Most fast-food chains seem determined to eliminate as much human interaction as possible. Pioneer Chicken was a refreshing reminder that fast food can still be friendly, clean and satisfying. Thoughts: Go for dinner, and order from the full dinner menu, skip the skimpy street eats menu. With reservations you can sit in the main restaurant area that has some view to the outdoors. Without it - back to the black room you go! Know that it will be expensive. And it will be original. Not sure I'll go back. It's very "special occasion" upscale dining. The freshness of the cucumber and herbs cutting through the rich sauce balanced it out. The pan fried pork buns however were rather forgettable. The meat was juicy but I was left wanting more flavour in both the meat and the buns. I also wish the bottoms were a bit crispier. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back to try their breakfast menu and other items though. Because peeking at the other tables they offerings looked delicious.

It's a long story i hope you can keep up with me. As a kid i had to follow my dad around and still have to for treatments. My dad is an acupuncture and help other people isn't that nice,now back to the point. I knew i would be bored there , so i decided to bring my quadcoopter aka a drone. While he was treating patient. The Pizza manger or owner was the patients daughter. She invited me in for a whole pizza for free,right away i was kinda uncomfortable and happy the same time. She let me pick so again the kid i am i picked half Hawaiian pizza with cheese,pineapple,bacon and peporoni and half supreme.It was beyond delicious.When you first bite into it,it taste like eating 1 story high ice cream with your favorite sweets on top with fruits.I wish i ordered another one but i had to go somewhere because my dad had to treat another patient.I really recommend this pizza better than Patxi's Pizza in San Fran beacuse it is so expensive and does'nt have a lot of flavors to pick. We are from Florida and had just gotten in to Hollywood. After checking into our hotel, we were tired and hungry. We strolled down North Highland Avenue, eventually finding the mall at Highland Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard. We checked out the restaurants in the mall area and realized that we just wanted a dinner, not a fine dining experience. We were familiar with California Pizza Kitchen from other states. The beautiful hostess greeted us with a smile and offered us the option of eating inside or outside on the deck. We chose the outside deck to enjoy the beautiful weather and the people. Our server was just as beautiful and delightful as the hostess. They made us feel so welcome and relaxed that we could have stayed there all night! My choice for the evening was the Cobb Salad and my wife chose the Chicken Piccata dinner. The server brought us fresh-packed rolls and a smile. I LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH!!! I seriously cannot hype them up enough. This is hands down my favorite local pizza place, if not my favorite pizza place ever. Delicious every time, I keep coming back here and it never disappoints. Plus the vibe is so fun and cute! The people who run the place are super chill and sweet, they always have the BEST customer service. This was actually the first place I ate at when I moved to LA, we picked up a pizza after a long day of moving and it really hit the spot- and the next time I came back they remembered me and asked how I was settling into the new place, it really made me feel at home and this has been my fav local spot since. Slicey's has been my pizza spot for the past two years and every time I come back home to visit my grandma and mom I'm always met with the best pizza from Sarah and Victor. You cannot go wrong with a medium, pepperoni here or any one of their specialty pizzas. Sarah and Victor are two of the kindest individuals who make amazing pizza. I was in the area getting some emergency car repairs and stumbled upon this local gem! The atmosphere is super chill, with just a few tables, but the service was outstanding! I wish I had caught the name of the wonderful woman who helped me. Even as a walk-in, she made everything feel so personal and welcoming. I shared that I was from out of the area, and she treated me like an old friend! After a stressful day with my car, this place really turned things around for me. I was just looking for a spot to relax and read while I waited, but I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious pizza slices I got fresh from the oven for just $4 each or 2 for $7. Please do not purchase at this restaurant. Employee is RACIST. I picked up from this restaurant and was profiled by an employee named Sarah or Serra. She called me about an order and I let her know I was in the parking lot to pickup the order. When I arrived in the restaurant, Serra did not greet me. She tossed the order to me and I proceeded to leave. As I departed, Serra followed me to my vehicle and questioned if I was the person for the order. I told her you just spoke to me on the phone. She proceeded to follow me to my vehicle and attempted to open my passenger vehicle which was locked. Then as I pulled off she slammed on my back window leaving a hand print. The woman threatened me. The best pizza in town, I promise you. I stumbled upon this gem on accident but so happy I did. Their pizza comes out piping hot, it's delicious because their dough and marinara is made by scratch using the best ingredients. The vibe is super chill. You can eat there or take to go. Get that Carnivore or Supremium. The cream filled churros and cheesecakes are good as well. I'm very happy I found a spot close to my pad.
