eyes! i am always comfortable while I get my teeth cleaned. anyone that goes will get the best treatment. I hit on my hygienist all the time and she hasn't drilled a hole down one of my teeth yet just to cause me pain so that tells me I am making some sort of progress lol. but needless to say both offices in Temecula and Murrieta are great! I stay because of the care I recieve, also my hygienist is a drop dead knock out. let me tell you, I don't need nitrous when she is doing my dental work. she is all the pain killers I need! so I give them 10 stars if I could! read more

This place is a factory in and out in and out. They looked at my teeth and came up with a estimate of almost $5000. They said I need it two teeth polled I almost went along with their shenanigans, went to another Dennis that had been a Dennis for 40 years and took a look at the estimate and checked out the two teeth they wanted to pull and did a test on the route of the teeth and said they were fine they didn't need to be pulled I would stay away from this place. This is the 2nd dentist I have tried since going on a new Dental plan. The first dental office was a horrible experience on many levels and the typical upcharge shenanigans were very maddening. Went dentist shopping and tried Skyview. Nope!! Beware of this dental office. The office manager was a big bully and they charged me for a cleaning that I knew should be covered by my insurance. I called my insurance the following day and they said "yes" it is covered and I should not have been charged. I called Skyview and the office Mgr answered with a rude greeting and left me on hold until I finally hung up. When I called back it went to voice mail. Instead of just crediting back the charge to my CC I have had to spend numerous hours on calls with the insurance companies. They are sending me a refund but I have been waiting over 2 Months! and it still hasn't arrived. Ugh Now I'm going to have to spend more time shopping for another dentist and am not holding my breath that I'll land on a honest, capable dental office that has integrity and cares about their patients and reputation! read more

I first went to Skyview Dental Care to have dental work performed after being offered a partial cosmetic dentistry grant. As an AMAZING Dental Care Facility I've come to discover, located in Temecula, CA, Skyview Dental Care has been nothing short of OUTSTANDING throughout the full course of my dental treatment plan visits. I was really nervous and embarrased, to say the least, prior to my first appointment with Skyview Dental Care because of the major dental work I knew I needed, and I do mean "MAJOR" dental work I knew I needed. I didn't know what to expect, whether I would be criticized for my poor dental hygiene status or whether I would be talked to by the Dentist or Dental Assistants in a manner that would make me feel uncomfortable. I mean my self esteem was on the rocks, so-to-speak, because of my missing teeth, gapped teeth, crooked teeth, you name it. I had not smiled with confidence in years and was actually afraid to smile. My very first appointment with the Skyview Dental Care team resulted in my nervousness quickly dissipating. Based on the superb care and professionalism from the Skyview Team, I quickly felt comfortable to be there. I was talked to with respect and felt their caring demeanor was very genuine. I am no longer nervous to go to the dentist, thanks to Dr. O and the staff at Skyview Dental Care. They are the nicest, most caring, and most professional dentistry team you'll ever meet, in my opinion and based on my experience. Dr. O, Alejandra V., and the other Alejandra (two staff professionals with the same first name "Alejandra") are the primary professionals who have been and are continuing to provide my dentistry treatment. They have been OUTSTANDING. They explain every process with me in a manner I can easily understand. They also always ensure I fully understand every process and asks if I have any questions. I also receive those helpful appointment reminder phone calls or text messages from Tori or Amy several days before my appointment. Thank you all for that. Dr. O, Alejandra V and Alejandra, have also provided me with great educational tips to maintain my new and improved dental appearance. They are ALWAYS so very friendly. I just cannot say enough great things about this amazing dentistry facility and team. My family and I have been patients at Skyview Dental Care since it was Magic Hand Dental and through several ownerships of the business. There was a point at which we almost moved to another dentist. However, the excellent staff, especially Shannon, Carissa, Vanessa and (last but not least) Dr. Sylvia turned things around in just one visit. I have needed two crowns for longer than I will admit and I was afraid to do it. Dr. Sylvia helped me to understand what was happening and why it was important. She took the time to truly explain dental hygeine and provided suggestions for how to maintaining mine. I learned a lot in that first visit and, after that, felt as though I could trust her to take care of my crowns. The ever patient and skillful Dr. Sylvia did an incredible job, even though I was a big baby about it. She did not judge, but was instead patient and kind. Dr. Sylvia is this way each and every time, consistently. She treats every patient as though they are the only one in the office, even if she is busy. She gets to all of us in a timely manner and it is always worth the wait (and there is never a real wait becuse the scheduling staff are very good at their jobs). She is by far the best dentist I have ever gone to for dental care. And as for the staff, Shannon is the kindest and most competent hygienist one could ever hope for. She knows her patients and, like Dr. Sylvia, treats all of them as though they are the only ones. Shannon has a beautiful radiance about her that permiates into her work. The office knows its patients well and treats them like family. Yes, its a business but it is also one where trust is placed in professionals charged with taking care of our dental health, something people like me often dread. As most, I really dislike the dentist. I usually would avoid going because I take really good care of my teeth as it is, and it seems that every time I go in, there are multiple cavities or something that needs to be done. I started coming here last year and cannot tell you enough how happy I am with this place. Alicia is absolutely FANTASTIC, she makes it almost enjoyable to come to the dentist. She is very friendly and is very thorough in her exams. My shy 5 year old son had his very first dentist appointment here last year, Alicia took care of him as well, and even he loved it. She chatted with him about cartoons and school, and really made him feel comfortable. My son and I have both had 2 appointments here each, cavity free, and I am so happy that I chose this office. read more

