Don't bother!! Read all the bad reviews. She forces you to write a good review in your first visit to hide all the bad reviews. I'm not the only one writing an essay about how bad this place is. I went to Dr. Rankovic last year. My first visit was fine, she talked a lot during the visit and it took longer than expected and she kept pushing me to get a deep cleaning even though I didn't need jt. After that I had to get fillings done. When I initially scheduled my first visit for the filling the front desk told me my insurance covered some of the filling. When I got there Dr. Rankovic called my insurance while I was in the chair and then stated my insurance didn't cover fillings. I left and called my insurance and the dentist was wrong. After that I went back and did fillings. This experience was not great. She put the numbing cream and immediately put a shot. I felt the shot go in and it was the worst pain I've felt in my life. She couldn't even wait the 10 minutes to get the numbing cream to work. After I got my fillings done they fell out three times. I would say it's because she's in such a rush to finish that she doesn't give the quality she should have. By the third time I went again she talked down to me like a child and said she would charge me if the filling came out again. I don't get why this is my fault when she's the one that is rushing. By this time I called my insurance and asked if she could do that. My insurance ended up speaking to her and she told them she would never touch my teeth again to get my refund. When I went to get my refund Dr. Rankovic was arguing with another lady about her name not matching the insurance. I don't understand why she loves to argue with patients. I got my refund and left. I ended up having to go back again to get my X-rays and had to pay a fee to get the X-rays. They're not even the original films they're screenshots?!?? I'm gonna go somewhere more expensive where the dentist is nicer. The front desk women were always nice to me. I wish them the best. For now I have to find another dentist because my filling fell out again for the fourth time. Don't waste your time here ! I do sincerely love the entire experience! For Dr.Ana is but skillful, diligent and above all, compassionate. She is a rare Person, who helped me rid of a lot of sufferings I was through with the other dentistry, back in Torrance who dealt me a major injury. Consistency and prudence matters! Wish I could give less then one star went in to get three wisdom teeth removed the dr didn't pay attention and only extracted two when she was suppose to extract three she then lied to me stating it needs a surgery and that she was unable to take care of the last tooth that I needed to remove so I reschedule ok no worries I try and re schedule just for them to call the day before and cancel my appointment then they fit me in a month later just to pull out my wisdom tooth like it was a regular extraction (no surgery) and leave a giant hole in my cheek and cut up my lip and she never closed up the cut she made in my mouth and the procedure took an hour and thirty minutes I was sweating from my palms shaking in the chair cause the numbing wasn't enough and the pain was so bad 1/10 would never recommend this place even if insurance will cover it read more

Did a walk in w/ no appointment and was out with satisfactory work in an hour. Dr Ana fixed my filling and saved me from having to invest in a crown which is not cheap. First thing nothing was working in the office it was hot and sticky I went in the place was sloppy . The dentist (Ana) was sitting by the computer , the dentist was a very rude person. She was on the computer, trying to find information to get me started, but she couldn't so instead of calling someone to help her she got frustrated and I guess it was my fault because she was ignorant or maybe she's cheap and not trying to hire good folks I think her receptionist was in the parking lot I think on her phone but overall the doctor was rude and because of this, I will never go back to that hell hole stay away from them spend your money with people that appreciate you and appreciate your business not with quick tempered angry short fused low IQ dentist! read more

Dr. Ana Rankovic is the best dentist I have ever had! Believe me when I say, I've had my fair share of dentists. Dr. Rankovic is friendly, cares about her patients, and is even bilingual in both English & Spanish (BIG plus). She caters to each patient to their own unique request. When I needed a root-canal, Dr. Rankovic is one of the few dentists that accepted my insurance and her work exceeded my expectation. I know some people who do not have insurance that go to see her as she is able to create an affordable payment plan for them. We had the most traumatic experience by this place. No hygiene or sterilization at all. It was already late when noticed no equipment has been sterilized and was only able to escape after the first preliminary examination. Now had to go through all the bloodworks for any serious disease that we might have exposed. Don't want to even mention the psychological trauma it caused. Working on all the legal actions with the necessary complaints and will look for the state inspection as this place is a serious risk for the public health. read more

