Their chicken wings were very good, not over cooked a s well seasoned. They originally sauced tenders that weren't supposed to be sauced, but quickly corrected it when brought to their attention. The part that really frizzed me out is that a lot of the lettuce in my salad was rotten. Like, fall apart in my fingers, slimy, rotten salad. Something deep down in my spirit told me under no circumstance to order delivery via Doordash because Slim Chickens was gonna mess up my order. Don't ask me why, because I've never ordered there in my life. So I ordered at the drive thru instead. Slim Chickens messed up my order. Repeatedly. In one visit, like they were on a bender trying to break some kind of Guinness World Record. I ordered the Slim's Meal (five chicken tenders), grilled not fried. Subbed a side salad for fries. Garlic parmesan and Korean BBQ for my two sauces. I received a Slim's Meal, fried. No garlic parmesan sauce. I signaled to the guy at the window and explained the mixup. He looked at me in slow motion. I didn't even realize that was a thing. Equally slowly, he brought me a garlic parmesan. I pointed out my order was supposed to be grilled and handed him back the box of tenders. He brought me four, not five, grilled tenders. I motioned to him again and, desperately trying not to get frustrated, told him he shorted me a tender. He did that slow motion look again, like a damn live action Furby, and took the tenders to the grill. Instead of just getting me a fifth chicken tender, he proceeded to talk to the manager. She came to the window and to her credit, very nicely clarified my order. Back at the grill, she gave me three of the tiniest chicken tenders I'd ever seen. He brought them to me and proceeded to close the window...WITHOUT bringing me back my other four tenders. JFC. The manager had to tell him to give me my other four tenders. As for the food, it was okay. I wanted a decent healthy meal so it served it's purpose. I cut up the three smaller chicken tenders and added them to my salad. The side salad is actually pretty big for a side, so that was nice. I'm shocked they didn't f*ck up and give me regular Dr. Pepper instead of diet. I truly enjoy Slim Chickens food and do frequent it often. I decided to order curbside just so I can drop in and go quickly. It is a Sunday and when I got there it was not that busy. I put in a time for the order to be ready at 2:15 and I pressed the button on the app to say I'm here right at 215. 2:20 came and the 2:30 came and no one came out to bring the order. I decided to finally go inside and see what was going on. No one was in line and a young man was waiting at the counter looking for something to do. I looked in the back of the kitchen and all of the employees were moving at a leisurely pace. The manager I assume was dancing and just stacking bags which was not needed. All of the orders were just lined up and no one had a desire to bring the curbside out. My food was sadly cold and I just did not have the time for them to remake it. I was just disappointed in the service and the manager who just stared at me and I stared back in a wonder why he was not delegating to get any orders out. Instead he was in there laughing and cracking jokes. In all of my 20 years in customer service and in management roles in the food service injury; I do not play around with food. Went on opening day around 4:15p. Chick-fil-A drive thru like (2 lanes). My timing was great, long line formed behind me. Line moved fairly quickly, process took maybe 30 minutes. Received complimentary draw-string bag leaving drive-thru. Ordered the crispy chicken sandwich meal. Meal was correct, drink was not. Don't really know what it was but it definitely wasn't a Coke. Temperature of food was great. Chicken sandwich not as flavorful as I expected but that may have been due to the ranch mayo that I thought was WAY too salty along with the pickles. Loved the Brioche bun. The fries were just ok. I'm more of a crinkle cut or waffle fan. But they were sturdy enough for dipping. Cole Hale has probably one of the most uneducated managers I ever experienced in the restaurant industry. Hired my 15 year old daughter back to n April at the Monroe/Indian trail location. She already got her uniform and ready to start training but when we called to check the orientation date he informed us over the phone she no longer had a job because the GM hired her not knowing the company doesn't hire 14-15. Which the General Manager didn't know. How is this possible??? Legal advice has already been provided. Now I understand why this location has not been opened yet. The sauce is crazy, had red sweet chili on the wings and Korean BBQ on the tenders! Fries were quality as well, got me thinking that they are cutting potatoes in the back, cant be, right?
