This was amazing and I arrived a little early and as soon as I did, they went ahead and started on the order and while I was waiting, I got my drinks. Then the lady working the Front was super sweet and she actually brought my food over to the table I was at it and it was very fast. Everything was hot and fresh even when I got home everything was correct and it was a great experience. The restaurant was bright and clean, and I will definitely be back. What is so great about this location is the service. After I got my food, one of the workers came and asked if everything came out okay. After I finished, he asked if I was done and took my tray away. I was in complete shock by the service received considering a self-service restaurant. Does Slim Chickens have the best chicken? No. The wings were better than the tenders. I can confidently say the chicken tenders are not as good as Canes. I liked the wings much better and the mango habanero sauce. I came in today as they were doing a promotion where each customer got a free 3 piece meal. The line was all the way out the door and the store was packed for hours. Despite this, each team member was friendly, patient, and paid attention to detail. They were quick to clean dirty tables and invite those standing to sit. It was a true Sunday fun day family feast! A large group of us headed this way after church for a bite to eat, I thought it would be busy but we made it in just before a few other large groups came in. Even so, we were taken care of lickety-split. A very friendly and patient young man (maybe the manager) took our order and was extremely kind and very flexible. When I say patient- I mean it. He had to watch a family member and I fight over who was going to pay for well over two minutes. Lol lol! Our food was on our table- hot and fresh before we even sat down with our drinks. The wings with the Cheyenne Ranch dry rub are top notch. Fries are tasty, toast is ok, but not bad. Kids love it. The only downside is the dessert jars are limited (when out for the day, they are out). The cookies and cream cheesecake jar is one of my favorite desserts. read more

I love slim chickens. Never had an issue but today I ordered the fried pickles and the classic chicken sandwich for the first time. The friend pickles were drenched in oil and soggy because of it. It almost seemed as the oil wasn't ready when cooking them so they weren't very crunchy. The chicken sandwich was very rubbery for some reason. It didn't seemed overcooked so maybe just a bad piece. So that sucks, the texture of the dreadful rubbery chicken piece is never good! Lol it was mainly in the middle of sandwich too not the whole piece. Anyways the tenders were great as always! She made a note and posted it in the 'Manager's Office', to make sure that our order would be 'Correct', this time around. I spoke with a Very Cool and Accommodating Manager (Gabriel), who handled our order. As I stated previously (in My 1st Review of 'Slim Chicken's'), their Staff is Always Nice and Friendly & this was NO different or exception! If you want good chicken strips, go to Canes or zaxbys. If you want good wings, go to Louie's or wing stop. This chicken was all so tough I could barely swallow it (even covered in sauce). The fries are plain mediocre. The sweet tea also can't compare to canes or chik fila. I wasn't impressed at all and the prices are pretty high especially for the tiny pieces of chicken you get (compared to other similar chains). I will say the service was great. I placed an order for delivery which was for a group of nine people. I paid with my credit card and also provided a tip. I never received my order. Slim chickens charged my card the day that I placed the order which was 1 day before it was to be delivered. Slim Chickens allowed a door dash driver to pick up my order without checking the name of the driver. The management told me that my order was taken and delivered then said it had be canceled then told me I had to contact Door Dash to get my refund. I called Slim Chickens after calling Door Dash because according to them Slim Chickens is supposed to provide my refund. I called SC twice to speak to a manager and they are avoiding my phone call. The situation was more confusing and frustrating than it sounds. I won't order from either one again. read more
