After researching MANY ways to whiten my teeth... especially after losing dental insurance, where out-of-pocket cleanings can be quite pricey, I found Smile Labs. I didn't know what to expect, but I was praying for a miracle, because that's how bad I was feeling about my stained teeth. I have had discolored teeth my whole life due to a medication my Mom had to take when she was pregnant with me. In the past I've tried the whitening trays/gel from the dentist's office. What's the first thing you notice about most people? For me, I'd say it's their smile and teeth. I decided my teeth needed some brightening, and I hadn't had my teeth professionally whitened in years (I just use whitening toothpaste and strips), plus I wanted results right away. So after researching some different places on Yelp, I decided to give this place a try. They have online reservations, which I love, so I was able to get the time and date I wanted, and it was also easy to find (across the street from New Seasons). There really isn't parking in front, but you can park across the street in the garage, so pretty easy. After arriving and signing the paperwork, the owner, Lisa, explained the process to me and after two 15 minutes sessions, my teeth were about 2-3 shades lighter. It was really easy and done before I knew it. I also got the remineralization treatment afterwards, which I would highly recommend (helps with any sensitivity you may have and seals the pores of your teeth). I was actually concerned with sensitivity, because I've had issues after using whitening strips. But I had NO sensitivity afterwards, which was great. Also, the price was very reasonable, so that's a bonus. Overall it was an easy experience, and even though my teeth were pretty white to begin with, I'm really happy with the results. They are much brighter, and I plan on doing some maintenance 2-3 times a year, to keep them nice and white. This was a great experience on all counts. I have been going through a post-divorce remake process which also involved brightening my smile. Lisa was totally professional even though she was having serious back pain on the day I came in. I chose the double whitening session and my teeth looked white and luminous afterwards.
