I'm really glad I checked out this hidden gem recommendation from a friend as it's one of the few places that cooks burgers on a rotating grill. Tried this place for the first time. It is a hole in the wall, but clean inside. Great spot for when you get a craving for a really good burger. It was a damned good burger. The patties are huge for the specialty burgers. The specialty burgers also come with a good portion of fries as well. I had the Mushroom and Swiss burger 5/5 stars. Everything about it was excellent. The fries on the other hand were meh, so they get a 3/5 stars. They had good crunch and cripness but the flavor was a little off. Almost like they may need to change the frying oil. I finally got round to seeing what the hype was about at Sliders Burger. As I walked into this small restaurant located in a strip mall I could tell by the crowds this was a go to place for a number of locals. There were a load of different style burgers (an overwhelming amount), so I asked what was popular. One of the items was the mushroom Swiss burger. I ordered this with fries. The burger took about 20mins to make and I was given a digital tag which vibrated when the goodness was ready. They had an awesome condiment bar, something which disappeared after COVID. The total came to about $28 for a double cheeseburger and Cajun fries, which felt a bit on the expensive side. The inside is cutely decorated with a classic diner theme. I had the bacon avocado burger and it was cooked to perfection. Not to mention it came with ample avocado and bacon, no skimping here. The fries were complete perfection, crispy on the outside but pillowy soft on the inside. But my favorite thing about this place is their condiment bar. No more worrying about asking for no onions or extra pickles because you get to dress your own burger. They have everything you need from jalapeños to lettuce along with every sauce imaginable. We went here for my fiance's birthday because he's been wanting to try this place for a while and it did not disappoint! They have unique meats like ostrich and bison but I didn't want to venture into those that day, so I got a plain breakfast burger with fries and added their secret sauce. I have to say that this place is definitely pricier than your normal fast food joints but it tastes so fresh because they make it right in front of you, so there is a bit of a wait. However, I don't think I've ever loved a burger more before going to this place. Also, the fries were SO crispy and tasty. I went for lunch after 2 and it wasn't too busy. Order at the counter and there is a buzzer to tell you when your order is ready. The combo includes fries and a soda (small size I think), and I ordered the 10 oz. beef patty, no cheese, just so I could clearly taste the beef. The gourmet burger choices looked very good though, and next time I would definitely try one of them, as the fries didn't appeal to me. The fries were fried well but the taste of oil was noticeable; if you are sensitive to the taste or quality of the frying oil being used the fries may not be for you. At least the frying oil didn't taste that old. I did try the secret sauce and it was decent; again, if you are sensitive to the ingredients used for sauces (like seed oils), you may want to pass. The condiment bar looked ok, good selection of basic items. The best thing and what would induce me to come back was the burger. I had ordered medium well but the cook was closer to medium well, almost well. However, the beef patty was still juicy, and not at all dried it, and there was no burning or charring of the patty surface. I don't know if the patties are made in-house, so the extra doneness is probably safer, so it's great they can keep the burger juicy. This seems to be a spot where you can get a thicker patty and be confident with how it turns out. The bacon I ordered as an add-on was cooked properly as well, crispy and not burnt. Coke products here and the mixing was decent. Service at the counter was great. Condition of the interior is ok, the restroom condition could look better. The restaurant feels cozy inside despite the neighborhood. Finding a spot for parking shouldn't be difficult but you may have to drive around through the lot. They have a great range of meats to choose from and the onion rings and fries were perfect. Partner reports that his wild boar was a little on the dry side, but still really tasty. I had the beef and it was so good. Before this we'd tried the ostrich on a takeaway order and it was really good, as well. They have a decent selection of beverages, including a choice of Jarritos and Mexican Cokes. Arrived here with a friend around 3:30 pm on a Friday afternoon after doing some window shopping in the plaza. There's a lot of outdoor parking, so not to worry! The burger joint has lots of personality and is very unique with its classy decor that feels welcoming and homey. Wasn't too busy, no one was in the dining area but 2-3 people came in to pick up their to-go-orders. My friend and I ordered their Beyond Burger and it was loaded with mushrooms and avocado slices for that extra protein with a side of fries and drink. Was driving home,and saw this place. We stopped in. It looks like a hole in the wall,in a strip mall. It's was a surprise to see such a variety of options for the different kinds of meat patties.we went to place our order,the man working asked if we had any questions. Sliders Burgers is located in a plaza with a spacious parking lot, but may get busy due to all the shops in the plaza. We ordered a bison burger, 8 oz beef burger with pepper jack cheese, a side of onion rings and chili cheese fries. You order first and you will be given a pager. All of the condiments and burger toppings are self serve at no cost! Once we got our food, we asked for an extra empty box for the condiments since we didn't want to dress our burgers yet because we didn't want them to get soggy. We ordered a cheeseburger each. This was a really good burger. The amazing part was their was only one employee who was working at the time. Everyone can have whatever they want on their burger or sandwich. No way for the kitchen to screw it up. Brilliant! I mentioned a few miscues above. Garlic Parmesan fries are my cryptonite. Unfortunately, they don't use fresh garlic, but instead use some type of garlic sauce. The sauce is vinegary and has a processed taste. Yuck! Come on guys. Use FRESH like everything else in your restaurant. No shortcuts! The fries themselves were seasoned well and crispy. We also tried their onion rings. They were light, crispy, and tasty. The other bummer is they use bottled/processed ranch dressing. I love dipping fries or onion rings in handmade ranch dressing. But it has to be homemade ranch with mayo and milk w/the seasoning mix, not processed/bottled dressing bought from a supplier. These are 2 easy ways to make Sliders even better. When it comes to value for money, this place is typically a hit! However, I have mixed feeling after coming here multiple times recently. The way the burgers are cooked is very cool and I find myself mesmerized watching the chef do his thing! On the other hand, if the burger is extremely over cooked then that is a completely different story. With all of the competition for burgers and hotdogs very close by I find it hard to justify a $20 burger that is pressed very thinly and dry. My boyfriend refuses to give it another try but I personally had one good experience where the food wasn't dry.
