I would give 4.5/5 stars. We were visiting Leavenworth and really, really needed some Asian food, especially soup. After doing some research, we decided to head to VN Pho. The place was busy and packed, clearly a popular spot. You order and pay at the counter first, which was no issue for us. * Pork bánh mì was delicious, and the Vietnamese coffee was nice and strong. 5/5 * Spring rolls tasted slightly off but still okay. I didn't care for the peanut sauce--it was completely smooth with no texture, which threw me off a bit. I'd rate them 3.75/5. * I got a large pho with steak and brisket. I usually get brisket at my regular spots but find it hit or miss at new places, so I add a second meat just in case. Unfortunately, the brisket was almost all fat, and the steak wasn't the usual thin-sliced pieces; it came in thicker, circular cuts, which I didn't love. That said, the broth had depth and was delicious--on the slightly sweeter side, but nothing some sriracha and hoisin couldn't fix. And loved the abundance of garnishes. It definitely satisfied my pho craving, so overall, no complaints. 4/5 Worth the 30 min drive from Leavenworth. read more

I cannot express how much I love this place! As a Vietnamese who is new to Wenatchee, I've been searching for a place that has the taste of home and it's this place!!!! The broth is very clear, they are very generous with the meat. Service was good, friendly staff, you might need to wait 10-15' for food! Good vibes! You order and pay at the counter before you sit down which is ok but the restaurant got busy with people walking in and the server struggled getting through and it was impossible for her to deliver food. Ordered two P3 Beef steak pho, shrimp and pork spring rolls and vegetable fried rice. I've had worse before but it is below average for sure. The broth was sweet and blend even my 7 yr old daughter made a comment. The spring rolls were short and fat so from one bite I spilled more than half of inside and my husband did the same. The fried rice tasted ok but not worth paying $17 for rice full of nothing but frozen peas/carrots/corns. The place is cluttered with supplies every where and the table was sticky. Spring rolls meh. Rice paper was dried out and hard to chew. Hubby ordered P7 large and I ordered P 4 small with side of egg. We got p7 large and P7 small. So, as my hubby is enjoying his pho, I sit and wait. 5 mins later received a small bowl of pho with only flank steak, no rare steak, in which I ordered. Flank steak was so chewy I almost choked on it trying to swallow it. The broth and veg side to dress it were awesome, but I paid for 2 meats and only got 1. Sad and was not going to complain that it was wrong again, so just enjoyed the noodles and broth. Don't think We would come back due to quality and mix ups. Waitress was great but never came back to table until to bring our check. Total dinner was 37.50. Oh and btw.... You only get bottled Costco water, no glasses. I have been here many times (I moved to this side of the state about a year ago) and this WAS one of my favorite places to get the noodle bowls (boom bowls), spring rolls, and the pho. A few weeks ago I took a friend there and we ate inside, the woman at the counter acted rude towards my friend who is an older lady (which I had never noticed before) and we ordered our food. Our spring rolls had bbq pork in it (which was mostly fat) and shrimp...who does that? I have never had that before. I ordered the noddle bowl with chicken and egg rolls. The chicken looked undercooked and made me feel sick, my egg rolls were basically carrots and needless to say my friend wasn't impressed. I'm so disappointed! Maybe it was an off day or they changed some workers. Not sure, I will be back again to try at least once more in a bit in the future. I loved the atmosphere! I got there around 5 or 6 on a Monday and the place was about half full. By the time I left every table was occupied so I'm guessing it's a pretty popular place I started with the 2 spring rolls and got the P3 for my entree. I'm pretty sure that's the number for the regular beef Pho. I asked the server about the different options and he was on top of his game describing the differences. The spring rolls came out first. The were pretty good. They were light and refreshing and the sauce that came with them was pretty good. The pho was good too. It came with a side plate of basil, sprouts, lime and jalapeños. I started by loading the sprouts in the pho. That gives them some time to cook in the broth. It's not their fault but I always forget to ask for no cilantro when I get pho. It doesn't ruin it for me but it definitely overpowers the other flavors. I also added the jalapeños. I was surprised at how much the oils from the jalapeños deeper into the soup. It wasn't overwhelming heat but there was definitely some spice. read more

