I placed an online pickup order , and when I got my food, I realized part of my order was missing. I called the store, and they told me they had run out of that item... but I was still charged for it, and no one informed me ahead of time. The website didn't notify me during the ordering process, and no one at the store mentioned it when I picked up the order. As a college student, I don't have extra money to waste on food I never received. It's really frustrating and disappointing that there was no communication. I finally told them to give me my money back after such a long wait and EXTREMELY rude people working in the store. No one was in a hurry and no one was trying to make it right. While the service was nice, the worker at the cash register informed us that they were out of chicken tenders for the night... at 9:15 pm... 45 minutes before the restaurant closes. Some might say that this particular piece of information is confusing as this is a restaurant that serves only chicken tenders. I have always found that it is an interesting business model to stop cooking food before a restaurant closes. Fried chicken fingers. One of the hardest foods to screw up. They don't screw it up here, but what the will screw up is your order. I've been here on two or three occasions and this place shares the same problem as the Zaxby's in town, never get an order right. The chicken isn't anything above average or something to go out of your way for. The sauces are decent, yet again nothing exceptional. Starkville suffers from mediocre chains for the most part. This seemed like a smaller chain that had potential, but fell flat. I try to support local chains like that, but i just can't find one that performs for some reason. If you really want chicken fingers I couldn't recommend this place over Zaxby's. They are pretty similar, but Zaxby's just has an edge. Went on a Friday around 12:30pm. It wasn't very busy around two cars in front of me. Line went fast at first. I ordered chicken with fries and fried pickles. Would not order the fried pickles again. I would leave zero stars and that would really encompass the situation my friends and I just endured for an hour of our lives. We chose this establishment because we assumed it would be quick quality food and we love the branch in our hometown. We were wrong. We ordered and sat and waited for our food for an hour. At the hour point the food runner started collecting receipts of customers and telling everyone to leave and that they'd get a refund. Then we realized that we could only get a refund if we stood in line and physically swiped our card so there are definitely patrons who left thinking they'd get a refund but did not. the refund process took another 30+ minutes of our life that we will never recover in any capacity and we left with no food. We had our drinks which was another issue because the machine had no ice, it was poorly calibrated so the drinks tasted nasty, there were no large cups and also no straws. The bathroom also had an unrelated but very bad smell. For the 2 slim plates they failed to provide the requested dipping sauces. For one of the salads they did not provide the salad dressing. Of course we find this when we get home... It's good to have something different from zaxbys, it reminds me of the chicken at Raising Caine's or Foosacklys so I'm glad to have this here in Starkville. Used to love the food but now don't. Don't use the app to order after 8 pm. If you order, you won't get drinks because they break down the drink machines in the lobby and won't allow you to get them from the drive through. You will be able to choose between water without ice or warm lemonade if there is leftover. Plus never use the app if you are planning to drive through because they make you come inside to get your mobile order. The fried tenders are always as soggy as the fries and don't taste fresh. I guess they cook a big batch of each about 7:30 and just dole them out and microwave them. Probably won't ever go back and will tell my friends and family the same. read more

This ratings is purely based on customer service. My children and I went there for dinner last night and my meal was slow coming out. I would say at least 15min past their normal service time. Both the server and two other employees came to acknowledge and apologize for the slow service. In addition they gave us a treat for having to wait which we gladly accepted. I never let on like I was displeased however they had the discernment to realize that the time was not acceptable for a fast food restaurants service time. Good job and we will be back. read more

The food here is really really great. A little overpriced, but still very good. They definitely skimp on the fries when you order a plate, which for the prices they charge is annoying. The drive-thru is always slow, it doesn't matter how many customers they have, you will have a slow experience. Also, if going through the drive-they always check your order before driving away because they have a tendency to forget parts of your order. Worst non-service ever. Sat at drive-through for over seven minutes, said hello twice, then blew my horn. Still no response. Pulled up to the window, the restaurant looked closed. During this time three cars pulled up behind me. Waitress pulled the window open and I asked if I could place my order there. She told me that I had to go back around and get in the line. I told her it was unfair for me to get in line behind people who came after I did it. Then another young lady appeared at the window. She stated that it was quite rude of me to blow my horn because she was the only one there while I was looking at two of them. I told her that I had been sitting at the window for quite some time. She stated that her hands were full and she could not respond to me while she was wearing a hands-free headset. They both refused to serve me and I drove off. If in fact these are the only two people there at your restaurant, you have left your restaurant in the wrong hands. I have received excellent service in the city of Starkville.
