    BUFFALOCO

Overall good pizza. I ordered the "Buffaloco" for delivery. It was good even cold. Unfortunately I ordered from the wrong app. The pizza got to me but the delivery info and time was off so I didn't really know when it got delivered. That was my fault not theirs so they still get 5 stars for the pizza I got to eat. Good flavors and textures both cold and after a few minutes in the air fryer.

Slicey's pizza absolutely bangs. Buffaloco and Flying Hawaiian are top tier, service is great, and have had me going back like every other week for more tbh lol Vibes are always high and theyre so super friendly whenever i roll through!

We're so happy we found Slicey's Pizza a great local spot! We love their pizza, it's thin, crispy, and cheesy with great flavor. The owners are a fun, friendly couple who clearly care about what they do. We love it so much we wanted to share it with friends and catered from Slicey's for a birthday party and it was a total hit--everyone raved about it and went back for seconds. Even the leftovers were amazing after reheating in a toaster oven! Fantastic pizza, great people, and a place we'll definitely keep coming back to. Highly recommend!

Simply put this pizza is a time machine. Every bite feels like a portal to nights spent with friends or family enjoying whatever movie was selected at Blockbuster. The crust is airy and crispy and acts as the perfect vessel for whatever topping one desires. My husband and I love the BBQ chicken but you can't go wrong because everything slaps on a level that is reserved for the most cherished memories. The only thing better than the pizza is the service. I've ordered from them 4 times now and each time have received a gracious call which made us feel part of a community. This place I special. Don't forget to get the churro! Don't forget to order from the website directly, using their links!!

I am super picky about pizza, and this place hits the spot! It has easily become a weekly event for us the sauce is super delicious, and I am not a sauce person. It's thin crust, but the dough is super delicious. It's the perfect combination of cheese, sauce, and dough + your favorite topping The churros are super delicious too Sarah is also so nice, always! I love chit chatting with her when I come in

If you're on the hunt for the ultimate thin-crust pizza, this place is your go-to. The owners are incredibly friendly and make you feel like family. And if you're craving wings, get them extra crispy dry mix the ranch dressing with buffalo sauce for an extra delicious treat. We've been a loyal customer since we discovered this pizza place. Don't forget to try the chocolate churros..

Food came out fresh, hot, and ready. Service was thoughtful and quick. The layout was clean and simple, with parking and tables conveniently available for dine-in. I opted for takeout and appreciated the follow-up call to confirm my order was ready. I ordered large pizzas, a salad, and oven-baked wings. It's convenient Slicey's is able to split toppings on a single pizza. The Herbivore and Margherita were our favorites. The wings were flavorful. Highly recommend the Buffalo Mild and Stinging Honey Garlic. Would definitely consider coming back. Thanks!

First time trying! I was blown away by how delicious it was. My sister and I decided to stop by here after the gym (I know! Not the best idea but YOLO). We've always passed by here and live close by so we decided to give it a shot. It's a very small space inside but it feels very homey and welcoming. Upon entering, the person at the register welcomed us and was very friendly and patient. Menu is small, simple, and straightforward. We got the herbivore pizza, medium size, and 2 San Pellegrinos. Total was $23 which is not bad IMO. The person who helped us said it'd be 15 minutes, we waited for what felt like 10 minutes or so not too sure I wasn't counting! Now that pizza is the best pizza I've ever had. I'M NOT KIDDING! Everything was just toasted right and it was soooo good and didn't leave us with that heavy feeling like other types of pizzas. I was more surprised that it wasn't super greasy, which is good! Overall, such a good first time experience. Will definitely be coming back again to try their wings, salads, and desert menu!

The food is fire. The pizza is thin but still a favorite. The crust is crisped to perfection. We got the supreme pizza. And Sarah was so nice to us! She brought out our order to the car since we ordered in store. (She didn't have to but she did!) 10/10 service and recommend. The place is small but cute! 2 tables for 8-10 people. Ordering ahead is recommended!

Wanted to try something different than a typical pizza chain and went through a few options before choosing Sliceys (and so glad we did!!). The pizza was delicious and hit the spot. Perfect crust and cheese ratio. The people inside were also super friendly. The prices here are insanely good for LA and we will definitely be back. Yum!!

Veggie pizza with extra garlic and oregano. You can see we can't wait to eat. Our friend is in dream pizza land. SO GOOD!

Slicey's is the BEST! The owners made our trip EXTREMLY enjoyable and that pizza was DELICIOUS! My hubby and I would have never known about about Sliceys had it not been for our good friend. GO! This place is the real deal for super deliciousness and super friendly service.

Do they make heart shaped pizzas?

    Are they closed on Monday's?

    Open Mondays. Closed Tuesdays.

I've heard through the grapevine that yall might be re-opening today or tomorrow...any truth to this? I haven't had your pizza in 3 months and I miss it sooooo much so I'm anxious for yall to come back!

The installer had an emergency and pushed it to Monday. Huge bummer. Monday is actually our day off but we may consider opening that evening if the installment is finished in a timely manner. We'll see. We will definitely be open by Tuesday. We…

Thank you! You are a sweetie pie. The new oven will be installed on the 11th. If all goes well, we should be open that evening or the following morning. Hopefully smooth sailing from there. Thanks again for your kind words and support! Seeya in a…

Hi just curious if there's been any word on the new ovens coming in? Missing yalls pizza and was just wondering on the progress, hope all is ok!

