Ordered the 4-cheese mac for delivery, and it was definitely worth it. The mac came in a bowl inside a cute little pizza box, and you really do get a large portion for just nosh size - very filling for one person. The breadcrumbs kind of made the top layer a little too stiff and chewy, but the rest of the mac was loaded cheesy goodness. Don't think I'll order again for a while, just because it's SO CHEESY you definitely need a break before eating this kind of meal again, but I'd love to go in person one day and check out their serving skillets. read more

Loved that they had kiosks where you can order, makes the ordering process and experience feel so much easier and faster. My friend ordered the *All-American* which was a blend of American & Cheddar cheese. I ordered the Garden Lite (which I regretted later on). It's a combination of Cheddar, Parmesan, roasted cauliflower, and portobello mushrooms, roasted garlic, broccoli and scallions. I forgot what size we ordered. I thought the mac and cheese was just okay. I didn't really enjoy mine too much and don't know why I ordered one without meat. S'MAC SMACKS! I have visited S'MAC at least once a week since I moved to the area. It is tradition and everyone I brought here loves it. Personally, I cannot get enough of the Mediterranean which included spinach, feta, and olives. It is perfectly balanced between the toppings and the classic cheese goodness. If you are looking for something simpler try the All American or 4 Cheese or if you really want to venture outside the traditional bounds of mac and cheese try the Cajun or Masala. I would like to try and build my own but paying 50¢ for each topping seems a bit much, adding both basil or a protein would cost the same. Besides that, I think their menu is mastered with a variety of different sizes (the small size "nosh" is perfect since it is pretty filling), options to customize from GF noodles and vegan cheeses all the way up to the amount of breadcrumbs you would like. I love supporting S'MAC because they do everything right. Keeping their doors open, when you go inside to order the air is fresh and circulating, they adapted well to the pandemic. If I could give 3.5 stars, I would. Maybe today wasn't the day with S'mac from what I had heard. We had gotten the philly cheesesteak mac and cheese and in my opinion, I had enjoyed it. But there's potential how s'mac can make it better. I had ate two bowls of this mac and i'm pretty sure I had stumbled upon 3 pieces of steak lol. There was a ton of onions and a good amount of green peppers, but where is the steak? It was like almost $17 for a medium and ai just had expected more. It was underwhelming but the cheeses in this mix went very well. How do I know? I found myself enjoying the crunch on top of the breadcrumbs and that mac n cheese sound in the middle. They have plenty of options or you can customize it yourself! There's also vegan/GF options. It does get hot inside, so I highly recommend scoring a seat by the open windows. Alpine: two types of cheese with "slab bacon". It was very good and decadent. Definitely a bit oily, which I expected. My friend has dietary restrictions so she customized her order: GF pasta, vegan cheese, broccoli, garlic, and sausage. She really enjoyed it and said it was one of the better vegan cheeses she's had! Hands down one of my favorite place to treat myself when I am getting into a funk. This is a no frill spot (plastic utensils, plastic curtains separating dine in and pickup area but does have some decent outdoor seating) but I honestly don't go here for the dining in experience. Due to COVID, everything is contactless so you order on iPads that they have set up. I mainly love this place because it has a gluten free mac and cheese option (vegan option is also available) and how easy it is to customize your order. I've gotten quite a few flavors over the past years but I will say that the masala option is my favorite - an Indian twist to a classic American dish!! It is a little more towards the pricey side but you do get what you pay for. One suggestion: I wish they had some sort of loyalty program, like the more money you spend you get points towards a free entree or something! I've been coming to S'Mac for years, however I've laid off the mac and cheese since becoming vegan. I was pleasantly surprised to know that they offer vegan mac! And it's good!! My favorite is adding garlic spinach and hot sauce just to flavor it up a bit. But I am overall impressed by the vegan mac recipe they've come up with, that doesn't just include a ton gross vegan cheese. Service is pretty quick too. I must say I was extremely underwhelmed considering that if this is a mac and cheese store you'd think they'd have amazing mac and cheese. The burger meat reminded me of what school burgers tasted like which is not a good thing. The taste over all for both was kind of bland. The customer service could also use some improvement. My friend ordered the 4 cheese and accidentally put gluten free noodles in the kioks. Right away she told the dude if he could change it to regular noodles and he verbatim said the gluten free noodles have gluten as well! When she and I both tried hers, the noodles were extremely overcooked! It was just gross. She brought the reminder to her dad and even he said no thanks after trying it. Funny enough all of them said it doesn't compare to my own Mac and Cheese LOL!!! I was just hoping to have a place that makes it better than the one I tried before at a different r restaurant. I've come here multiple times, and every single time it never disappoints. One of my favorite dishes to eat is Mac and cheese, so when I discovered this place it was like heaven. My all time favorite thing to order, hands down, is definitely the four cheese even though I haven't tried all the signature dishes yet. When it's not as crowded, the pressure to snag a table is less burdening and service is much smoother and faster. That being said, there isn't much service at all; you place your order on a tablet and water is self-serve. Most people get the sampler ($17) which offers an array of 8 different signature flavors of mac 'n cheese. If that sounds like too much food, I would recommend coming with some friends and ordering a Nosh-sized skillet each and sharing that way. I also liked that the ordering process is entirely automated, it makes this place a lot more casual. The interior was cute as well, my only complaint being that there wasn't much space between tables (especially by the window). I ordered the 4 cheese Mac with extra bread crumbs. The bread crumb top was delicious but I felt they could've added some more, it made me wonder what "regular" bread crumbs would've been like. So. Freaking. Crowded. They also don't have people taking orders anymore-- its just kiosks. Ive been a customer for about 4 years and can say that their flavor/quality has never been under par. I always get All-American mac and cheese with the bread crumbs on top.
