They told me my washer likely needed a control board replacement for $700, though they said it could be the door lock for $300, which was the original issue since the washer would not unlock. I am happy with the service provided; he worked cleanly and communicated clearly what issues he uncovered plus what steps needed to come next. My issue took longer than expected to resolve due to appliance part orders and repeat visits for install, but Valerii explained his diagnostic rationale to me and each visit really did bring us closer to making the machine work like new. I really can't understand all the positive reviews here... my experience was terrible. My AC was very slow to cool. First American Home warranty assigned this company. The guy that came out only checked the freon level and said there's nothing wrong with the system. I told him it shouldn't take 1/2 hour to an hour to cool the house and asked if he could check the condenser, filter, etc. and he flat out refused saying there's nothing wrong with the system. I called the business to see if they could send someone else out but was told they only have that one person in my area. Also, the truck the technician drives has no business info other than a large skull, guns, etc. decals. I paid $125 service call only to have my husband spend hours cleaning the condenser and replacing the filter, which is what he should've done. I do not recommend this business. read more

After checking a few things he gave us the news: motherboard burned out. I guessed that a new one would be pricey, and we already had a problem with the Scandinavian dishwasher before. So while he put everything back together I went online looking at dishwashers. Found one I liked that had great reviews and was on sale and asked Bogdan what he thought. He checked it out and said it was a good one. We got the estimate and it was more than the new dishwasher, so the new one is being installed next week. Smartchoice has sent Bogdan to us twice. Around the holidays, we had a series of appliance mishaps - first A/C, then washer, then dryer, then oven. Long story short, I saw Valerii every other week for about two months. His helpful attitude and clear communication about each issue was top notch. Our dogs even loved him and got used to having him around haha. Service was definitely 5 stars. The only negative was that there was a long delay at times in getting replacement parts - not sure if this was fault of the vendor/administration or if it's just something everyone has to deal with, but that was the only issue we really had - waiting on parts.
