Came here on Monday for a little brunch with my sister. As soon as you walk in it is the coziest and cutest most tranquil place you could ever walk into. Although that may be different on a weekend. Our waitress was really sweet and attentive at the beginning. Our food was brought out really fast and was delicious. Zucchini sticks - amazing. The perfect consistency. Breakfast bowl - my sister ordered this and I didn't try it but she loved it with all of the grains and vegetables. Salmon salad - this was amazing. Full of flavor fresh hit the spot. French toast - really good. But i wish the fruit was integrated more into the french toast. Bacon - i could have eaten the whole plate. The only reason it didn't give them five stars was because the waitress was the only one working that day and I had to stop her several times for certain items. I don't blame her, she was actually really good, but if people had called out she could've use some assistance with checking waters and coffee's so she wasn't all alone. read more

After almost a 10 year hiatus, I finally got a chance to dine here again. The food has gotten so much better from what I remember and the service was fantastic. The ambiance hasn't changed at all from what I remember & I totally dig that. This place is off a busy street, so parking can be tough to find. The menu has a lot to choose from. The menu does change around 2PM and their dinner menu starts around 4PM. The breakfast/lunch menu has a ton to offer. The dinner menu has some delicious choices as well. The peanut butter was sooooo good! I really wanted peanut noodle but didn't want to drive anywhere. So this fulfilled my craving. Espresso malt was a good choice but decided to save that one for the morning. Had already had my cup of coffee today. They do charge extra for the malt around $.75! Just heads up. Blue cheese fries! I love coming to Manhattan Beach and I've been wanting to try this place out for forever, but they're usually pretty busy and I'm usually pretty hungry (aka need to eat asap :]), so we end up going elsewhere. THIS time we got there nice n early and boyyy has it been worth the wait! First of all, the restaurant is sooo cute! I love the ambiance, with tree trunk cut tables, flowers and plants everywhere, a fireplace right in the middle... just dreamy. The nice lady that served us was so friendly and accommodating. We had called to ask if it's busy and if they have high chairs, and because it was early she saved us a prime spot right by the fireplace. She was super sweet and provided excellent service! As for the food n beverages, they have great coffee and hot chocolate, the orange juice is fresh as can be, and the food is delish! Honestly, I was hungry (what's new?) and totally forgot to take pics, but it all looked and tasted great! I had the avocado toast with breakfast potatoes and added a 'beyond' sausage... all yum. My husband had the smoked salmon lux, which he said was really good too. There was so much more that we wanted to try, but the baby was getting restless (it was nap time), so I'm looking forward to coming back the next time we're in town! read more

This is a great breakfast spot that I've been meaning to try out in person, as I've been ordering from them on food delivery apps and never got the full experience until yesterday. I love the woodsy/natural decor that they have, it adds to their cozy atmosphere. We sat in the far back area of the restaurant, and they had Christmas decorations up and heat lamps which were very nice since it was cold. We ordered the buttermilk pancakes, the loaded breakfast potato, and the breakfast tacos. Everything was absolutely delicious. The only thing that I would probably change is the loaded breakfast potato. The name itself is a little misleading, so I was anticipating that it was going to be a baked potato covered with two over easy eggs and vegetables, and this was not the case. They were fried a little potatoes in a skillet covered with roasted vegetables and two eggs. Nevertheless it was delicious I just didn't care for how small the skillet was because the food continued to fall off over the side and it went everywhere. Despite that, I would still highly recommend it as it was extremely good and I would definitely order again. Pricing is fairly reasonable it's about $12-$18 per person and we also got coffee on top of that and our bill came out to about $55 so for three plates and two coffees. I would say that was pretty good. The service itself was great, our waitress was friendly and welcoming. She constantly checked in on us to make sure that our coffees and waters were full. The food came out very quickly, probably about 12-15 minutes after ordering. I would highly recommend trying out this spot, only issue is the parking. It is metered street parking only. read more

The cafe is located on a pretty busy street, Highland Ave. We met our friends there and placed our order inside but waited outside since we were taking it to go. I went for the chai tea latte. The best chai I've had hands down. The spices were on point, and sweetness down to a perfection, I also used oat milk. The indoor plants and setup make this place truly one of a kind and, by that, I really mean that you will not find anything like this in LA or perhaps even CA. Tried the French toast, breakfast burrito, sweet potato tots and potatoes (can't have too much potato). The French toast was probably a favorite served with berries and some syrup and butter. Perfectly crisp and soft with great flavor. The breakfast burrito was okay but probably wouldn't get it again. The artichokes and abundance of sauce made it a bit too overwhelming/acidic, but I was grateful to have some breakfast potatoes with it to help balance it out. Sweet potato tots are definitely a go-to and compliment any dish. Probably wouldn't go back since there are too many breakfast places to try in Manhattan beach, but definitely worth a try. First time here. The food was good. No complaints. I ordered the $6 nitro cold brew. Also, it is good although a bit expensive. I asked if they gave refills on their regular drip coffee, a couple of dollars cheaper than the cold brew. They do. I asked, although I didn't order the drip coffee but the more expensive nitro, if I could have a cup of coffee as if I bought the drip. This is not a crazy ask. I've eaten at many places that will do that if you buy the more expensive coffee drink. My server said I had to buy a coffee separately. That seems cheap. It's a small thing to do for a customer.
