If you feel like you're paying a little more, just know that when you cook it properly at home, the quality more than justifies the price. One tip: if you're getting steamed shrimp, skip the pre-steamed option. Go to the counter, pick out the shrimp you want, and have them steam it fresh for you. Definitely grab one of their tubs of garlic butter and herbs and have them add half or the full amount depending on how much you're getting. I got the Argentine shrimp, about a pound and a half, and had them use half the butter. No one in my group expected it to be as good as it was. I set the plate down and it was gone in less than five minutes. I was lucky to even get three pieces for myself. We also purchased a whole grouper and had them fillet it for us. We seasoned it with their Everglades rub, and I have to admit it was probably the best grouper I've ever had in my life. The freshness makes all the difference. We grill often and have made grouper before, but it's usually been frozen, and it never comes out anywhere near this good.

By early the next morning, I woke up very sick with severe stomach issues, nausea, and stomach problems that lasted throughout the entire day Saturday. I was completely fine before eating there and did not start feeling better until Sunday when I was finally able to eat again. While eating, I noticed several concerns with the food. The corn tasted old, and many of the potatoes had brown specks/discoloration, which caused me to stop eating them once I realized most of them appeared that way. The crawfish bag was also very murky with a large amount of dark specks and black spots that I initially assumed were seasoning. After getting sick, I took the remaining crawfish and potatoes back to the restaurant to show my concerns. Unfortunately, the owner/employee would not take the food back or offer a refund. I can only speak on my personal experience, but I wanted to share this as a word of caution for anyone ordering takeout. Please inspect your food carefully. They were also very knowledgeable about the products they were selling. In addition to seafood, they sell various varieties of butter and sausages. You can get your catch wrapped and iced to go, get it steamed and packaged, or get it cleaned and bundled up to take away. The prices seem very fair, it appears Maria's aims to please.
