    Pepperoni pizza
    Paula F.

It was less than average super oily pizza and the service was good. We were not expecting the best at this pizza place and got exactly what we expected. Being hungry and with not a lot of good choices we chose this. I first ordered a slice of Hawaiian but it was so flat and with little meat that I changed it to pepperoni last minute. The pizza sauce wasn't too sweet and the pepperoni was so small. It was well cooked. I used about 5 napkins to absorb the oil. My meal was nothing spectacular and I won't be back because it cost more than what it was worth and it wasn't great.

1st time I had it, was in burbank 2yrs ago b4 they came to Universal-original pepperoni was still great, but wasn't as good as the Detroit

I'm not gonna lie. This is the best pizza I've ever had in my entire life.! The first time I went in June and I tried a slice of the Angelino and I thought that was bomb. Then I went again with my friend last month. I ordered the Detroit with jalapeño and pepperoni. We got the hot honey & the ranch. It was so delicious that we had to order a second pizza to go home. I think we spent $100 on two pizzas but I wasn't even worried about it because I never had anything that amazing. I'm a pizza enthusiast and let me tell you when I say the best pizza I will still go back and spend a lot of money to eat their food, but I also found this app called too good to go and the third time I ordered it was on Sat night because it's also has become my boyfriend's favorite and it was his birthday on Sunday . I took the trolley up the hill and I only spent $17 on a pizza that would've been over $50. I had to walk down and I took the train back to hollywood but by the time my boyfriend arrived he was so happy that he had that as a part of his birthday gift. Thank you to the cooks. I truly have never been more satisfied in my life with any pizza. 。 i'm not sure if they will sell this in the frozen section at a store soon, but I would love to be able to get it at target

Overall: Not going to lie, my expectations were relatively low for a pizza joint on the City Walk. I expected expensive, mediocre food, but I was surprised how good the pizza was. Yes, it was expensive, but I think it was very delicious and would come here again for the pizza if I was at Universals! I stopped by here on a whim when I was at City Walk for an escape room. I would give it 4 stars due to the price and service. The Service: Service was minimal. You order at a counter, letting them know what pizza you would like. They heat up the pizza and call your name when it's ready. The restaurant is relatively busy, so tables full and were not cleaned up when people were finished so it was a bit messy. Service is the main piece where I am docking points for. The Food: I ordered the pepperoni pizza and the hot mario. Both pizzas were nice and crispy. It was crispy, but not burnt. The crust had a good amount of chew to it still and was thin. Good amount of toppings. If you are looking for a bit of spicy, I definitely recommend the hot mario. I loved the dollops of cheese on the top. I would recommend that they serve hot honey on the side if possible, but that's just a personal preference. One slice per person is pretty filling since the slices are on the larger side, but if you're hungry, you might want to order 2. Price: Very expensive for pizza - ranging between $10-12 a slice which is super pricey! It makes sense because it's on city walk and will be a more affordable option compared to some of the other restaurants. The Atmosphere: Very busy restaurant with seating inside, but we went after the park closed so it was super crowded and had to share a table with another group. Parking: Located in city walk so you have to pay for parking - I don't think they validate.

Yay!! What a great addition to CityWalk. First tried this chain up in Santa Clarita thanks to a Yelp Elite event! We frequently come to Universal as pass members so this is a great spot for a bite to eat. Like the name says, you can order by the slice or get a whole box but we like to get a few different slices to try them all. The slices are HUGE and they really fill you up. I went for the "spider" one which had black garlic drizzle. Very strong flavor but very delicious!! It really grew on me. The restaurant itself is pretty small. They have some tables but also bar seating. The pickup counter is inconvenient so you're kind of just stuck standing there waiting. We probably could've waited outside but didn't want to miss our name since we wanted to go home after a long day at the park. Otherwise great spot and worth coming to! IG: @ammysalamii

Do not order the Caesar salad. It's $11 for 6 pieces of lettuce and horrible dressing. Literally inedible. Save your money. Pizzas are ok but I was hoping I could eat here with my kids.

