    Chicken Quesadilla
    Jonathan A.

Stopped by for lunch on a Friday while biking on the trail. Ordering was easy at the counter and they delivered it to our outside seats. I went with the chicken quesadilla which was surprisingly stuffed full and delicious. Probably one of the better ones in Pittsburgh value wise. Would definitely come again.

Great place to grab a bite after a walk on the river trail. Lots of inside and outside seating, and dog friendly. Service is usually fast. Our favorite is the cheeseburger pizza--always a crispy crust and great mix of flavors.

This was the perfect rest stop after biking on the trail. You can see their menu online, but need to place the order at the counter. I got the patty melt and it was just what I wanted. It was basically a smashed burger in grilled cheese form. What's not to love?! I like that they have outdoor seating. It has a very laidback feel to it. Our food came out quickly. I would definitely stop by for more next time I'm in the area again.

Greatbbeer and great live music. This is a cool spot for sports watching or date night!

I love the beer and the atmosphere here. The food is basic bar food--nothing to get excited about. On my last visit I enjoyed a Maibock at an outdoor table as cyclists came and went and trains occasionally rolled by. I also ordered the hummus plate, sans feta, and was surprised that it came with hella greasy pita chips. I would much prefer fresh bread or pita over fried chips, any day. The hummus itself and accoutrements were delicious. Despite the greasy chips, I am glad this place exists and will be back. It's a great place to stop if you're riding the bike trails through South Side.

I was here following a walk event. The event lasted until 7. I was only able to stop for a beer bc the kitchen closed at 7:45. I'll have to come back to try the food bc the menu looked fantastic. I got a sour beer which was perfection on the early spring day. The ambience was perfect for hanging out with friends and grabbing a bite after work!

Stopped in for a beer while on a bike ride and the atmosphere and service was nice great tasting beer

Obviously this location is much larger than the tasting room downtown. Nice layout, standard brewery design. Open with large outdoor seating. Tasty pub fare. Always delish pours. Energetic and fun-loving staff. HUGE SUPPORTERS OF QUEER ART!!!! Definitely a spot I'd take out of town guests to.

I came here with my staff for a post holiday lunch together. I enjoyed my pizza immensely. Warm soft crust, tomato sauce that didn't overpower the basil or cheese. The serving was Just enough to almost make you feel not guilty for eating all of it. Almost... Because I was on the clock I didn't get a beer but I'll be back.

View of Liberty Bridge from the parking area. Tons of parking!

Dined and shared some brews as part of a large group. Service was fast. Beer selection was big, but not like some places where they're out of half the selections. This was the perfect array of choices for everyone. The food menu had sharable apps, a variety of hand helds, and pizza. Given the giant pizza oven that dominated the kitchen, I opted for margherita pizza plus pepperoni. Fabulous. Table mates had the cheese steak )also good) and the hot chicken sandwich (only ok). We scarfed the food down before I got pics but I did take a picture of the bridge from the very ample parking area. Highly recommend this place!

My first stop in Pittsburgh, I landed here and found parking along the riverside towards the Color Park. I was warmly welcomed here and spent an hour or two sipping at beers, watching people and enjoying their speedy wifi. I didn't eat but I did have a very pleasant time and would definitely return. Ugh... I'm sorry.. the beer is fine and it's a nice location with tons of space but the food was really terrible :-( First.. the pretzel bites were very weird. Very spongy and overly greasy. I had the chicken bacon ranch wrap and my partner had the Grilled Chicken Sandwich and both were pretty terrible. Also.. it took like 5 seconds for everything to come out after placing the order so definitely not fresh. I would go again for a beer but would definitely eat elsewhere.

Yinz better get on dahn to SlyFox for a pizza & a beer. I love their pizza! Great bloody marys, good beer selection, large open concept with lots of seating. The employees are friendly, and all in all this place has the perfect vibes. I love coming here in the warm months especially and during "Pittsburgh Pickers" events and other events that go on around there. Can't beat it!

Not pictured but you NEED to get a Cindy's Tea when you come here. They sell these in cans as well I always try and grab a pack if we don't bike here! Their crunch wrap is my favorite thing on their menu. If I'm not getting it as my meal I'm forcing it as a table shareable it is that good. Usually I just get their fries with it which is always yummy but this time I tried their mac and it was so delicious! The Chicken Caesar wrap was so good normally I think places never put enough dressing in them but this was perfectly dressed! We tried their Heirloom Tomato & Watermelon Salad and added chicken to it. Idk where I've been but watermelon on a salad?! AMAZING!!! I wouldn't take off or add anything else to this(except chicken clearly lol) it was so refreshing and light and perfect!

This location is huge so it's perfect for large groups. While the downstairs is primarily to go and…read morebar seating, the upstairs has full table service. This is a little different as they are set up with toast where you scan the QR menu and place your order and then they bring the food or drink to your table. You don't really have a server per se. We came in on a Friday afternoon around 4 o'clock and it was pretty quiet. We chose to sit upstairs and ordered the season of the month chicken wings. It was sour cream and cheddar dry rub. We did get them well done and I'm glad we did because it did make them crunchy here although they still weren't all that crunchy. The dry rub was actually really good, but it was a little bit like eating Cheetos as when you took your fingers away they were covered in orange powder. My husband tried their wheat ale - the easy golden. It was okay, but a little hop forward for him. They did have a arsenal cider on tap so I chose that for my beverage.

My girl friends and I came after four years of me wanting to come here. I love Gravel Grinder and live close to an OTB so heard of Dancing Gnome from that. Finally made our way there and well, make sure you do not bring young kids. My friend had an 18 month old with us and as she was BUYING a beer from them, the guy who worked there asked if she "could keep the screaming to a minimum." An eighteen month old!!! And Mother's Day is tomorrow, nice. He said that they had to draw a line somewhere and he wasn't kidding. The 18 month old was not running around screaming crying all day. We were outside having the kids play and when my friend was buying a beer he got a bit fussy and was told to keep it to a minimum. Needless to say, we will NOT be coming back. If you have small children, I would not suggest this place. Super disappointing. I've always hyped their beer and place up and now I can't support it. We ended up going to Grist House and it was a WAY better vibe and WAY busier...I wonder why. I should have known when their sign said no dogs allowed.
