The smell was wafting through the corridors in the airport and it smelt delicious. I stopped in and ordered the House Party pizza. The staff was friendly and made great suggestions. It took roughly 15 minutes to make and get my pizza to me. Hot and smelling delicious. The smell of this place alone had my mouth watering. Making this the longest 15 minutes of my life I do regret not ordering their garlic knots as well but that will be for next time. I also opted for the garlicky garden butter. It came as a side not a drizzle and was on the c9ld side. The pizza was soo good and hit the spot! The crust was the perfect combo of soft and crispy. The sauce was house made and had an amazing flavor. The cheese pull . Highly reccomend this pizza spot. Im so sad that I won't get to have it again anytime soon read more

As a pizza connoisseur, I had to try this local Nashville Pizza. I am thrilled I enjoyed their take on pizza. I went with the smokin herb with garlicky garden butter. I ordered the House Party ($15.60) which had both pepperoni & sausage. Orders are made fresh & done in about 10-15 minutes. The pizza is intended to be like a personal sized pizza, but I feel like this could've easily been shared between 2 people. Toppings are decent - they weren't too skimpy on either one. Airport food is a miss more often than not, but this was a hit! Slim & Husky's is a fast, casual pizza place with several locations in Tennessee. This one is in the Nashville airport with a smaller menu than the standalone restaurants. I ordered at the counter and it was ready in under 10 minutes. They had tables and chairs in the airport restaurant, but I took my pizza to go to sit at a concourse. The pizza was still hot and fresh. This place has many other non-vegan pizzas, but their Nothing But A "V" Thang Vegan Pizza has a Classic Red Sauce, Vegan Cheese, Fresh Spinach, Plant-based Pepperoni, Plant-based Sausage, Mushrooms, and Red Onions, and you can modify it if you don't want something on it, like I did; I opted to skip the onions. They make the pizzas fresh, but they come out fairly quick as they are individual size; it can take about ten to fifteen minutes or so to get the pizza and it was really good! The pizza was about $17, but it's a decent size for a typical person. There is a good amount of seating at this location. I had a 3 hour layover in BNA and was happily surprised to find a Slim & Husky's location in Terminal C. After chatting with the young lady at the register, I ordered my usual pizza of choice (P.R.E.A.M.) and an order of garlic knots (2 pieces). What I love about Slim & Husky's is the wait is due to orders being made fresh. There were about 5 people ahead of me which led to a 10 minute or so wait but I made time. The restaurant was clean and although it was busy, the tables and counter area were bussed well. I will definitely return my next trip through Nashville Airport. read more

I opted for the OG cinnamon roll. 2.5/5 for being almost $5.50 I would have expected but to be.a little bit bigger I mean it was called the OG. This used to be delicious pizza so I'd always go to the airport hungry to get a pie before boarding a flight. Idk what happened but the crust went from being hearty, bready and chewy to paper thin cracker crust that's soggy. And way more like a frozen pizza. Many customers were left waiting at the ordering counter with a growing line, while the male employees chatted loudly behind the pizza oven about women. Some words quote, "Man look at her (viewing phone), she fi.." making comments that felt quite inappropriate given the situation. There was no one managing the line for over 15 minutes, and after ordering, we still waited another 10 to 15 minutes for our food. My husband stood in line while the rest of our family waited outside with our luggage. I credit the patience of everyone in line, even though their frustration was on their faces. When an employee finally arrived, there was no warm welcome or sense of eagerness to help. I genuinely want to support businesses and love pizza, but this experience fell short. read more

Now I had this overnight back to back!! And i said one of these overnights I am going to Slim & Husky's. Now it's been a couple of years since I've been here and they definitely have upgraded the menu. I like the combos with the wings. Now I intentionally made sure i worked out hard 2 days in a row because I knew I was about to take in all this deliciousness so now they have kiosks where you place your order and then they'll call your name. While ordering one of the co-workers came over to just simply ask if i needed anything. She was very pleasant and sweet. I ended up getting the house party (pepperoni & Italian sausage) and i added mushrooms! A side salad and a little drink. Now i wanted to indulge in an adult beverage and they only offered beer but the choices they have I'm not a fan so i just got a regular drink. I've always Loved the concept of this place because it's just dope to me. I love how the workers are always making sure things are clean wiping things down. Throwing things away.
