A five-star breakfast place in Wenatchee. Yes, the rating is relative, but many solid mornings here make this a reliable go-to place for breakfast with my boy. Service is friendly, and their menu includes a tasty waffle and Swedish pancakes as well as a bunch of breakfast classics. My guess is there are a lot of people who eat here often and don't leave reviews, leading to the likes of a 1-star review by a mom whose 1 year old had gastroenteritis which she blamed on the restaurant (which is frankly absurd - 1 year olds get sick all the time, and if it was the food, mom would have gotten it too) to distort the ratings. We enjoyed our breakfast here, if I were local I'd be there weekly. The prices are fair, the service is fast and friendly. I had Scrambled eggs with diced ham. It was the best ever, it came with biscuits and gravy. The biscuit tasted fresh, right out of the oven. The hash browns were perfect, crispy and cooked to a deep golden brown. Awesome breakfast place in Wenatchee. Smittys serves up great french toast, pancakes, omelets, skillets, and more. The food is reasonably priced and the service is very good. Having only eaten breakfast there, I can't vouch for the rest of the menu but I'd feel confident ordering anything they serve. read more

I just tried Smitty's pancake house in six years about and it was very good and service was really quick free Wi-Fi and overall the food was very good it is a good place for kids there is nothing inappropriate things or nothing bad and I do take my grandkids there a lot and it is a good place thank you to Smitty's pancake house!!! read more

Stopped in with my boyfriend and his sister when visiting. Pretty typical pricing, excellent food when compared to Denny's or something similar. I had the hikers scramble which was pretty good, his sister had the small pancakes, my boyfriend got French toast and a side of bacon and sausage. We all finished all our food and felt pretty full. They were fast and friendly, gave my boyfriend an extra piece of bacon, and the cup of coffee was only 99 cents with free refills, which was a pleasant surprise. Definitely would go back! read more

This is generally one of our family's favorite places to come. The servers work hard and the food is great! This review is not about the food, but about the hostess in particular. I am a bit put off by the hostess at the front desk. There were customers waiting for tables all around her, and people coming to pay, all the while she very rudely continued eating her food she had. She was obviously working and not on break, chewing with her mouth open, and talking with her mouth full! There is a time and place for eating, and in front of paying patrons is not it! My husband and I ate here while traveling through Wenatchee, as an alternative to your run-of-the-mill "Denny's" fare, and we were highly impressed! The service was quick and friendly, the whole restaurant was clean and inviting, the menu was extensive, and the food was fresh, made right to order, and delicious. We have been traveling the country (we are touring actors) and as such, have eaten at many a "home style" diner - this one tops the list! Sure, if can't handle pouring your own cup from a carafe of FRESH coffee placed at your table immediately upon request, go to Denny's. This is a great spot for pancakes, crepes, eggs, bacon (thick and super good), and for scrambles. Plain fare done well. Their soups are homemade and delicious. This spot is consistently voted in the top three spots for breakfast in the valley and usually in the top spot. We enjoyed our visit to Smitty's. It was recommended by some of the area locals and we are glad we chose it over a few nearby chain restaurants. The service was very friendly, seems to be a trend in the area and I love it. The menu offers many options which is great for me since I have wheat allergies. Well, since Prospector Pies closed, we had to find a new place to eat when we visit Wenatchee. This place fit the bill and was wonderful. The waitress was great and the food was fantastic. We got to the restaurant at 9:30 am. We had to wait a few minutes as they were busy. We were finally seated at 9:50. We received coffee and menus. The waiter took our order at 10. We then sat there waiting patiently for our breakfast. We then started to notice that several people that had come into the restaurant after us were receiving their meals. We inquired a couple of times as to when we would get ours. We were told the manager would come out and talk to us. At 10:45 she came and I calmly tried to explain to her my husband was diabetic and needed his breakfast. I was told "don't get exited at me! I'm not the cook." We then said we were leaving and she did give us the coffee for free. But we felt forgotten and the manager was extremely rude. We will never set foot in there again. Should have gone to Shari's or Denny's ...or made breakfast at home. They "can't" make a mocha....so i had to order coffee and cocoa separately. I did like my California Benedict, but my boyfriend was disappointed with the brown and serve sausage...and his pancake was probably a cheap box mix and was soggy and cold. The bathroom was dingy and had a poorly aligned stall door that you had to shove shut and get it to wedge to stay shut. My wife an I been eating at Smitties in Wenatchee wa for months the food is pretty good , my issue is that cooks appear to have know idea how to turn bread into golden brown toast , what I get every time is warm white bread with a spot of butter in the middle . And this is after I tell the waitress to ask them to toast it golden brown . The waitress are partial at fault they bring it to the table that way. Took my son, he was so excited....absolute dreadful. Starting with the Decor, the 80's dirty sticky carpet, banquet chairs and dusty flower curtains. The food wasn't better.