Thank you so much! All is well besides the fact that we haven't made dough in over a month. The new oven is due to ship from the east coast by the 17th, possibly (hopefully) sooner. We miss you, too, and really appreciate you keeping us in your…

    Is this place still open?

Yes. We are still in business. The new oven should be arriving within 2-3 weeks. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Is there any idea to when the oven will be up and running again? I've been craving another pizza for the past month 😅

We're stoked but also so sad that you've been craving our pizza, Jon. This whole ordeal has been a nightmare and we are moving forward with purchasing some new ovens. Could take up to 3 weeks max. Possibly sooner. Really hoping you'll stick around…

I've been trying to order yesterday and today they're closed on both days with special hours? Are they in business still?

Deeply sorry for the inconvenience but our ovens are broken at the moment and it's taking the manufacturer super long to send the needed parts for the repair. We are definitely still in business but can't do much without our ovens. We're hoping to…

I ordered the chicken strips with fries, while my partner ordered a two-piece chicken dinner with macaroni salad and spicy rice. Although we had to wait a little while for the food, it arrived hot. We both agreed that it was some of the best fast-food fried chicken we had ever eaten. The chicken was moist and the batter was crispy. My fries were good, and my partner's macaroni salad and spicy rice were both flavorful. We especially loved the biscuit. I also couldn't help noticing that although the dining room feels like something of a relic, it is very well maintained. There were no dirty tables and no trash on the floor. I was genuinely shocked when the cashier came out to ask how everything was and whether we needed anything else. Most fast-food chains seem determined to eliminate as much human interaction as possible. Pioneer Chicken was a refreshing reminder that fast food can still be friendly, clean and satisfying. Pioneer Chicken is a winner in my book!

If it's your first time visiting Sampa, you have to be open minded towards the concept itself. Yes, the dishes here are smaller in portion and costs more than your typical fast casual spot. All the servers here are attentive and offer to help with what to order if you're unsure. For dinner, the Crispy Pasta is their take on crispy pata but served with spinach tagliatelle. It's where they grill certain items, lobster, ribeye, skirt steak, the intestinal part of a chicken (?). So, not tacos but grilled meats so we stayed. twist. First of all, it's a lovely space. In a not very obvious area of DTLA, next to Urth Cafe but no other restaurants. We didn't have reservations so we had the option of sitting at the bar or following the waitress to a back room area instead of the front room that is visible to everyone. My son is a minor, so to the back we went! Seriously, the closer we got to the back room the more I felt I had been cast in "The Chef." Scary! Lol! The back room is black. Blackout black! Black tablecloths, walls, chairs, dark, low light. Very luxurious and open space. Which - because it wasn't full at the time - felt a bit like being in the film, The Menu." A bit too upscale and empty to feel comfortable. More guests arrived later, a large table, so that was more comforting. The food: Recommended *Kara Kara Tamales: braised oxtail with a peanut butter sauce. Wow! The taste was wonderful! Hard to explain but Filipino/African food meets Latin food. It was on the "shared plate" menu, which to me means it will be a lot. But the 2 tamales were not very big. Still, they were so rich that the 2 really were sufficient to share. Quite filling. I couldn't get enough of the sauce! *Crab fried rice: Very tasty and generous portion. Plenty share! Not recommended: The street eats menu. Now, this is what pulled us in - the sights and smells of the food being grilled outside the restaurant. Most of which was on this meme. Like a tasting menu. But for price to portion ratio, it simply isn't worth it. I ordered the skirt steak. 4 oz, cut in half. Cooked down to what looked like .5 oz! Each on a toothpick sitting in a paper plate (or maybe it was cupcake holder?) IDK. I just know it wasn't a good presentation and the taste wasn't memorable. Regular. More grill smell than taste. Not at all worth $8. Service: Really nice. And mostly good. Though they did fail short by (1) Using only small appetizer size plates and (2) Not bringing a fresh plate to eat the crab fried rice on after the peanut butter sauce laced tamale appetizer was eaten. The server brought the fried rice, but didn't bother to give us fresh plates (nor silverware). My son was mortified when I grabbed a plate from one of the empty tables! (Teenager energy on full effect). But after initial attentive service, the variety of different servers whizzing by didn't stop to ask if we needed anything. And I sat waiting at least 8 minutes staring at the rice. I assured my young man that the servers would be fine with me getting another plate to save them from having to. And once I did, he suddenly started eating from my plate of my peanut butter free fried rice. And of course, when a server did attend to us and I let her know, she was glad I took matters into my own hands instead of not eating for 15 minutes. Thoughts: Go for dinner, and order from the full dinner menu, skip the skimpy street eats menu. With reservations you can sit in the main restaurant area that has some view to the outdoors. Without it - back to the black room you go! Know that it will be expensive. And it will be original. Not sure I'll go back. It's very "special occasion" upscale dining. But If I do it'll be with reservations. The meal was memorable and worth experiencing.
