Pretty straight forward smog check. Called in and they told me I could come in right away. I was in-and-out in about 15 minutes and cost was 50 dollars. Kenny was very personable. Just fyi, there are two smog checks in this plaza. If you're heading south on Inglewood and pull into the plaza, then its the second one (right before the exit). Kenny was the worse smog experience I ever had, and I would never go back; the cost is $60, which is higher than most places, but that is not the issue here. However, my car passed on everything except 15mph, so Kenny promised a free retest in writing and gave me a month to drive the vehicle. Then, he recommended the best, most expensive gas (yet suddenly, I could not open the gas cap after he drove my car). Additionally, I purchased an emissions system cleaner that guarantees to pass the smog or double your money back. Two weeks later, I called Kenny when with my neighbor and 2 minutes away, yet Kenny refused to retest. So, after driving it for another week, I came from Lomita to get my free retest as sure it would pass, and he not only refused to retest but verbally abused me. I would not feel comfortable doing a retest anyway due to a lack of trust due to his acting in bad faith! The car should have passed the first time if he had run it for a few minutes and pressed the gas. Kenny was extremely rude and unprofessional and took advantage of me being a disabled woman! read more

In and out in literally ten minutes. $45 transmitted to the state and a certificate in case DMV dropped the ball. Went to AAA ten minutes later and didn't even need the certificate. It was already good to go for registration renewal. I love it when a plan comes together. read more
