A GREAT place to bring your car for a smog check! The guy working here is super cool! I think this is a one man shop, but there wasn't anyone when I got there so I was seen right away! I was in and out pretty fast. This place is in a strip mall shared with a bunch of other auto shops.. so there's tons of cars in here waiting for different services. I like this place and have been recommending it to my friends who work in the area.

I've been going to Kenny for several years now, probably about 6 times now. Out of those times I don't believe I ever had to wait. He starts right away and does his job thoroughly. My cars have always passed. Kenny is quick and complete. His shop is located among a line of other garages. It's a little crowded and you just need to know that the driveway is one way. Turn in off the side street and arrive at Smog Express down toward the end. I'm writing this review because I really like the service. Can you believe I actually look forward to getting my car smogged! It's true!!!

Great service, fast and fair prices. He also pointed out a couple little things I might want to get looked at by my mechanic.

Pretty straight forward smog check. Called in and they told me I could come in right away. I was in-and-out in about 15 minutes and cost was 50 dollars. Kenny was very personable. Just fyi, there are two smog checks in this plaza. If you're heading south on Inglewood and pull into the plaza, then its the second one (right before the exit). The first smog check station just says "SMOG" with a check symbol. Kennys smog says "SMOG CHECK" Express TEST ONLY. read more

Believe the reviews. Kenny is the best. Old skool korean dude that knows what he's doing and doesn't BS. I called ahead and he said to wait 20 minutes cause he had another customer at the time. When I went in, he swapped the cars right out and knocked it out. 50 bucks. Done deal. I'll go back. read more

Now, that was easy!!!! I called and asked how much for a smog check on my car and Kenny gave me a quote for my car. It was the same price as he quoted on the phone. He started as soon as I got there and was done so fast that I was like wow!! He backed my car out and pulled someone else in. Money and thank you to me and before I could bat an eye twice, I was back on Inglewood blvd heading home. Yeah, Kenny, I will see you in two years!! Thanks!!! read more

Kenny was the worse smog experience I ever had, and I would never go back; the cost is $60, which is higher than most places, but that is not the issue here. However, my car passed on everything except 15mph, so Kenny promised a free retest in writing and gave me a month to drive the vehicle. Then, he recommended the best, most expensive gas (yet suddenly, I could not open the gas cap after he drove my car). Additionally, I purchased an emissions system cleaner that guarantees to pass the smog or double your money back. Two weeks later, I called Kenny when with my neighbor and 2 minutes away, yet Kenny refused to retest. So, after driving it for another week, I came from Lomita to get my free retest as sure it would pass, and he not only refused to retest but verbally abused me. I would not feel comfortable doing a retest anyway due to a lack of trust due to his acting in bad faith! The car should have passed the first time if he had run it for a few minutes and pressed the gas. Kenny was extremely rude and unprofessional and took advantage of me being a disabled woman! read more

I made an appointment through their website, very user friendly, and received a confirmation text shortly after. I decided I needed to modify my appointment, there didn't seem to be an option to do it on the website, so I texted the number back and asked to change my appointment, this was done quickly without issues. I arrived to my appointment 10 mins early. Dru was very helpful, friendly and professional. He entered my car's info into the system, and once my car passed the smog check, everything was updated and entered into the system already so that when I pay my registration, the DMV (or in my case, AAA) will see that my car passed the smog test. In case the system isn't updated, I was provided with a hard copy certificate to prove that it passed. My entire appointment took 10mins altogether, can't beat that! Pricing was fair and affordable, depends on the year of your car. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs a quick smog check station.

There were definitely some challenges along the way, especially with permits in our city. Apparently it is much tougher than others when it comes to permits, and it ended up requiring a lot more paperwork and extra effort than he expected. Even with all that, Cyrus stuck to his original quote and never tried to charge us more, which we really appreciated. Jaime and Jesus handled the installation of the air handler, ductwork, and heat pump. They worked hard, were very respectful of our home, kept things clean, and honestly were much quieter doing the work than I expected considering all the cutting and installation involved. They also worked hard to finish ahead of the timeline they originally gave us. Inspection passed with no issues, and now we've been using the AC for months with zero problems. Overall, we're really happy with the work and would definitely recommend them.

I had my Ford Excursion rebuilt rear differential with Detroit locker and 4.88 gears. Front axle conversion to a Dana 60, Dynatrac solid ball joints, Timken Wheel bearings, Eaton truetrac differential and 4.88 gears new u-joints. Transfer case fluid change. Install of 8 piston brakes all around with stainless steel lines from SSBC. Coming back for for a BDS 10" Lift, Fox Struts and longer SS Brake lines. Possibly a PCS Steering Ram assist I highly recommend them. They have a customer for life now.

My wifes car needed to be smoged (the dreded somg test) so I typed in SMOG TEST and a bunch of places came up one of which was just around the corner at 131st and Inglewood ave. a lot closer than the place I had been going to, which gave me a bad experience the last time I was their. Read the comments and decided to give Kenny a call. made an appointment for the next morning (today), got their at 7:45 he opens at 8:00 He got their at 7:55 and wanted to know if I had been waiting long. Told him that i've been waiting about an hour and that I was pissed. We laughed, he opened up and I was done 15 minutes. Paid him, he gave me the certificate and I was out of their. I thought that it was nice of him to ask if I had been waiting long even though he was early. He knows what he is doing, didn't make me wait while he got a cup of coffee and treated my wifes car as if it were his own. More importantly, he didn't mind answering questions. being a car guy and a retired electronics engineer I am interested in these things. read more

Kenny is the BEST!! I showed up with no appointment and was in & out in 15 minutes. Very professional and friendly service. He gave me the "Special Yelp User Price" of $45 all inclusive.
