The pizza is actually pretty good but the wings are not good at all. This is a very small store and I'd say the pizza is actually fairly delicious. Although the name of the place has krunchy chicken in it, I'd not recommend the wings to anyone. One pet peeve of mine is that I hate it when restaurants call buffalo wings as hot wings because buffalo wings are sour not hot. I have the same pet peeve about Tabasco sauce because I wouldn't call Tabasco sauce as hot sauce. For pizza I would say they are as good as and may even be a small step up from Costco pizza. I think the pepperoni is much better than that of Costco but it is about double the price while being about 1/2 smaller. Tastewise I do prefer this one. I was pleasantly surprised by this place! Love that they offer lots of options from a whole range of toppings and flavors. They specialize in Indian pizza flavors, but also offer the traditional pizza varieties. What I really like about them is that they do no skimp on any toppings! As you can see from everyone's pizza photos, the pizzas are absolutely LOADED. The one thing I will say about the pizza though is that it was a little too salty for me. I read from another review that it was salty for them too, but I initially thought it was just a fluke. Maybe it comes across that way because of the overload of toppings? Not sure, but it didn't bother me too much. It just meant I needed to manage the amount of slices I ate for this in one sitting, lol.. Most places just brush garlic butter on the crust. Here it feels like they hit the whole pizza with it. They cut it, throw it back in the oven, and serve it to you hot every time. If you call ahead, your slice is ready in five minutes, no waiting around. Inside they've got a shake machine that mixes it up right in front of you, a fridge full of milkshake and smoothie flavors, and beers on tap like Modelo, Stella, Lagunitas, and 805. The board even has deals like a slice and a beer or a medium pizza with two beers. They've got the pizza sizes displayed on the wall and the King Kong pie is a 28 inch monster, easily the biggest pizza I've seen. Just finished an epic hike at nearby Lake Chabot and I always am pretty hAngry afterwards. Looked on my app and look what appears super nearby (less than a 3 minute drive) and was listed as 'hot new business'. I closed the app without looking at other options...no shame son. Clean little store front in a neighborhood strip mall, just under the 580 overpass. Place looked pretty new, and confirming with the owner, it is in its first few months of operation. Love to be a part of that scenario. 5-6 tables inside. They have a pizza side to the menu, with a specialty twist in Indian pizzas. They also rock a fried chicken section to the menu. And with 2 of my favorite foods accessible to me in one shot, is what really attracted me here, like a moth to a flame. Lunch Pizza Special ($5/5++*) A 'slice' of their pizza with ANY 2 toppings and a can of soda. I always love this deal and love it even more when it is around this price. I often actually prefer large slices for personal eating than getting a whole pie, as it just seems to get a better crisp on the crust, IMO. I got pepperoni and mushroom, my personal standby. It takes about 10 minutes for it come out as oven cooking does take time. The Crust: (4.5*) Not a crust I really see around. It has thickness but it is pretty light and fluffy. Almost biscuit like. It isn't as chewy as most pizza crusts. The bottom of the crust does get a nice brown-ness but the slice is big enough that it will still droop due to all the weight. The Toppings (4.5*) Great sauce and cheese ratio. I love when the two combine to become one, like turns into a creamy zesty tomato sauce. This is better than most chains. TRUST. The pepperoni and mushroom were super appropriate. The slice is huge and heavy. It is the equivalent of eating 2-3 slices from a Mountain Mike's or Round Table Pizza. So, at this price point, this is an epic deal. I could easily do this once a week. I was actually envious of the UPS driver that picked up this combo on the run, as I'm sure they are always on this road and can hit this up weekly. I'm a little further out, so I can't be in the area as often. Also took home a 3 piece chicken box home to try later that evening, though I did try the drumstick there, to see how it was hot and fresh, versus later on. 3 piece mixed chicken and biscuit ($9/4*) Huge chicken pieces and cooked til juicy. So, for the price, awesome deal again. The crust is thick and substantial. Definitely some construction going on there. Very homey, totally reminds me of when I dredge and fry chicken. Good seasoning and definitely crisp. Not as crisp/hard as most chains but this still will 'crunch'. My only gripe is that the crust is a tad salty. Like I can only eat one piece of chicken at a time, but that is not entirely a bad thing really. And the chicken tasted good even in later hours, even after a reheat, still maintained its crunch. They also don't do sides here outside of a biscuit. Smart move really as most people usually don't have many nice things to say about sides anyways. (I read A LOT of reviews). Lol. But that biscuit is pretty damn nice. Bigger than most fast-food biscuits and a much better texture. Definitely has buttermilk or yogurt in the dough, you can smell it. I actually saved mine for the next day for breakfast warmed up with some strawberry preserves and it was bomb. Then the kind owner as I was leaving, seeing how I enjoyed my meal greatly, sent me off with a complimentary slice of their Tikka Masala Pizza. I've never really got into Indian pizzas a whole lot in the past but was this special. Same fluffy dough, a tasty spicier tomato sauce with diced roasted chicken, then sprinkled with fine diced red onion and cilantro. And then all smothered and 'glued' together by a nice sprinkling of good mozz. It is very ooey and gooey. I was blown away by this and really appreciated in the owner being so gracious as to let me try it. Cuz otherwise I may never have. And I've already told 4 friends who live nearby about it.