This place is terrible. I have NEVER posted a bad review on anyone. I normally dont even take the time out as my days are so busy, BUT this time i will! I had my teeth done here when it was Magic Dental. Magic Dental did all tge cosmetic work on my teeth which was around $10500 at the time. I had a crown fall off so tried to go back but found Skyview. Apparently it changed owners. I decided i was there and they had my charts, so ill give it a shot. Feels more like a sales practice then a dentist. They stated they couldn't re cement the crown which i saved. And they sold me an extraction. Bone graft. Crown next to the tooth i had. Started scraping at all my good teeth telling me i truthfully should remove and check them all. Then told me i needed a cleaning. Full upper and lower. This alone would take around 1.5 hours. I said ok to all. Turns our they couldn't do half of my mouth because of the work they just did. We were done cleaning in 30 min because of it. Yet they still charged me $400. Great deal for them. I let them do a bone graph. Stitches came undone next day. Within 2 weeks temporary crown fell off. Bone graph fell out. Every time i called i was put on hold for 12-15 minutes. I run a business, and time is valuable. I would hang up and call back! Then on appointment day i sat in the chair waiting for1:15 minutes! For then to tell me there was something that came up and they would need to re schedule! I was done. I called and stated i wanted the permanent crown i was charged for or my money back for the crown. Wasn't even asking for the rest as i was being simple. They started they would call me by end of day. That didn't happen. I called next day and same thing. End of day. Never happened do i called to be told they couldn't refund my money as the crown was already made, and legally they can't give me my crown. This place is a Rip off and I would never recommend!! To think this was me, had it been my child I would have responded much more aggressively. read more

I've been coming to this dentist for over 15 years it was bought out and now they have a new dentist in office. 18 months ago I had a crown put in and it just came out. I needed it glued back in. They temporarily glued it in and then I went back a week later for a cleaning expecting all the other information be available. That was not done. I then had a crown pop off again and I needed it glued in until until June when I had time to get the work done. The new dentist at the location said he would not glued in for fear it would fall off and I would choke on it. Again they installed his crown 18 months ago it should not have came out with the mouthguard that pulled out of my mouth. The service was very disappointing clearly I would direct anyone else away from this dentist at this point. read more

Offices like this are the reason people hate going to the dentist. Like so many other people, I fear going to the dentist. It had been several years since I had my teeth checked and it finally caught up to me. I was in severe pain, not able to eat or drink without discomfort, so I broke down and made an appointment. The dentist, Dr. Wade, looked at my x-rays and said very sarcastically, "Oh you're in pain? It might have something to do with that giant cavity you have." The he took his little metal hook and mirror and inspected every tooth, calling out a series of numbers and abbreviations. He finished and told me I needed a few crowns, but that he wouldn't do it unless I agreed to "recommit to my dental care." What an arrogant thing to say to someone! Then he left and I was alone again in the chair, thinking someone was going to come in and help me with the aforementioned "giant cavity." But no, the next person to come in was the office manager to talk billing. First thing she said was how great my insurance was. Then she showed me an invoice with a bunch of medical stuff and the portion I was going to be responsible for was over seven thousand dollars! I asked if the doctor was coming back to help with the severe pain i was in and she said no. So I left about after about an hour, in the same amount of pain, with a "giant cavity," and an invoice for thousands of dollars. Like I said, this is why people hate going to the dentist. I will follow up this review once I see the bill for this appointment. read more

Dr. Wade ensures to treat his patients with extra care, taking the time to recognize special circumstances unique to each patient. I appreciate him taking this into consideration when doing dental work. A lot of patients have had a bad experience with previous dental work, causing anxiety to go back to the dentist. The dentist that works here,which is not contracted with my insurance, but how and hell was he able ro work on my husband and charge him for services that where never done. He charged us 14,000 dollars, which my insurance covered part if it. This office is f---en joke. Run, i would never let this asshole touch my dogs teeth. Please, dont use them. I wish we can get our money back, but we had to pay 9000 on our end for work that wasnt done. I called the office manager about 1 yr ago so we can get at least half od our money back. F---EN JOKE!! I was referred to Skyview Dental by their sister office, Parkview Dental. I have had a lifetime of experiences with the Dental industry that can only be compared to being tortured in a dungeon during the Dark Ages of Europe. I have had military, and civilian dentist that have left me with PTSD that prisoners in Guantanamo Bay would sympathize with. I'm in my 60's now and sick and tired of being lectured, insulted, talked down to, and otherwise cajoled into putting up with the horrendous and extreme pain while having work done on my teeth and gums. I'm in a place in my life where I cahappily pay for sedation that renders any suggestion of even minor pain obsolete. That said, Skyview Dental provide me with care that is friendly, professional, honest, PAINLESS, accurate, and complete. Dr Oh, Stephanie, Tory, and Alejandro are all the best I've ever had. I'm still under their care and I look forward to completing my appointments with them. I would recommend them to anyone who has the same issues with dentists that I do. read more

After 9 phone calls requesting that I confirm and reconfirm in addition to finding out that the grant program offered is not exactly as advertised. Despite explaining several times in addition to including in the application that I had dental insurance through work (does not cover everything), I was informed that the "grant program" would allow a discount and that anything my insurance does not cover, I could apply for Care credit to take care of the balance. These options are available at my own dental office and had I had the option of charging the expense, I wouldn't have sought another option for having my dental work done. I feel that this should have been explained during one of the NINE phone calls received when confirming my appointment. This was a total bait and switch type of scam and should not be legal. I'm sure there's fine print somewhere but when you're speaking with someone from the program you would think that you would not be tricked into switching your primary dentist to theirs. I will not be going to my appointment and hope that no one else is misled. read more