I've been to the different pho locations in the Wenatchee Valley, and I do believe this location to be closest to authentic pho. Even when I've gone to get my nails/brows done, my beautician even recommended this location as the best pho in town. I think for the price point, you do get a decent amount of food. Although it may not be cheaper than pho you'll find in Seattle or San Jose, the quality and price of VN Pho is good. The broth is pho is one of the key components to having a great pho dish. And I think that VN Pho does a decent job on their both. It doesn't seem to be too MSG heavy, and there is a lot of flavor. The pho ingredients were all good. The veggies were fresh. And the noodle and meat quality were nice and plentiful. If you're craving pho in the Wenatchee Valley, VN Pho is the place to be. Basic interior, authentic Pho. This is what Vietnamese should taste like. The small, family owned restaurant next to their nail salon is not fancy but serves up great food. I was impressed. The Spring Roll was good. A nice size with ample shrimp and tasty, peanut dipping sauce but there real winner here is the pho. The broth is fantastic, the meats true and the setup of jalapenos, mint and bean sprouts ample. The trip is a bit chewier than expected so if you don't like it authentic, order to your comfort level. It's very good pho in this area. I spent many years on the wet side, and there are more excellent pho joints than MCDonalds. So in fairness, I'm pretty spoiled Since Covid there is typically a long take out line. This was a tad bothersome as I had called in my order to avoid that, but I had to wait for many to place their order while mine was chilling on the counter. Note the word tad. I like my broth hot- it's supposed to cook the rare meat in the bowl, so a few minutes getting to temp was not a disaster. I have always been treated well, I note that bussing tables was a bit slow. My Sister and I visited this place the other day (my first time). We were the only customers. We were handed menus by staff and told to go up to the desk to order and pay when we were ready. Odd for dine in guests. We did. The sun was shining bright inside and we were SO HOT. My Sister asked if they could crack the door open for some cool air. The girl said YOU CAN. My sister did. This is the real deal. I'm from Westminster, the largest population of Vietnamese people outside of Vietnam so I know my pho. The broth is super delicious. I was in town for some business and feeling a little homesick, I decided to check out VN Pho for a bowl of beef pho. Glad that I did. When I walked through the door, I received a warm welcome. The hostess/waitress was super nice and attentive. I ended up ordering the P1 - Pho Dac Biet (meaning all beef types: rare steak, brisket, beef meatballs, and tripe). The food came out shortly after. The pho was just perfect. Just the way I like it! And the owner and staff were super friendly. Definitely a five star experience! I will definitely be visiting again next time I am in town! 5 stars out of 5 for great food at great price with a great environment and staff. Pricing was what I expected to pay. This place is pho real. I've eaten at a lot of pho places on the west side and VN pho gives even the best a run for their money. Even better in some regards, the biggest thing I noticed is the use of more quality meats. And they actually fill your water more than the initial time haha, if you've ever eaten at others you know what I mean. Great service. I got pho tai, wife had bun thit nuong cha gio (bun vermicelli with beef). Both super good, the beef in the bun dish was REALLY good. Impressed overall and not just good for Wenatchee. One of the best pho I have ever had in my life. The broth taste so fresh, flavorful, and clean. I heard the chef cooks the broth for 16 hours every day. The ingredients including the meat, veggie and noodles are very fresh. Especially the brisket and flank are my favorite. One of their incredibly underrated dish lemongrass chicken/beef is phenomenal, like eating it with rice is basically eating heaven. If you want to go healthier, I would go with the Bun bowl, which is a noodle salad with meat. Never had the fried rice their but it always smell very good. The portions are also very generous.
