Cole Hale has probably one of the most uneducated managers I ever experienced in the restaurant industry. Hired my 15 year old daughter back to n April at the Monroe/Indian trail location. She already got her uniform and ready to start training but when we called to check the orientation date he informed us over the phone she no longer had a job because the GM hired her not knowing the company doesn't hire 14-15. Which the General Manager didn't know. How is this possible??? Legal advice has already been provided. Now I understand why this location has not been opened yet. My Mom summed it up after our first experience: if her sandwich was as pretty as the box it would have been outstanding. Hold the salt, salt, salt, please! The fries, the bread and the somewhat dry fried chicken strips in my Chick Meal- they forgot our sauces- were just too much. My husband got the mac and cheese as a side and could only eat four of my fries before he said he couldn't take the salt anymore. Mom said they even put too much salt in her coleslaw. So, I am giving three stars because the employees were nice, even the young man at the drive thru window when I asked for a Coke after my Dr. Pepper was predominantly carbonated water. It certainly wasn't worth the 45-minute wait on a Sunday night from my family's perspective, but I wish 'em the best. read more

Went to this establishment for the first time yesterday. They got my order wrong and appeared to have an attitude about. I was actually scared about eating the food that I had them to correct. But I did eat it and it was delicious; I just would have liked if they didn't appear to take my need for correction as an affront. It was a simple mistake that, honestly, the cashier could have avoided by asking for clarification if he didn't understand what I was asking for. I pointed to the picture of the item and the name of the item I wanted, as well as said the name of the item. So, I don't know how much clearer I could have been from my side? Ball was in his court to make sure my order was correct. After it was found out not to be correct, how 'bout apologize for the inconvenience and make it right without having an attitude about it. Customer service 101. Apparently, no one took that class from this establishment. I watched a thin, stern-looking woman, who I guess was the manager, walk back and forth looking annoyed, and some brunette woman in the kitchen with her face all screwed up. It's like -- you're on display -- we. can. see. you. It was a simple misunderstanding - just fix it and hold the negative energy. Speaking of negative energy -- I actually have a migraine today and Slim Chickens was the last thing I ate. Negative transfer of energy into food is real and I'm paying the price for eating that bad vibe food today. I knew I should have left it there and just got my money back. Toxic people make toxic food. Take my advice, if someone who is handling your food has an attitude or is rude for no reason -- don't eat that food. I recommend the food for sure but the service at this exact restaurant tonight was pretty awful. First I couldn't even hear the person speaking through the drive through. My order was pretty messed up but I didn't have the patience to try and get a refund or anything. We waited at least 10-15 minutes to get the food when there was no line at all. read more

Food wasn't what I expected - the actual chicken wings are bland and they stingy with the sauce they are tossed in. I asked to have them cooked crisp but they didn't quite understand the concept. Very good tenders Fresh and hand breaded. Love the price as well as they give you plenty to have when you combine them with the wing special. I also LOVE the strawberry cheese cake car. I have two attempts under my belt and I plan on patronizing this spot again in the future. I may wait a few more weeks to give them time to work out a few kinks but I'm definitely going to return. It is my hope that they continue refining their traffic flow pattern so that customers are clear on where to enter the parking lot. When I ventured out, I went with the expectation that there would be a wait. What I didn't expect was how rude, disrespectful and impatient the folk in the parking lot would be. I was so disgusted by the guy in the truck who kept blowing his horn at me while I extended grace to the truck ahead of me attempting to park, I left and grabbed a burger elsewhere. My second trip left me pondering over whether or not it's best to wait in the drive through line for 30 minutes, call in an order and wait 30 minutes for pick up, or just dine in. For some reason my shake wasn't included with my order and rather that checking the receipt, I was told by the young lady at the drive through window that she didn't think I ordered one. With what seemed like a little reluctance, she looked and said they were out of vanilla. It may help to indicate that for customers placing online orders. I settled on an Oreo shake and was told that I needed to park and wait for it. Huh??? Wait some more? I've never had an Oreo shake so rather than be inconvenienced more for something that I wasn't pressed to have, I asked for a refund. Then comes person #2 or #3 suggesting that I park to wait for the refund. That was not an option so two minutes later, I got an Oreo milkshake. All things considered, after nuking my wings, tenders, and okra in the microwave for a few, everything was pretty tasty. I'm not a fan of having to heat purchased food but again I went with the expectation that there would be a wait. Food was normal nothing special. The wait was long for no reason. I'm a big foodie but there's not anything here that would make you want to go back necessarily. I'm a big chicken wing fan and very picky so it didn't help that the pricing and flavors wasn't up to par. Nonetheless if you in the area and just want to try something new go ahead. I've been twice so far. The first time I had the cayenne chicken sandwich and fries and I thought it was all pretty good. So I went back today and order a 4 strip meal with Mac and cheese. I got home to find out I didn't get max and cheese but they gave me fries, which weren't as good as last time. The chicken tenders weren't that great but not bad. Also, the slim sauce seemed to be very bland, I went to my fridge to see what sauces I had to use. This place is new and just has things to work on. Potential tho. read more

I visited for the 1st time and wasn't that impressed. The surroundings were nice and the building was clean. That was to be expected since they are new. Our food was not made to order as I understand that to mean made fresh at the time of order. The fries were warm but definitely not hot. The chicken was dry and chewy. I asked for regular mayo and was told they don't put that on the sandwich but I could have some packets. The sandwich originally cones with a flavored type mayo that I didn't like. The food was brought out without the mayo and when I asked I was told they were out. A few minutes later the manager came out all smiles and asked the elderly white couple if this was their first visit and if they were enjoying the food She stated she wanted a strawberry milkshake but the machine wasn't working. He personally went to get it. I assumed since we were sitting adjacent to them he would visit us next. No such luck. He promptly sat 1 table beside us and started working on his laptop . Not so much as a gesture or nod. I'll stick with Chic Fil A. The food is better and I've never been snubbed. read more

Opening day for the Prosperity Ridge location was March 1st. I tried their wings on March 4th. Of course they were slammed with customers because this is a new restaurant. However, I was very impressed with their ability to keep up with such high volume of customers. The wings were delicious and I couldn't wait to try other items on their menu. Unfortunately, I have not been able to try other items on the menu because the past two times that I have gone to the restaurant the drive through has been blocked. Each time I've gone roughly around 10:30 pm. Their hours are from 11 am - 11pm daily. And calling the restaurant is pointless. No one answers the phone. I would love to know why they advertise their hours as 11am-11pm daily. I'm not sure that I'm still interested in ever visiting this restaurant ever again. read more

I got the wrap. Although the chicken was crispy, there were only two pieces (which looked to be one piece that was cut in half) in a wrap filled with lettuce. I placed an online order. At the time that my order was said to be ready, I entered the drive thru line. When I told the person that I was picking up a mobile order, she told me I'd have to come inside. I explained that I was now stuck in the drive thru line and I asked if she could just hand it to me through the window? She said no. I waited 19 mins in the drive thru line to get out, park and go in to get the order. When I tried to nicely give feedback to the manager, it was clear that she couldn't possibly care any less about the fact that I had to wait for almost 20 mins unnecessarily. There is absolutely no reason in my mind that they couldn't have handed the order out the window to me. If I had ordered at the speaker, they would've prepared my order and handed it out the window. I don't know why the same couldn't have been done for an order that was ready and paid for. Common sense isn't always common. I will go to one of the bazillion other chicken places nearby where they respect customers' time and satisfaction. read more
