I visited this location for a curbside order tonigh. The staff was incompetent we ordered 2 drinks with our meal and said our drinks were in the bag????and the kid who brought it out had his hands in his mouth and chewing on a stray. This was my first visit I called and told manager on duty her name was Megan. Most employees weren't wearing masks on face but on neck. If your manager isn't competent enough to enforce rules replace her. Also to all the kids working there you don't deserve to work during a pandemic if you cannot follow food safety guidelines. This is probably the only location my family of four can agree on! Have eaten a few different things & NO complaints!!! Fries are probably the best I've ever had!! Heard all about this place from friends and social media, i also read all the reviews, some people said it was fantastic while some said they would never go back. I had to check it out for myself I was digging the layout, big screen that could be seen from anywhere in the dining area, the customer service was awesome, everyone had a smile on their face. So i ordered the 5 and 5, five chicken strips and five chicken wings with fries and toast and a coors light. The chicken strips were awesome, nice and juicy and crispy and went great with my inferno dipping sauce. That sauce was like a real smokey jerky flavor, i was impressed for sure, the fries were hot and crisp and lightly seasoned. I think the chicken wings could of been fried just a bit longer, kind of on the soggy side. Nothing that a simple request next time i head over there wont fix. The beer was cold and my wife and i were loving the chicken. We will be back for sure. read more

My boyfriend and I went to this location because it's close to our apartment. As soon as we walked in we were greeted politely by Alexande. It was our first time and he said "If you have any question just let me know." Once we had ordered we got our drinks and sat down. The food was brought to us, fast, fresh, and flavorful. We started eating and the manager came by to see how everything was and to see if we needed anything else. I got the Cayenne Ranch Chicken Sandwich and my boyfriend got a Hungry Plate. Went there as a family and we all loved it. I got the buffalo bleu chicken salad, got the kids mild wings and chicken tenders, and the hubs got the mango habanero wings. Everything tastes great! The kids and my husband said the wings were way better than the wing place down the street. They have some great tea as well in different flavors, all good. I came in on Saturday (Forth of July) And it was our first time here at Slim chickens I have to admit. Being our first time we knew nothing on the menu and might have taken a little longer than most. We ended up ordering A Chicken and waffles along with a Buffalo Blues Salad. When I got to the window I didn't want to make a big deal out of it but I asked to switch something out (Buffalo salad for the Slim Salad) And the little girl at the window was so forgiving and caring about everything I have to give props to her! Usually when we go through a drive thru people just shut the window and ignore you....I will have to say I talk alot sometimes and She wasn't rude about it at all I had a genuine Conversation with her (I think her name was Makayla) And I will be coming back expecting to see her! Along with her I was also happy with the young man who took my order. When we took to long and he answered all of our questions but I didn't get his name The service was fast I have to say we went in the line for long and when we got home we enjoyed the food. This is average fare at its best. The chicken is rather dry and bland. The breading is very light, similar to Chick-fil-a or Raising Canes. The difference though is that it has no crunch or texture to it unlike cane's. I had the basic 5 tender meal and the sauces were plain as well. The highlight of the meal is the french fries. If you like a rubbery kind of chicken strip, give it a try. It was certainly served fresh and the service was quick and friendly. Patio seating and the Texas toast were the only things that were good here. Wings tasted like cheap frozen wings I coulda got at the grocery store. Even the fountain drinks were terrible. They had a ton of employees walking around for no reason but no one thought to check the fountain drinks if it needs to be replaced. Sweet tea and peach sweet tea was watered down and didn't have much of a tea taste. Ok the chicken strips were good I'll give them that but only because of the Mango Habanero dipping sauce. The place just opened up and it wasn't packed while being on one of the busier streets here towards Keller. No wonder. They had signs of free wifi and we couldn't connect. I know we got here 20 minutes before they close and on a Friday evening but my girlfriend and I ordered their 8 wing plate with fries and a drink, not impressed whatsoever! Wings came out lukewarm like they had been sitting under a heat lamp then tossed in their medium sauce, which wasn't bad, fries came out hot and fresh but loaded with some salty seasoning used here. Even after seeing that there were customers dining in, the employees went ahead and turned off the soda machines so we had to have them go into the back and get us our drinks. So I've been seeing these pop up everywhere and I was so excited to try a new chicken place! My step daughter and I both ordered the 3 piece meal she got hers with gravy and ranch I ordered mine with cayenne ranch and slim sauce and we ordered fried pickles. So we get home and open our boxes and the first thing we notice is the toast is burnt, then notice they gave us 2 ranch sauces and that's it (and yes I was charged for the extra sauces that I did not receive) bummer but we both like ranch so we were like whatever. We open the fried pickles and they were the most soggy nasty fried pickles I have ever had. Determined to like something we tried the chicken strips and they were like rubber. Needless to say we threw $22 of food in the trash. Unfortunately it was such a bad experience I can't say I would ever waste more money to give this place a second chance. read more

Me and my husband decided to check this place out! I liked that you can choose grilled vs fried. I ordered the 3 by 3. I turn down the fries and ordered a side potato salad instead. The chicken tenders were okay, there was really no flavor to it. The Texas toast was too buttered for my liking. I did have the mango habanero sauce to dip and the flavor was great, it definitely had a kick but I wished it would have been warm and not served cold! My husband had the wrap and it was a decent size for the price. He was very pleased with the side of mac & cheese he ordered. I haven't tried very many things here because I can't get past the chicken and waffles. I crave them! The waffle is big and fluffy but nice and crisp on the outside. The chicken tenders are small but delicious. Lightly breaded so you taste the flavorful chicken. They are juicy and not overcooked. Maybe someday I will try some of the other menu items...maybe. Have tried this place three times. I like the concept and there isn't really anything like this in the area also I came again tonight. It was towards the end of close, but there were a few cars behind me as well. I ordered a chicken strip sandwich meal when the guy said "uhh with what?" Which I responded "with fries" which the menu said came with fries but he corrected me and said he meant to drink. Anyways, ordered, and say in front of the window for a good 7 mins. Maybe they were focused on closing up but they were still open. Received my food and it seemed the wait was bc they forgot about my food which you can see the bread is burned and the fries (after 7 mins I was sure they'd be fresh) were cold and you could tell they had been sitting under the lamp. A bunch of teenagers was exactly what I saw thought he drive threw goofing off. It's a shame, If the staff could pay attention, they might have more business. read more
