I saw this place on instagram and thought, might as well give it a shot in case I'm craving burgers. And it DID NOT disappoint! Their menu has so many options, I couldn't help myself. Along with my 'big messy burger' I also got a chili cheese dog and chili cheese fries. All of it were too good, I made the mistake of eating before I could snap a picture but I believe that explains itself of how great the food is. It's almost a "hole in the wall" ambiance to it, I love it, small, quiet, but still welcoming. The staff and service were so good! Ingredients are fresh and it was a standard burger. Sadly I just found the patty to have lacked flavor. It had a slight char taste but I honestly feel like they accidentally forgot to put any salt and pepper. All of the toppings and sauces were delicious and the bread had a perfect toasted texture. It's just the beef itself that disappointed. I tasted it with minimal toppings and then added the rest after to gauge how good the patty was. There's a lot to like about Sliders Burgers. They have excellent customer service and they offer a very customizable burger experience with a complimentary DIY toppings bar and reasonably priced premium toppings you can add on. Unfortunately though, at the end of the day a burger joint is going to be defined by the quality of the core ingredients, the burger and the bun, and in both regards Sliders Burgers falls short. When I come to a place that specializes in burgers, I'm not just looking for a burger, I'm looking for a BURGER. One of those juicy, meaty patties dripping in delicious richness that steals the show no matter what toppings you pile on. The burgers at Sliders Burgers just don't meet that mark. They are totally serviceable, but they're more akin to your typical backyard cookout burger, a blank canvas defined by whatever you choose to put on top. The bun was equally plain, and both just really left me wanting something more. Apart from my burger, the rest of our food was quite good. My wife really enjoyed her steak sandwich. Personally I find sliced steak easier to eat on a sandwich but I know a lot of people love the feeling of ripping into a slab of beef with every bite so if that's you I would definitely recommend giving it a shot. The fried zucchini is somewhat atypical in that it is cut into long thin strips similar to fries, but that actually makes it easier to enjoy with your condiment of choice. All in all, Sliders Burgers does a lot of things right and I think many people would really enjoy their meal here. However, if you are on the hunt for one of those rare mind-blowing burgers that stick with you I just don't think you will find it here. read more

I didn't expect my burger to be so juicy. Tried a spot in Tahoe that char broil there burgers too and theirs was so dry I coughed up sand. Not sliders from the first bite to last it was juicy. I ordered the 10 oz burger and here you get it put your toppings on yourself. Which for me is great. The customer service was great, a pleasant place to walk into. This was one place I will have to revisit for sure!! I loved how they let you dress it yourself! The amount of sauces is amazing! The only downside was the milkshake was more like a smoothie, and tasted ok. But i will definitely love trying other options! I got the 6oz beef burger with cheddar cheese and bacon. There's a lot more options to chose from though! There may be 6 or so tables in side, but we didn't have a problem finding a seat with just two of us. Order was completed with a side of onion rings. First, the rings were good. Nice and crispy without a lot of grease! I really enjoyed them, even if some of them were a tad bit over fried and dark/burned. The wagyu burger was just OK. The burger was about $24 and for that price, it needs to really wow my taste buds. It did not. The beef was unseasoned (and if it was, sorry, I didn't detect a hint of anything... not even salt). It was cooked done, not medium as it should be, but I didn't specify so no points taken for that. It was still juicy, though. Bonus for the extras I requested. I appreciated that the buns came naked, allowing me to put as much or as little condiments as desired. No sloppy buns here! This wagyu didn't have the distinctive taste other wagyu burgers I've tasted had. It kinda missed the mark and wasn't as good as it could have been. It just felt like it was a slightly fattier grind than a standard 80% patty. Ok, 2021 restart! Leaving behind some not too pleasant food experiences that the 2021 initially threw at us, we went with @Cherylynn's guidance and tried Sliders Burgers! Thank you @Cherylynn for leading us to this gem of place right on W San Carlos street that we've travelled past so many times before but failed to notice this place. Now that is how burgers are done!!! And the exceptional customer service by the son of this father-n-son restaurant, shows how Bay Area still manages to keep the American dream alive - do things the right way, keep doing it and one can succeed in this country, pandemic or not! So this is how how we ordered - we drove over , parked outside, placed the order by phone and the owner kindly came out and handed our order to us. Ever so pleasant and courteous on the phone, anticipating our need and suggesting options to suit our needs ( like packing all standard fixings on side to avoid burgers from losing their integral shape during takeout) , he was the epitome of customer service even during this COVID times and raises the bar of service for all other restaurants that we can expect!! Now onto the actual order. In addition to regular beef burgers they do make and serve non-traditional meats. Food Adventure hungry folks like us can try Bison, Elk and Ostrich. We went in for Bison and Elk for this time (yes hinting that we are to return soon!) Staff was very friendly and helpful, good selection of toppings. Many great options on the menu, they even had bison from what I remember! I ordered the Swiss burger as it also came with fries. Fries were the perfect level of crispy and tasty. Burgers were soft and juicy. Good quality meat. Love the customizability! The kitchen is right in front of the cashier so you can see them make it right in front of you which was cool. Also good set of sauces, there was a zesty ranch mix I believe that was really good on the burger and fries.