Addie or Abby. Calling for you, a beautiful, lovely worker with dark hair... wearing a hat.... The day we visited on Nov 1st, you made our experience exclusive. How did you do it and why should others utilize your hospitality as an example?? Well, what you didn't know was we had to wait to celebrate our anniversary for 7 months past the date. We have been on a strict nutrition plan and waited this ONE day to indulge. When we sat down at Bubba Gump Shrimp, we were hardly noticed. Enough time to up and leave. So we did. We came to this spot, met you, and you sold us on your fabulous description on why a slice of pizza was worth our visit. You weren't kidding- it WAS great!! I tossed my water in the trash and you were standing there cleaning the area when my water hit the garbage and splashed up in your face :( You were SO sweet, you wiped your face and kept hustling on your job and said nothing. I said "Oh my gosh I'm so sorry!!" You sweetly replied, "It's okay!" We both sort of chuckled but had someone done that to me in a busy work spot such as yours, I would take been taken aback. You didn't personalize this, and as mentioned you were kind to begin! Thank you for being so great and we loved the pizza!! You're a gem and I hope they notice you through your hard work :) I smell a promotion.... And, because of you, we will be back next time. We hope to see you there!

Great pizza! Slices are about $10, however. Thankfully, the New York style slices are pretty massive -- I got one pepperoni slice and was set for dinner. I would say it's truly NY style; thin, crispy bottom and chewy crust, spicy curled pepperoni. Quick service even though the line was long. Lots of seating inside but was totally full after the park closed, so I ate upstairs across from the AMC. Great food option! Glad this made its way to City Walk!

Service was great, place felt very clean. The thing is, the pizza is good at best. Nothing stand out for me and with the 15$ price tag for one slice.. it is not justified. This place is a skip for me

    Motörhead slice of pizza

So there's this new pizza place at CityWalk, and honestly I think it's a great idea. The location's perfect, right in the middle of all the action. They've got a bunch of pizza styles like Grandma, Detroit, New York, and Sicilian. We went around 2pm on a Thursday and it was already pretty packed. Most of the seats were taken, which is always a good sign the food's good. My wife and I decided to pop in and give it a shot, the pizza in display looked tasty. Right away we noticed they've got a nice setup inside with two TVs, perfect if you wanna sit and hang out for a bit after walking around Universal Studios or CityWalk. Ordering was easy. They had two cashiers, one inside and one as you first walked up. That kept the line going so the line moved quick. We tried a slice of the "Motörhead" pizza. They've got a ton of styles and toppings to pick from which is awesome, but yeah, prices are kinda on the high side. A pepperoni slice was $9.99, and the Motörhead slice came out to about $13 after tax. Bit pricey for just one slice, not gonna lie. But, that Motörhead slice was good. Super flavorful, crispy, and just different in a really good way. The pizza made up for the price. My wife and I shared a slice since $13 felt like a lot for one, but we both said we'd definitely come back to try some of the other styles. They serve Pepsi products and a few adult drinks, which is nice. The menu's not just pizza either, they've got pasta, ice cream, and a bunch of sides (didn't try any this time though). Overall, solid spot for pizza lovers. Prices are a little up there, but the pizza's tasty, the vibe is good, and it's in an awesome spot at CityWalk. We'll for sure be back again soon. Check out the photos; Menu, pizza styles , ingredients, and prices.

For whatever reason i was not thinking the pizza would amaze me, but it was a damn good slice! At only around $11 for a big slice it was well worth it. They also have beer and wine. Worth a stop if at Universal Citywalk.

Amazing pizza by the slice. Great addition to Citywalk. Ordered up a slice of Big Mario. Perfect crunch on crust and great tasting toppings. Slice is a good meal size for average person. Forgot to ask for my season pass holder discount which would have made it even better.