Love and appreciate Dr Ana's friendly helpful professional service. She explained with much details everything she was doing and will be doing on my teeth and what's covered by my insurance and what wasn't covered in which she kindly gave me the option to choose after know what the difference was I felt confident. She saw me the first day I called, because someone canceled. I got x-rays, and a cleaning, both done all free and on the same day with nothing but a friendly caring staff (Dr Ana and her assistant Maria) runs the whole business by them selves and does such a brilliant job. I am not the sort of person who ever writes reviews of businesses online (I made a yelp account just for this). But my experience here was so bad, it feels like a disservice not to warn other people. Never in my whole life have I experienced such incompetence and I work in retail. I got to my appointment fifteen minutes early so I could fill out new patient forms. But there was no one at the front desk. No one came out of the dental room for over half an hour. By the time I did talk to the receptionist, there were two people who did not have appointments also waiting. The receptionist let those people in to see the dentist before me even though it was already past my appointment time. I ended up sitting in their waiting room for over two hours (and they do not have ac). When I finally got to see the dentist, she took about forty X-rays of my mouth using equipment that did not look clean. Once I got into the chair and told her about my pain and how I thought it might be my wisdom teeth, Dr. Rankovic told me she hadn't taken any X-rays of my wisdom teeth! But she said that didn't matter and they would get me a referral for an oral surgeon. Weeks go by and I hadn't gotten any word from the dentist or the insurance company. I called the insurance and they say they haven't received any referrals for me. I call the dentist and the receptionist assured me that they have done everything they are supposed to. I go back and forth calling these two for another two weeks. Both of them say that they've done everything they can. Eventually, I asked the insurance representative to open a grievance complaint for me. As soon as they did, Dr. Rankovic's office was magically able to send them my forms. But only half filled out and missing the X-rays! The insurance company went back and forth with them for another two weeks, requesting the completed documents. But every single time they just kept sending the same, half-finished forms. One of the insurance representatives told me that he has never experienced a dental office that was so difficult. In the end, I just ended up switching to a new dentist because Dr. Rankovic and her employees are not capable of doing their jobs. They do not care that I was in constant pain or that it was directly their fault. Go to any other dentist, please! Would love to rate this negative stars but not able to. Decided to give this place a try after they were able to accommodate and set an appointment within less than 24hrs. Once arriving, my son said this place looked shady. Another patient was there with a child in a stroller and Cheerios all over the place. Son was denied services and said he could not be seen after he was told he was not "eligible" with the insurance. I called after and I was told by the "Dr" that he's not eligible. I questioned how so. She responded in her broken English that he was not eligible through medical-cal. Well hello... of course not because he has private insurance. This woman is a quack. It took an hour and a half for her to pull my tooth. During that process she chipped the neighboring tooth. She doesn't appear to have the right equipment to get the job done. Dr. Ana is a great dentist who explains what she is doing and why she is doing it. I learned more about my teeth from her than any other dentist in 24 years. The building is a bit run down and there are vacant shops surrounding the office, but there is plenty of parking, the staff is helpful, and the treatment is great. 10/10, will be returning! read more

My first (and only) impression was bad. I made an appointment for 12:00pm, after 30 min I saw that the people ahead of me were not being seen. When I asked the clerical person, she said it would be at least another hour and 1/2 wait. Time is money, and this business wasted my time/money. If I hadn't self advocated and asked, I would've been there for 3.5 hours...waaaay too long. The seats in the waiting room are all destroyed and sunken in, horrible for your back. These guys shouldn't make appointments they can't meet, it's UNPROFESSIONAL and stressful. Plus the parking situation was Horrible, and your car is likely to get blocked in by illegal parking. I am not sure how she got the license in the first place. I have been a customer for nearly 3 years. Now I am done with this person. By the time I get the place she has two customers. I got to the place 30 minutes before my appointment meant and I have to wait for her 2 and a half hours just for an X-ray and talk. she had done absolutely nothing else after all those times I have been waiting for. she spent all her time talking nonsense stuff with one customer and talking over the phone while I was waiting on the exam table. I will never go back to this place and I won't recommend this person to be your dentist. she has respect at all for customers. She probably needs to take customer service classes. Started off as a God send even though its a 1 woman show in a shopping complex. It was clean, there was only 1 other person in the waiting room, and the receptionist is a sweetheart. I was thrilled to get an appointment in 2 days and on 1 visit was seen in 4 hrs for an emergency root canal. She walked me through the process and even helped me apply for financing through Care Credit since I was short on cash. Keep in mind with each of my 4 visits WITH an appointment there was still an hour wait and the dentist will literally answer a transferred call from the reception desk with your mouth still wide open. Even with all of this, I'd still come back since I'm used to clinics in run down neighborhoods with a 3 week appointment wait. But the kicker is.....I went to a St Johns clinic today for a checkup/Xrays and 2nd opinion on my previous work, and the 1st thing they said was I needed 3 fillings redone! You mean the same fillings I had done less than 3 weeks ago and upgraded from silver to white composites for and added $150!! No wonder my back tooth is sensitive to pressure. It's supposed to be filled with the stronger silver filling I had to begin with instead of a prettier/weaker white composite! read more

By far the worst experience ever. I came in to have a chipped tooth fixed and only decided to go here because my new insurance company assigned me to her. She recommended getting a crown which was $300 and then said because it was an anterior tooth it will come out to 400 something to make it look nice. I said, "so basically $500". When it was time for payment I asked exactly how much and she said "$500" - the price I basically suggested. She started the 1st part of the procedure and I only paid 1/3 of the price because she seemed fishy. During the procedure she was on her phone and even asked me if it has been 6 minutes while I had a huge plastic impression in my mouth. Most unprofessional dentist ever. I called my insurance and found out that my insurance covered anterior teeth and should be $300. I went back and got my money back and will be going to another dentist and will also be reporting her. read more