    Good pizza here!

Pizza slices are a tad pricey but one slice can easily fill you up! It's a better deal to get a whole pie. Regular crust and the thick crust are both very good here. Good sauce, good cheese and good toppings. We were all pleasantly surprised on how good the hot wings were! Perfect amount of a crunch on the outside and the chicken was very tender. The service was fantastic at this location. I asked them to cut a large pie into smaller slices and they did it no problem. One guy walked by later and asked how we all were doing. There was 7 of us. Fountain drinks and a few bottled drinks available. Seating gets crowded so be patient. Ambiance is a chill vibe and it's bright and clean throughout. I do recommend trying his place out! PIZZA!!!

    Pepperoni by the slice
    Ellen W.

Stopped by after Universal Studios closed. Efficient, indifferent staff. Ordered pepperoni and Detroit slices. Casual dining area that needed attention/cleaning. Pepperoni was fresh and the crust so good. Detroit slice had sat in the display too long and was past its expiration. It was chewy/hard and just ok. I would definitely return but make sure the pizza was recently made and fresh.

I enhanced the wood fired oven pizza with Parmigiana cheese, fresh crushed garlic, oregano and crushed red pepper. As far as taste, it was ok. Point of reference, being from New York City, I love thick crust pizza not the thin stuff I get around in SoCal. If I was in the neighborhood, I probably would return but there are lots of choices in the San Fernando Valley to choose from.

They have three rooms of seating and half of them were occupied by diners even at this non peak hour between lunch and dinner. We ordered 6 different pizzas to share. We requested they cut it in 12 pieces but they forgot for some of the pizzas. My favorites were the lasagna, funghi, and shrimp pesto in this order specifically. Something about the ricotta with the tomato sauce and sausage + basil really got me. It was also less salty than all the other pizzas. There were only 3 leaves of basil though. I think adding maybe a handful more would make this pizza more complete. The funghi was really rich in umami and also less salty among the pizzas. The Shrimp pesto was a little too salty. The shrimp paired well with the pesto, like a pasta dish. I loved that we could see them make and put the pizzas into the stone ovens. They have some complimentary toppings on the side for folks to grab. My favorites were the garlic and roasted garlic. They didn't restock on the basil. Seems like a pattern. Parking was plentiful. We both ordered the Sausage Party Pizza, and all I can say is: delicious! We also ordered an appetizer of Buffalo wings. My spouse had some kind of Spritz drink, and I ordered soda water since they don't carry mineral water. The waiter (the one with the nice tattoos) who took our order was absolutely awesome--friendly, welcoming, and, I have to admit, quite handsome. When I tasted the soda water, I wasn't too thrilled. I assume it's just tap water with carbonation, and I simply can't stand the taste of the tap water here. To me, it tastes like drinking pool water with all the chlorine. I went back to the bar, where another bartender wearing a cowboy hat was working. After I explained the situation, he kindly offered to replace it with a soda instead. Very nice guy and great customer service. When I went inside to refill my drink at the soda fountain, I happened to notice a plate of Buffalo wings sitting on the counter by the open kitchen, waiting to be picked up. I thought, "Great, those must be ours. Our appetizer will be out any second now." We were starving. Well... we waited. And waited. Nothing. After a while, I asked the young lady working the floor about our wings and mentioned that I had seen them sitting at the counter quite some time earlier. She said something about a pasta dish, which left us completely confused. A little later she brought us our pizzas, and I have to say she was very polite throughout the evening. Unfortunately, quite some time after that, our "appetizer" finally arrived--after our pizzas--and by then the wings were already almost cold. When we originally ordered, we had also paid extra for an additional Ranch dipping sauce. When I mentioned it was missing, she came back with it and said, "This one's on the house!" I didn't have the heart to tell her that we had actually already paid for it. As much as I liked her and appreciated how polite she was, I honestly felt the service was a bit disorganized. Saying that as someone who worked professionally as a waiter for years, I think a little more attention to timing and organization would go a long way. That said, the pizza was excellent, the wings still tasted good despite being almost cold, and when you're as hungry as we were, you're willing to overlook a few things. We ended up having a very enjoyable evening, thanks in large part to the great food and the excellent service from the waiter who took our order and the bartender. We'll definitely be back. I would just suggest a little additional training on coordinating appetizers and table service. Other than that, we had a very nice experience. That is why only 4 stars,

When I got into the…read morestore, I saw a cash only sign, so I had to walk down the street to get cash out of an atm. After that, I went inside to order. I decided to get a slice of pepperoni and also asked what else was good. I was told the vodka on a square is probably the best bet. The pepperoni slice tasted like a New York pizza, which was interesting because there aren't too many places that have that unique taste, aside from like village pizzeria. It was slightly better than that location, but also more costly, so you win some and you lose some. But what I really enjoyed was the vodka square slice. It had a creamy and savory sauce that really just hits, and then some spice that really brings it all together. It's really hard for me to think of another pizza that the square vodka slice compared to. The basil really brought the slice together as well. And the best part about it is it's memorable, and that becomes rarer and rarer as time goes by. The service is pretty quick, around 10 minutes to get your order after placing it. The ambiance is a small shop where you stand and eat. Pretty solid pizza place.

The hot honey pie was unlike any pizza I've had. The spicy pepperoni, creamy burrata, and drizzle of Mike's Hot Honey hits you with a sweet, spicy kick that doesn't overwhelm. The lacy, crispy cheese edges on the crust are a signature touch. It runs a little greasy, but that's part of the charm. The Acapulco Gold is the opposite. It's fresh and balanced with ricotta, garlic, and arugula. The truffle oil gets a bit lost among the bold flavors, but it's still a solid pie. Service is fast counter-style with no frills. This is a grab-and-go spot with no seating. Expect a line out the door and a wait of around 30 minutes on busy days. Also worth noting, it is cash only, so come prepared or visit the atm next door located inside the smoke shop. The vibe is buzzy and energetic, open kitchen, flour in the air, and pizza paddles lined up on the counter ready for rapid fire pizza making. The wait alone tells you everything you need to know. Not a spot for a sit-down meal, but if you're a foodie or a pizza lover, it's absolutely worth the wait.

The restaurant is very low-lit, intimate, and romantic, making it a great choice for a date night. I could also see it being a nice spot to visit with friends for cocktails or mocktails. They also have a wide variety of wines, which I really appreciated, especially when pairing wine with pasta. For our appetizer, we ordered the burrata, and it was definitely one of my favorite parts of the meal. The cheese was incredibly creamy and lightly salted, which I personally loved. It was served with roasted tomatoes and fresh bread, and the combination was simple but really well executed. We also ordered two pasta dishes, and both were delicious. The pasta was cooked really well--not overly al dente--and the sauces were rich, flavorful, and thick enough to coat the pasta beautifully. You could really taste the depth of flavor in each dish. We also tried the mussels, which was my first time having them. Personally, they weren't my favorite, mainly because of the texture. However, I think that's completely subjective, and someone with a different palate may really enjoy them. I wouldn't consider this a flaw in the restaurant so much as a personal preference. The service was another highlight. Everyone was very kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout the meal, which made the experience even better. My only real criticism would be the seating and tables. The tables were somewhat wobbly and had a few visible scratches, which felt slightly out of place compared with the otherwise beautiful and sophisticated atmosphere. The seating was also quite tight, especially with an appetizer and two pasta dishes on the table. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at Oster. The romantic ambiance, delicious pasta, creamy burrata, extensive wine selection, and excellent service made it a memorable dinner. The mussels weren't personally for me, but that's simply a matter of taste. Aside from the tight seating and slightly worn tables, I thought the restaurant was a wonderful spot for a romantic Italian dinner in LA.
